I am not a photographer <strong><em>(but honestly, I'm dreaming of this job; because why not? 😊😆</em></strong>), and I don't own a powerful camera either. In fact, all the photos were taken using my simple Android phone. Still, I believe that beautiful moments don't always require expensive equipment. The sun was shining brightly, and even standing outside for a few minutes felt exhausting. Despite the heat, I decided to visit an area where I used to feed my neighbor's chickens. Since the weather has been so warm lately, I also gave them some fresh water. Seeing them gather around made me happy because even animals need a little extra care during hot days.</p><p>After that, I looked around and realized that nature was quietly showing its beauty despite the harsh weather. The trees were standing proudly under the bright sunlight, while the plants added different shades of green to the surroundings. To be honest, I did not stay long because the temperature was almost unbearable. The sunlight was strong, creating bright highlights and deep shadows everywhere. Even so, the scenery still looked beautiful through my phone's camera.</p><p>Later, at around 3 PM, I returned to the same place. Although it was still warm, the sunlight felt a little softer compared to noon. This gave me another opportunity to take random photos of the area. I often see him staying there during the afternoon as if it were his personal observation deck. He looked calm and comfortable despite the hot weather. The days in…Sat, 03 Oct 2026 09:04:18 GMT<div><p>Well, I've been through this before: amazing vacations, return to work, a ton of moving parts to juggle, and how much time flew by in the meanwhile??</p> <center>  </center><p>The days in this paradise seemed to stretch longer, time went by slower. It's said times flies when you're having fun (and I surely was), but the overall mood in these islands was more in line with no hurries whatsoever.</p> <center>  </center><p>Maybe it was the landscape, that reminded me of some parts of rural Portugal that welcome the lazy moods.</p> <center>  </center><p>Or maybe the general holiday feeling where you want to see a lot of stuff, but you know that you can take all the time you want, especially when you're wandering by yourself with no fixed timetable.</p> <center>  </center><p>Bringing back some of these memories in a #monomad challenge seem a pretty good fit. White streets filled with bouganvillea, with the blue doors and windows to go with it; the typical cycladic island colours, definitely postcard-worthy.</p> <center>  </center><p>Some viewpoints even give you a perfect view of a typical town, with the crystal blue sea nearby contrasting with the white houses.</p> <center>  </center><p>Also the little details that you discover when you venture through the narrow streets, and get lost in the maze of the old parts of the towns; exploration here feels awesome: tiny shops, lazy cats, amazing typical restaurants.</p> <center>  </center><p>And although the beaches are better appreciated in full colours, because the clarity of this blue is a sight to behold, even in monochromes it's easy to see where the Greek islands get the reputation of being little beach paradises.</p> <center>  </center><p>So many islands, so little time. I've only visited but three of them, and it was enough to get a glimpse of how life in the cycladic islands is... but there's so much to explore still, that I'm pretty sure this won't be my last visit.</p> <p>See you soon, Greece!</p> <center></center><center></center><p>Still haven't joined Splinterlands? I need to upload most of them today because there are so many I urgently need to publish to fulfill my obligations to the publishers; I’m currently uploading three videos a day just to clear that backlog quickly. It might not look great, but right now I really just need to plug the gaps fast. So, I’m just trying to get it done quickly.</p> <p>I’ll switch back to a less frequent posting schedule later, but right now I need to post a lot and often to finally get all the material out there and wrap this up. I have to upload three clips a day just to get everything posted and finally settle my debts with the publishers. Once this whole thing is wrapped up, I’ll finally be able to breathe a little easier.</p> <p>In the meantime, I still have a large number of videos left to film and then upload immediately after. There’s no way to stop working right now; everything has to keep moving at a fast pace. So, the process is ongoing—and moving quickly.</p> <p>Next week, I also have that book club meeting—the one that was rescheduled from last week but got pushed back another week because of the administrator. I have absolutely no desire to go, but I have to.
