When You Think Long Term And Others Do Not See It

This came through my X feed yesterday and is definitely something I can relate to and this is all very true. The majority in crypto do not know the meaning of building with a project and tend to move on far too soon. 4 years in crypto is not a long time and was the average length of one crypto cycle so this time period is gone in a flash and is over before you know it.

I have been on HIVE for just on eight and a half years now which is more than double the 4 year period mentioned in this article. Time has flown by and I know the length of time I have spent on HIVE seems long, but it feels like only a few years. When you are enjoying yourself time is irrelevant even though you are growing faster and faster each year due to your stake increasing and what it offers directly impacting that growth.

The advantage of sticking with any crypto for a lengthy period of time may seem boring, but it is a good boring. Understanding the entire eco system opens up more opportunity and knowing how to earn hardly makes it boring. Thousands have joined HIVE and left because they were not prepared to apply themselves as this must be too hard and far more work that they had first envisioned.

Everyone has heard the saying a rolling stone gathers no moss and the same can be said for hopping around in crypto. I think it takes time to learn this through experience and why they say 90% of those in crypto have lost money. This is easy to see when you stand back and reflect on what the majority in crypto are doing by chasing for the quick buck which rarely exists.

When I started out in crypto back in early 2018 the impression everyone had was crypto was a get rich quick scheme. The getting rich part is true but there is nothing quick about it and this involves years of dedication through being consistent. The money is definitely available to those who are prepared to work whether it is HIVE or just a normal staking crypto.

Using compounding as your growth tool everyday you are staked you are earning more which even though is still fractions of a percent it is still growth. Given time as the key ingredient this accumulation process speeds up and how the wealth is slowly created. There is no need to go hunting for trades as most have no idea what they are doing and as we all know nothing is ever guaranteed.

Sometimes it is hard to fathom why HIVE is not more popular than it is and my guess it is a lot of work and effort to become established. When you look at things in real life that hold value the only reason they hold value is they are not easy to obtain. HIVE as a crypto may be cheap in price for what it offers in terms of wealth but like anything else if you accumulate enough the wealth is there.

I believe 4 years is far too short and sway towards a 8-10 year time period to at least give yourself a chance of turning your finances around. Over the last 5 years we have had a rough time of things with the crypto market not playing ball like we had hoped as the market time frame for the crypto cycle did change.

What is going to be interesting to see is how much value will be unlocked when we finally see the proper Bull cycle peak and how much those who stuck with a project will be worth. The length of time is the key and I am optimistic we still have more time left to accumulate more and more until that time comes.

We are up to speed on our so-called September crypto heist that saw the vault door being blown off and a wallet of 387.5 million dollars stolen from Bitget without so much as cracking a lock. The burglar didn't get in from snapping the vault door open and making off with the cash but by forging withdrawal slips with a leaked API key to third-party security management tools and while Bitget has since rotated their vault, reassured us they never accessed their cold storage and reactivated the withdrawal lights, our crook wasn't hanging around to wait for the 911 call.

The lesson Block Sec's team learned was that the attacker had set himself up with a three-act plan for leaving the scene of the crime and the first act played out just 41 minutes in - before Bitget even tweeted that something was off, when an estimated US$75.48 million of the kind of money that can be frozen, such as USDT and USDC, was traded for ETH and AVAX via Uniswap and 1inch because our thief knows Tether and Circle love a big red freeze button and they push it - and sure enough, when they finally did on a wallet with $318k, the money had already checked out of the hotel.

Part two was the epic bitcoin migration, where all, every single coin, from every chain was quietly migrated to bitcoin, with THORChain doing the lion's share, placing $269m across 7,804 trips, and Chainflip filling the other $37m, and on snapshot on September 29, the thief was still sitting comfortably on around $342m, or 88.3 per cent of the total, and nearly everything else, including 3,386 bitcoin was now under a bitcoin cap.

And then, the disappearing act, act three, as if by magic, because once you have Bitcoin, you need to make it forget where it came from, so that the coins can be led into the swirling coil of a Coin Join mixer, that giant washing machine where your coin gets tossed with a hundred others until neither you nor the coin are sure whether it's yours anymore, $3,944,732 went in there, and AMLBot catches 4 BTC moosing around in the Wasabi Coin Join.

Here's the punchline that makes this a comedy: 5 days into the heist, after all this beautiful tracing, only $840,000 (0.2%) is actually frozen, THORChain washed it's hands of it and said sorry we are permissionless we cannot block anyone, and the launderers are now so comfortable they are allegedly accepting orders in public on Discord and Telegram like it's a POS business.

We have caught the thief on-chain, his wallet is boiling up, with 3,386 BTC, but pockets are empty and the coins already in shoki's mixer. This is why we asked yesterday how did he steal them, and today we ask again: can we catch the thief, without catching the stolen money?

this time is going to be different said by someone who knows it's never any different than before and it only gets worse even when you expect it to be different.

I said as it's just beginning of the october and in that entire month there could a lot of things that could go terribly wrong but majority of the time I've had no issue with this month.

It is quite different for me like I've been yearning for October every single year except for what happened in last year has shattered me completely and now I'll be traumatised completely if something like that happened one more time.

The Uptober I want should come soon

We've heard of uptober way too many times that it has started to sound like a fairytale to most who haven't seen it like that yet.

It was way too different back in 2023, back in 2024 that October was peak. I've seen memecoins melting faces, altcoins going up and everything following the seasonality.

So I'd love to see that kind of October repeating and it shouldn't be any different but it seems like it'll be different, something broke that last year October when binance decided to rekt everyone on the floor.

We used to have October and it use to be all sunshine and rainbows but I can't say that anymore if it'll be like that this time

Cause that 10.10.25 is printed wide in my brain and anyone who's been through that day know exactly how hard it was, majority of us couldn't bear those losses and still dealing with those.

Still trying to make up the lost portfolio because of someone's greed and corruption, it has effected the whole market.

So if this time we survive that 10.10 date as you know it'll be first anniversary of that memorable event that's going down in history books than I guess we'll be able to hope again.

The PTSD will kick in

I've been struggling to remember dates that only relates to PTSD so far it's Luna collapse, ftx collapse, 10.10 crash and so much more that I can't exactly tell right now

Cause all my brain can think of is 10.10 with every passing day in getting a little more scared than I was yesterday.

And I think I should be set free from all this PTSD I've grown in all these years that I've spent here, it would've been different for those war soldiers who've made it, or is worse for us? Who've seen these crashes? I can only imagine the horrors we both have to endure that are made entirely by the greed of these man doing greedy things who just want to have more and more wealth everyday. I hope what we'll have in this October will be a different one from the last one.

In Spark shop their are many cards which you can buy with 30k Spark but 30k spark takes much time to complete, you can get the daily Spin in which you got the spark, spark can also be obtained from the frontier mode where you play the battle and at the end you will get some spark.

I was struggling from week to gathered some Spark and buy these cards but now the sad reality here is that only 2 cards are left, Yesterday I Visit to the spark Shop, I see that their are many copy available for these 2 cards, All are sold and now only 2 cards are available but that will also be sold.

Their is only one piece for the melee attacker, I was hoping that I will get this card but I can't do it, may be I miss the range attacker one also because people are buying it day by day and I still need one week to reach my goal.

Use your sparks earned from daily wheel spins to obtain amazing soulbound items!

here you can see that I have already 25k Spark complete, I have left only 5k to reach my goal But don't worry if I am lucky I will get one in the range attacker.

It takes time to get spark daily and reach your goal, I will complete it before but I waster many token on skins and other time but at that time their are Card, may be Splinterlands bring more card which will be very great for only.

Their are very limited Stock for the cards, Their are 9 cards and every card have 200 Stock which is not many for warrior, that why it has been sold quickly in the market.

This is my favorite melee attacker but I think it has been going to sold out only 1 is available and in one day many people complete their 30k and owned the card.

if I am lucky I will hope for this one, this is range attacker cost 9 mana with 2 range attack, 5 health and 3 speed, This unit cost 30k Spark and only 168 copies are available.

people's opinion will always be divided when it comes to whether AI is good or bad, we had the same conversation when crypto became a thing in 2013, it's the same with when every major innovation started taking shape.

One thing is always certain: people will live and die, and the human race will generally evolve through procreation. This is why I think death and tax isn't the only thing that's certain in life, another thing is human evolution, people will always evolve.

Empires will be built, they'll reach a peak, then hit diminishing returns before eventually dying out. There will always be a type of replacement for every sort of human innovation, and sometimes "liking it' is not what everyone will be comfortable with.

The fact that innovative is supposed to be better, faster, cleaner and spell development for the human race isn't exactly a reason for everyone to like it. If evolution was supposed to be better, then history or the preservation of history will honestly not mean anything to anyone.

People will always cling on to what's recognisable, something that feels good and nice, and sometimes, evolution doesn't always come with this.

We had the likes of warren buffet who was a traditional billionaire hate on BTC and crypto entirely, this isn't because he's an all-knowing guy, it's just that the way and manner he made money in a different era feels quite different from the era where money doesn't have to be universally traditional for everyone.

So he didn't dislike crypto because it was a threat to money or because he was a guru, he simply didn't understand it, didn't like it, didn't think it's something that should rival traditional money. I mean he had a lot of money I. Fiat and physical asset, which showed that he was a traditional money man to the core, but it doesn't exactly make him right.

Industries & Replacement

If you look at entertainment at the moment, AI is currently replacing editors, DJs, fashionistas music producers, film makers and so many other things. Whole it's still currently sloppy and not as good, you can definitely read the hand writing on the wall.

AI is trying to automate the process, reduce the time and effort even though it doesn't reduce the cost. In this area, people who learned the craft of traditional film making might hate AI, why?

Because it lets ordinary people who aren't even professionals, produce a level of craft that can even rival what they do and in a very short time. It's the same with when Guns started replacing swords and arrows. One weapon, more collateral damage and in a very short period and quick succession.

Innovations are inevitable

My point is that, there will always be a replacement, and to be honest, no everyone will like it, and we're entitled not to. For example, I don't exactly like how the abuse of AI has reduced opportunities for people.

At the moment, I can categorically analyse how the abuse of AI have stolen money making opportunities for me, but this is it. People will always abuse innovations, because the idea is always to get ahead of your competitors, do better, ship faster and make more money.

People are always looking to abuse whatever edge there are out there, and this is honestly the era we live in.

AI is not the only innovation that will be hated.

I think more human innovations will be hated because it obviously will take away the opportunity from some type of people, give it to some others and even give them more edge, while it seems unfair, it's just generally life.

I've seen the capabilities of AI, and while I can generally not afford it, I think it's safe to say that that edge will keep staying with people who will take out money from other industries and put them into AI, and that's just what it is.

I think this is why everyone should be open minded, except you work a job that requires manual heavy lifting or emotional judgement and presence, it's honestly very important to keep an open mind about AI, and take advantage of it, if you can.
