🐈 Sad Cat, Flood, Nice Dinner, & Online Findings 🌊

^{October 29th, 2026}
**featured authors receive 5% post beneficiary**

The first post is made by @glowinthelight. It's really sad when animals dies for no reason even when they're healthy. I would be crying for weeks if one my cat died and I don't really want to think about them not being here anymore. It's sad that the kittens didn't survive. Our second post is made by @usagigallardo015. That is a really big flood, I hope everyone was safe. In Cambodia the floods weren't ever that bad, the only bad thing that happened in my village was that it rained almost every day. It rained so much that trees fell and landed on power poles which caused power outage and the lighting striking the road and stuff like that. I like drawing or making forts when it rained and it always made me feel nice and cozy.

The third post on this list is made by @luueetang. i don't think I've tried Malaysian food before or I might have but just forgotten. It looks good and My family also likes the fried peanuts. Back in Suriname, my mom would always hide the peanuts because my dad would eat them all in one bite. My mom would hide them in bowls, the oven and other places but he would always find them. The last post is made by @shikika. Back in Cambodia, my mom and I would always like to buy online clothes like t-shirts, pants, and other stuff. My mom would scrolling and find a lady on live in Facebook calling out numbers to clothes for who ever typed in the number first.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} This furry creature was taken cared of my by younger sibling until it got pregnant with its mate. She already spent thousands for her couple cats. She did not regret spending every single cent of it as she showered her undeniable love, care and support for these cute creatures. She thought of doing a business of breeding the couple cats she raised but she ended up being failure as the first kittens born to these couple cats suddenly died after it was born while the other one died few days later. It was tragic that her thought of return of investment was lost because of the death of the kittens.

^{(ᴇxᴄᴇʀᴘᴛ)} Sometimes, looking at old pictures brings back memories that we will never forget. These photos remind me of the big flood that affected our place a few months ago. It was not an easy experience for our family, and I am still hoping that we will not have to go through the same situation again.

snowli — Fri, 30 Oct 2026 02:22:06 GMT

"Is street photography dying because of artificial intelligence? I couldn't say where AI-generated images are heading, but I do know one thing: the essence of street photography is to leave a visual record of what happens in the streets. These are moments that are actually taking place, captured by us photographers as they happen."

"Let me show you what's been happening in the garden in the last couple of weeks! I haven't managed to clean everything for winter, but I don't feel too guilty about it as I left some debris for insects to overwinter. It counts as a good deed, doesn't it? Hello everyone! OCD has long supported leading niche communities through its Community Incubation Program, but Hive is full of smaller communities outside the program that deserve support too.

This compilation features posts from those other niche communities, nominated by OCD's community curators through scrobble.life/curation and accepted by OCD's curation team. Highlighting both the authors and the communities they post in helps smaller communities grow their subscribers and engagement, and a small boost goes a long way.

¿Sobras de amor o amor de sobra? El valor de no conformarnos con migajas (Leftover Love or Love to Spare? The Worth of Not Settling for Crumbs). [ESP-ENG]

lilitome30 — Thu, 29 Oct 2026 21:13:57 GMT

It seems incredible how two practically identical words, just by changing their position, can define the difference between feeling at home or feeling in a perpetual waiting room. In human relationships, in the bonds we weave throughout life—whether as a couple, in family, or even in our friendships—we often stumble upon a very thin line that separates abundance from scarcity.

That thin line boils down to a wordplay that hurts and teaches: leftover love versus love to spare.

Stopping to analyze this distinction is not an exercise in judgment toward others, but a profound act of honesty with ourselves. How many times have we found ourselves accepting what's left? And how many times have we had the fortune of experiencing an affection that overflows without asking for anything in return?

Living on Crumbs: How Much "Leftover Love" Hurts

Accepting leftover love is, essentially, learning to settle for the residue. It is the emotional equivalent of sitting at a table where others have already eaten and only empty plates and cold leftovers remain. In practice, it translates into exhausting dynamics: the time that "is left over" in the other person's schedule, last-minute calls when there is no energy left to converse, and half-hearted attention while the gaze remains fixed elsewhere.

Why do we fall there? Often, the fear of loneliness acts as a treacherous advisor. It whispers in our ear that a little bit of affection is better than the immensity of emptiness, making us mistakenly believe that begging for care is a sign of patience or unconditional love. We convince ourselves that "it is what it is" or that we must be understanding of others' busy lives.

However, when we accept crumbs, little by little we empty our own emotional pantry. We become experts at justifying absences and settling for intermittent flashes of affection, forgetting a fundamental truth: no one should be a secondary option in the life of someone we consider a priority. Leftover love wears us down, generates anxiety, and leaves us with the bitter feeling that our worth depends on what the other person is willing to discard for us.

shadowspub — Thu, 29 Oct 2026 15:05:06 GMT

Do you have content you would like to get some more eyes on?

Have you found someone’s content you’d love to share?

Then join us on Thursdays for the longest running content curation show on Discord — Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT). It happens every Thursday at 12pm Eastern in the DreemPort Discord.

Some great discussions take place during the shows. They give you an opportunity to ask questions and learn about what is happening.

I’m ShadowsPub the creator and host of PYPT. I don’t care where you create your content, it’s welcome to be shared on the show. Great opportunity to meet some new friends.

Having seen the value in networking, the more diverse the group is, the greater the opportunity to connect, learn and grow. The DreemPort server is here

Here is the recording: (this is a partial recording. There was a disconnect during the show)

Share Yours / Share For Another

Several at PYPT regularly share posts from others. I’d like to see even more. If you see a post from someone you like, make a note of it and bring it along to PYPT on Thursday.

Community is about sharing. So, let’s share.

I’ve created a different NFT for each month through to the end of 2025. They are exclusive to PYPT through a draw each week. To win the NFT you need to be present and participating during PYPT.
