Od co najmniej dwóch tygodni rządowy system e-Doręczenia praktycznie nie działa - a to właśnie ostatnie dni, w których ok. 2 mln jednoosobowych firm miało założyć skrzynkę przed terminem 1 października. Nazwijmy to po imieniu: zmasowany atak DoS na żądanie Ministerstwa. Czy naprawdę każda taka usługa wymaga centralizacji? Nie - proponujemy inne podejście i inne rozwinięcie skrótu: Decentralization of Service.

Jak zawsze winni są użytkownicy (przecież mogli założyć skrzynkę wcześniej). Taki mały żarcik. A na poważnie: czy skala problemu była naprawdę tak przytłaczająca?

Dlaczego jeden portal zawodzi

Logowanie, kody, wnioski i CEIDG zależą od wspólnych elementów, m.in. login.gov.pl: gdy pada jedno ogniwo, staje wszystko - a najczęściej pada logowanie.
Każdy błąd generuje kolejne próby, więc użytkownicy sami zwiększają obciążenie.
Skalowalność ogranicza się do możliwości jednego operatora.

Jak działa decentralizacja

Tu potrzebne jest kilka słów o tym, jak działa sam blockchain. Wyróżniamy dwa rodzaje węzłów:

Węzły API - odpowiadają za komunikację z użytkownikami (przedsiębiorcami, urzędami). Pełnią rolę pośrednika: wstępnie weryfikują zleconą transakcję (np. sprawdzają ważność podpisów i inne podstawowe, publicznie dostępne dane) i przekazują ją dalej przez sieć P2P. Obsługują zatem dwa rodzaje ruchu:
- zapytania API - zarówno pasywne (pobieranie danych), jak i aktywne (rozgłaszanie transakcji, broadcast_transaction);
- ruch P2P - wymianę bieżąco rozgłaszanych transakcji oraz zatwierdzonych bloków.
Co ważne, ta technologia pozwala, by każdy z nas - użytkowników systemów rządowych - mógł mieć u siebie taki węzeł (ograniczony do przechowywania wyłącznie własnych danych, co zmniejsza zużycie zasobów). Ten sam model sprawdziłby się zresztą w KSeF: każda firma mogłaby mieć własny, lokalny węzeł z kopią swoich faktur.
Węzły producentów (walidatorów) bloków - te powinny być odizolowane od zewnętrznego ruchu API. Ich zadaniem jest zatwierdzanie transakcji napływających z sieci P2P oraz tworzenie i rozgłaszanie bloków, które je zawierają. To one odpowiadają za stabilne działanie i spójność sieci.

What Hive Witnesses do — and why your vote matters

Who are Witnesses?

Hive runs on a community-elected group of people called Witnesses. Think of them as the elected administrators of the Hive blockchain. They keep the network running by operating servers 24/7 that validate and permanently record every action on Hive — posts, comments, votes, transfers, and more.

Every 63 seconds, Hive selects the top 20 witnesses plus 1 randomly chosen backup witness to sign the next block of transactions. Each has 3 seconds to do so — if they miss it, the slot passes to the next scheduled witness and counts as a "missed block."

Witnesses earn HP (Hive Power) for every block they sign. This comes from a dedicated reward pool that is separate from the author and curator reward pools. According to the Hive Whitepaper, Hive inflation is distributed as follows:

65% → content creator and curator rewards

15% → HP stakeholders

10% → witnesses for signing blocks

10% → the Decentralized Hive Fund

Beyond signing blocks, witnesses also:

Publish a live HIVE and HBD price feed used by the blockchain
Vote on key network settings, such as:
- HBD savings interest rate (currently 10% APR — set by witness vote)
- Account creation fee (currently 3 HIVE)
- Maximum block size

The chart below shows how that HP was distributed:

Notice the sharp drop-off after rank 20. This is expected: Top 20 witnesses sign a block roughly every 63 seconds, while backup witnesses (rank 21+) are called on far less frequently. Top 20 witnesses do earn slightly less HP per block than backup witnesses, which partially offsets this difference.

This also means missed blocks are harder to avoid at higher ranks. A Top 20 witness missing 10 blocks is very different from a rank 140 witness missing 10 — the Top 20 are under much heavier and more consistent load.

Witness names may not always fit in the charts due to space — this varies each month.

You may notice some witnesses listed with 0 HP earned. This can happen for several reasons:

Self-disabled: a witness can voluntarily pause block signing by broadcasting a null signing key, typically during server maintenance, a migration, or when winding down their operations. The blockchain will skip them entirely until they re-enable.
Too low-ranked to be selected: backup witnesses (rank 21+) are chosen randomly each round, weighted by their vote support. A witness ranked in the hundreds or lower may simply never be picked for the single backup slot in a given month — this is normal and expected at those ranks.
Node issues: a server that is offline, misconfigured, or running an outdated version will miss every slot it is scheduled for. Unlike older versions of Hive (pre-Hardfork 20), the blockchain no longer auto-disables witnesses for excessive misses — so a broken node can accumulate missed blocks indefinitely without being removed from the schedule.

I hyped on HYPE way before the next bull run

Even if I might a little bit late to the party, I have still joined it and hyped on HYPE. Sometimes when I need to take a decision it takes more time than needed. Why do I say that? Let's remember that Trump made some comments during August 19, 2026, at the Crypto and Technology Summit at the White House: the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chair Mike Selig is working to bring the decentralized exchange Hyperliquid (HYPE) into the United States in a "fully compliant and legal fashion". And my decision to jump on the wagon came after 1.5 months since that, thus I would call it a delayed decision.

Beside Trump creating buzz on HYPE which reacted right after that and saw a jump in price, I knew about this asset (as you've also probably known) for quite a long time. But for some reason it didn't click or maybe I had already quite a bit of tokens in my portfolio that I didn't react on it. I chose to invest into NEAR instead of HYPE and I said it was enough for me. And that wasn't a bad choice as I am pushing 100% ROI on NEAR token. But in the corner of my mind HYPE was still there and had an inception thought planted for me to find at some point. And these days that just happened as I've seen a bit of decrease of the token up to $85 and I told myself that it is not a bad price point considering that we are nowhere in a bull market cycle.

While I haven't done much DYOR about it as I have been following the token for a while and observed its performance in time, I will leave bellow some cons and pros for it. I found them myself a bit surprising and maybe if I knew them before I wouldn't have jumped right now with the investment, but in the same as I plan to HODL long on it, I think the pros will overpower the cons. Nobody can say that for sure, but up until now HYPE has proven its worth.

Cons (The Downside) 👎

Upcoming dilution: Hyperliquid is scheduled to conduct a significant $856 million token unlock on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, primarily releasing team and core contributor supply.
Regulatory target: The platform is currently the center of a major U.S. House oversight about alleged insider trading and a $1.1 billion short position, which could spark sudden regulatory crackdowns.
Volatility risks: Because its buyback mechanism relies entirely on trading volume, a prolonged crypto bear market or a drop in platform activity would instantly diminish the token's buying support.
Centralization realities: Despite its "DeFi" branding, core contributor tokens, foundation budgets and future emissions still dominate the total 1-billion token supply cap, raising holder concentration risks.

Pros (The Upside) 👍

The "Fee Flywheel" buyback: The protocol funnels 97% to 99% of its trading fee revenue directly into continuous, open-market buybacks of HYPE, adding regular buying pressure.
True revenue backed value: Unlike speculative assets, HYPE's value is heavily tied to a functioning business processing over $200 billion in monthly trading volume.
Organic distribution: Launched via a massive user airdrop with zero initial Venture Capital (VC) allocations, reducing early dumping pressure from private institutions.
Deep utility: Serves as the L1 network gas token, offers tiered trading fee discounts (up to 40%) and acts as a mandatory stake for builders wanting to launch new markets.
U.S. expansion potential: High speculative upside remains if the Trump administration successfully allows it to function under the CFTC.

The primary catalyst driving investor hype on hype 😆 is its revenue-backed buyback model: Hyperliquid routes 97% to 99% of its massive trading fee revenue directly into an automated "Assistance Fund". This fund continuously buys HYPE tokens from the open market and permanently burns 🔥🔥🔥 them, heavily reducing the supply based on real platform utility rather than hype. While the Max Supply = 1 Billion tokens, the Total Supply = 955.307 Millions (already 5% decrease from the max supply) just because of that.

Yesterday, I read a thought-provoking post written by @gtg. The entire text (which, by the way, is quite interesting, and I recommend that all of you who haven't done so yet read it) made me think about who we are here within (or outside) Hive, and even who we are going to become through this ecosystem. We all began our journey at different times, and through different paths we are paving a process of identity construction. The process is almost never short, and it takes a lot of dedication, patience, and willpower to reap the rewards. A good dose of curiosity is also welcome.

Not that we don't already have one, of course. I am referring to the fact of showing the ecosystem who we are, and how we are working to make this project sustainable in the long term. We all started, without exception, being nobody. The “prize” is becoming someone throughout the process. However, how do we do that? The ugly truth (or perhaps this is just one of them), is that we can all do something... But not all of us want to. Why do many users choose to walk this path? I have no idea (and perhaps they themselves don't know how to answer). The answer remains a mystery.

Over almost nine years of venturing through the lands of blockchain, I have already seen the most different kinds of changes happening around here. The ecosystem is mutable, but it depends on all of us for that to happen, and for it to be maintained in the long term. Nothing here is thought out, planned, or executed for a short-term shot. The idea is always to aim far, and make the target be transformed into a solid foundation throughout the entire construction. Who does this? All of us. Even if moderately. Starting this journey as “nobody” is an expected truth; remaining a “nobody” is a choice of one's own.

From the whales to the smallest fish, every single action matters, and carries a plural weight that is significant to an immeasurable degree. We all contribute in unique ways to keep this project standing, and it is all these actions that become something to be noticed in the constructive process of what is for everyone's common use. The ugly truth, by the way, goes beyond what we can all do and don't do... It extends to those who do nothing, and still “profit” from something. Paying close attention, we can all do something useful. All we need to do, is find a way to believe in this truth.

On one side, there are those who exchange the most different kinds of ideas and work to reshape this ecosystem based on what is viable and organically good for everyone (although the result is not always that). On the other side, there are those who, behind the scenes, simply prefer to watch the “circus catch fire” (hoping to get, through inertia, something positive without “getting their hands dirty”). Here, everyone can be someone... But not everyone actually wants to be someone. Perhaps remaining nobody behind the curtains is one of the biggest problems we have around here.

Alright friends…@seattlea joins us this week. He has been on chain since August 2021. He is a numbers guy, and his posts are where he shows his work.

There's Splinterlands. He came in during the 2021 boom and stayed through the bust, and he tracked every bit of it. The card market falling from $280 million to under $45 million. Daily players dropping from 450,000 to about 4,000. And yet he is still here, three seasons straight in the Modern top 50, publishing his own card win rates. When a proposal came up to cap scholar accounts, he answered with a counterproposal of his own: don't restrict the ecosystem to fix the leaderboard, fix the leaderboard.

There's the infrastructure. He launched his Hive witness in early 2025 on the cloud, then moved it onto his own hardware for more control and less cost. He runs an SPS validator too. His witness tagline says it plainly: a witness that never powers his Hive down.

And there's the day job showing up on chain. A software engineer since 1999, now telling Hive that manual coding is dead. Not sure if that effects many of us, in the end your average joe just wants the app to work and the code is just the Voodoo gibberish behind it. He just started an agentic AI series on getting real work out of these tools without burning through your subscription. Plan with the expensive model, build with the cheap one.

Why not?

As we say in my country, "de perdidos al rio!" or in english "in for a penny, in for a pound!"...
It’s ridiculous to think this isn't a good price... sure, we could still drop to "absolute zero," but... only if Bitcoin goes to hell... don't you think?
I've never held this much HIVE, and it's never cost so little to acquire it, either...
Like I said, another 400 HIVE added to my stake.

Every action triggers a reaction, and within this ecosystem there will be no exception. Decentralization reminds us that we are all part of a project that is plural, where actions may even be “individual” at times, but the weight will always fall on the collective. So, being part of an initiative as important as Hive Power Up Day is something that is part of my agenda, and I think it is worthwhile to encourage other users to do the same. Every example can be contagious.

Although every day is, in fact, a good day to POWER UP, it is the sense of belonging that drives me to do this with a certain level of consistency. Remembering that on the first day of a new month many users are joining forces (literally) to have more power, and at the same time, also strengthen the entire ecosystem in which they are participating, reinforces the idea that we are on the right path to turning this project into something that is sustainable.

This is also a way of showing (but not necessarily having the obligation to prove) to other users that we are someone here. Being seen is the result of what we do, and joining this kind of movement reinforces the visibility of the showcase in which we are all important “objects”. If you have the opportunity to do this today, don't hesitate... Join so many other users who will do (or have already done) the same thing. Every “step” in the right direction is always useful.

Today, I am doing a POWER UP of 850 HIVE. Therefore, I reached the milestone of 120K HIVE POWER accumulated, and increased my own goal to 125K HIVE POWER by the end of this year. Yes, I really like challenging myself, and I think it is very worthwhile for keeping me motivated to reach for increasingly higher heights according to my own goals. In this context, I seek to go further than I think I can go (and I am always positively surprised).

Cada acción desencadena una reacción, y dentro de este ecosistema no habrá ninguna excepción. La descentralización nos recuerda que todos formamos parte de un proyecto que es plural, donde las acciones pueden incluso ser “individuales” en algunos momentos, pero el peso siempre recaerá sobre el colectivo. Entonces, formar parte de una iniciativa tan importante como el Hive Power Up Day es algo que forma parte de mi agenda, y considero válido incentivar a otros usuarios a hacer lo mismo. Todo ejemplo puede ser contagioso.

Aunque todos los días sean, de hecho, buenos días para hacer POWER UP, es el sentido de pertenencia lo que me mueve a hacerlo con cierto nivel de asiduidad. Recordar que el primer día de un nuevo mes muchos usuarios están uniendo fuerzas (literalmente) para tener más poder, y al mismo tiempo, fortalecer también todo el ecosistema del que están participando, refuerza la idea de que estamos en el camino correcto para convertir este proyecto en algo que sea sostenible.

Esta también es una manera de mostrar (pero no necesariamente tener la obligación de demostrar) a los demás usuarios que nosotros somos alguien aquí. Ser visto es el resultado de lo que hacemos, y unirnos a este tipo de movimiento refuerza la visibilidad del escaparate en el que todos somos “objetos” importantes. Si tienes la oportunidad de hacer esto hoy, no lo dudes... Únete a tantos otros usuarios que harán (o ya hicieron) lo mismo. Cada “paso” en la dirección correcta siempre es útil.

Hoy, estoy haciendo un POWER UP de 850 HIVE. Siendo así, alcancé la marca de 120K HIVE POWER acumulados, y aumenté mi propia meta a 125K HIVE POWER para finales de este año. Sí, me gusta mucho desafiarme, y pienso que es muy válido para mantenerme motivado a alcanzar vuelos cada vez más altos de acuerdo con mis propios objetivos. En ese contexto, busco ir más allá de lo que creo que puedo lograr (y siempre me sorprendo positivamente).
