Education is the right of everyone, every kid deserve to get education but some parents doesn't afford the fee's and other dues of the school or educate system. But every parent wants to get educated their kids and so there are many ways to getting education. Some are very useful and very common while some are very rare but getting education for those who are poor are really very tough.

Getting student loans!!!

I belong to Pakistan and i never heard about it about the student loans in Pakistan, or maybe it's very rare that i don't know about it but still in some cities student getting loans for studies. If I talk about the world wide then student loans could be best if students doesn't have to pay debt throughout the life.

As getting education doesn't only benefited to a student but if the student stamd on a good job and serve the country then it's benefited for students and country both. As students are the future of our country and we shouldn't make too kuch burden on them that they've to pay debt for many years after getting education because as a employee they already serve you as a purpose.

An alternative for giving loan's!!

I think there is an alternative of giving scholarship to only those students who can not afford their studies that they'll receive a package with low fee's and low dues or those students can get a relief to submit their fee's in installments as in this case their fee's will be pay our till they end out their courses.

How this system works in Pakistan?

Although education system of Pakistan has some flaw's and the main problem is that even the graduate holders doesn't find a suitable job but government trying something for students that they could be educated. We've many scholarship here which are mostly on merit Base that not only for government sectors but also applicable to private institute too.

I still remember that my Dad always used to said tried to get good mark's so that you could get a scholarship but this doesn't only for poor as this is all for kind of students and it's such a big relief because I also got scholarship which lesser my fee's.

A new helping scheme!!

I think it's been two to three years, government launched a new scheme here that if you have three kids going to school than you've to fill the form and giving an application then government give Money to each student but after every three months. I know that money doesn't ok or more but it helps to get them too many things. I know the scheme is working and student getting money for their education but let's see for how many time it'll lasted.

Final thoughts!

In my opinion, giving loan's to student isn't a good option especially when they've to pay debt because students are your future and you should give them a relief. Personally here people think that learning a skill is better then education because they see their elders can't get good job even after graduation in good subjects so you should give a relief to those who want to be educated.

A Little Flower, A Big Meaning💐

Today, I received a flower from my little nephew for Teachers’ Day, and honestly, it made me smile more than I expected.

It was just a simple flower, but knowing that he gave it to me because I am studying to become a teacher made it feel special. I’m still a student, still learning, and still trying to figure out what kind of teacher I want to be someday. I haven’t experienced having my own classroom yet, but little moments like this somehow make the dream feel a little more real.

As an Education student, I sometimes think about how challenging teaching can be. There are lessons to prepare, activities to make, learners to understand, and so many things to learn along the way. There are also times when I question myself if I can really do it.

But today, this little flower reminded me that becoming a teacher is not only about teaching lessons. It is also about making children feel seen, appreciated, and cared for.

Maybe my nephew did not realize how meaningful his simple gift was to me. For him, it might just be a flower. For me, it became a small reminder of why I am still here, learning and preparing for the profession I chose.

I’m not a teacher yet, but this Teachers’ Day, I got a little glimpse of how special it feels to be appreciated as one. 🌷

In the year I’ve spent at university so far, I rarely visit the campus unless I have a specific class or lab to attend. Since I live off-campus—having not yet secured a spot in the university halls—I don't go there unnecessarily. Most of our academic buildings are ten or twelve stories high; the one where my classes are held has twelve floors. I had heard the rooftop was a beautiful spot, yet in all this time, I had never actually been up there. They say it feels great to stand atop a high-rise and look out over this mechanical city. Given the immense mental pressure students face during university life, a bit of refreshment is certainly needed. We usually get a thirty-minute break after every two classes. But honestly, most of the time, we spend that break taking class tests or quizzes, or another professor comes in to hold a class. That brief respite never really feels like a break; we just end up settling in for the next class.

Just a few days ago, I suddenly found out that one of our classes was cancelled. Everyone was overjoyed—it felt just like childhood, as if a burden had been lifted. I didn't feel like studying in the classroom, nor did I want to go outside. A friend suggested we go to the rooftop. Since I’d never been there before, I thought I’d take a look and see what the atmosphere was like. Our classes are held on the ninth floor, so the roof is just two floors up. We walked up there together. Honestly, it felt wonderful once we arrived. There is a unique joy in gazing at the city's towering buildings from such a height, surrounded by a peaceful, quiet atmosphere and the fresh breeze of nature. It felt almost like a bird's-eye view of the city.

Once on the roof, I noticed several rooms surrounding the area where various administrative activities take place. One thing I really appreciated was the safety measure: the rooftop railing—or the high iron barricade—was set back at least two arm-lengths from the edge, ensuring no one could accidentally fall off. It was a wonderful experience. I had never been up to a rooftop this high before—this was likely the first time I had climbed to a roof above the twelfth floor. The view of the entire city of Gazipur from up there was magnificent, and the cool natural breeze was incredibly refreshing. Standing on one side, the whole city lay before us, while the other side offered a view of the campus grounds and the residence halls. The two of us took quite a few photos and chatted about various things while standing there; it was a truly pleasant time.

We spent over twenty minutes on the roof before heading back to the classroom, as I had a class with another professor next. In truth, taking short breaks during study sessions is essential to refresh the mind. Doing anything continuously isn't ideal; it is better to approach everything—whether it’s academics or life’s contemplations—at a measured pace. I wanted to share this moment spent on the rooftop between classes with all of you. I hope you enjoyed reading about it. Stay well and healthy, everyone. Supporting Students Without Ignoring Others

When I think of student loans the first thing that I have in my mind is my two daughters. They are still young and I have no idea what they intend to do with their lives. They might go to university or they might do something else. And I want to give them the best I can. I do not particularly appreciate the idea of taking a huge loan for education. I have seen the problems people have when they have outstanding debts. You can never look at a loan like that and forget about it because you will have to think of a way to clear it every month. If there is any interest attached to it then it can keep growing.

In my country Bangladesh where I have seen that students arenot in the same boat as those in other countries who take huge loans for their studies. However, families have to take loans so that their children can continue with their studies in institutions. Now imagine if the government announced that all student loans were to be cleared. My immediate reaction would be joy. I would feel relieved it would be a significant way of helping my daughter get her life on track because a large education loan was weighing her down and this feeling would not last long.

Who would bear the cost if the government decided to clear all student loans in Bangladesh? I would have to pay more tax to offset the amounts cleared by the government. So would many other people who may not have taken a student loan. There are many parents who are saving up and work over time only to make sure their children's education was not compromised. So I won't be able to ignore this fact.

I am in my 50s now and I think of different things compared to when I was younger. That time I thought about was how I could make a quick money by any means necessary. Now I think of the impact something could have on my family in the long term. If my daughters ever have to take a financial loan to further their education then I will be there for them financially. Also I would never ask another person to do the same without considering personal circumstances. I feel there should be a way to help those individuals whose personal circumstances aren't that good and if they can't meet their educational costs.

I think poor families shoulbe prioritized they could be granted more time before they are due to repay. I find that much more important and I am not saying that people should simply be left alone to deal with outstanding debts for something as important as education. But we can't say that clearing all student loans is a good move because I will ultimately have to pay more taxes. If I have to pay more taxes for the move then I would want to know more about how the money is being spent and who is benefiting from it.

Anyway, I hope my daughter's succeed in life. And I am a citizen too so I also have to think of other people's children. In the end I would say if I have to pay more taxes to offset the debt then I wouldn't accept it unless it has any facilities for us.

Desde pequeños siempre nos han metido esta idea en la cabeza o por lo menos a mí, yo era muy buena alumna en el colegio y en la universidad y hasta cierto punto si me sacaba una mala calificación, me ponía triste y básicamente me consideraba como alguien tonta.

Pero luego de haber visto, escuchado y leído tantas cosas, esa impresión mía fue cambiando. Por ejemplo, en la universidad al realizar mi pasantía en una entidad del gobierno me fijé que estudiar mucho y obtener varios títulos no define ni asegura que tengas un buen trabajo con un gran sueldo.

Esta entidad ayudaba a los jóvenes a conseguir su primer trabajo o a generar su propio emprendimiento, algunos súper nerviosos, otros muy confiados. Pero algo que era más valioso que haber estudiado tanto era la experiencia.

Jóvenes que ya habían trabajo quizá hasta durante sus estudios, eso era lo que más valoraban las empresas y no les daban la oportunidad a quienes solo se dedicaban a estudiar. Por otro lado, también empecé a escuchar que varios profesionistas no estaban ejerciendo sus carreras porque no había empleo y en consecuencia se dedicaban a hacer cosas muy distintas, como ser choferes de taxi, vendedores u otras actividades que quizá eran más demandadas por el mercado.

Es por eso que surgió la opción de este programa de empleo, generar primeras experiencias laborales para los jóvenes y que así les sea más fácil conseguir en un futuro más empleos, pero ahí surgía también otro problema.

Las empresas no te tomaban porque no tenías experiencia, pero tú al querer ganar experiencia no podías conseguirla porque nadie te contrataba, parece ser siempre un círculo vicioso del cual no puedes salir. Por eso apareció también el programa de apoyo a emprendedores, los jóvenes podían crear su negocio y aprender de administración y negocios para poder sostenerlo.

Como yo apoyaba en esta área, veía de todo, desde currículums gordos bien documentados hasta la mitad de una plana con información. Lo que también pude ver es los tipos de personas que eran, quizá no de forma profunda, pero al menos me hacía una idea.

En algunos casos no importaba tanto los estudios, sino que ya supieran hacer las cosas, en otros que tuvieran esa energía o motivación para trabajar. O también los que sabían venderse muy bien sin importar el tamaño de su CV.

El problema del desempleo es muy complicado y más en países de Latam. Como les decía, a muchas personas nos criaron pensando que lo mejor era tener buenas notas, ser buen alumno, eso a su vez, te ayudaría a entrar a una buena universidad y luego tener un buen trabajo.

Y obviamente no es así, pueden pasar un sinfín de cosas, puedes esforzarte al máximo y no tener ese destino, o ser un vago en clases y al final tener un gran trabajo y mucho dinero.

Esto va más allá de una simple calificación, un cartón, un certificado, tiene que ver con la persona, sus emociones, sus pensamientos, su comportamiento. Todo lo interno que ocurre y que puede estar floreciendo, quebrado o simplemente pasando por un momento complicado.

En un post anterior había hablado sobre lo importante que es enseñar a los hijos a valerse por sí mismos, pero dándoles las herramientas necesarias. Por ejemplo, cursos de oratoria, emprendimiento o ahorro, que serían mucho más provechosos para su futuro.

Obviamente hablo desde mi experiencia, pero después de haber visto tantas cosas, caí en la cuenta de todo esto.

Así que la próxima vez que te digan que lo mejor es sacarse buenas notas, no te estreses por eso, mejor preocúpate más por comprender la materia, lo esencial, y si realmente ves que te cuesta aprender sobre algo puedes conseguir ayuda de alguien o también buscar en internet y con la IA, porque esas herramientas pueden ayudarte a aprender de forma más simple.

Student Loans: A Lifeline or a Debt Trap?

Students' loans, just as the words said, literally mean loans given to students to fund their education, and to be honest, in my opinion, it's a great initiative that helps everyone regardless of their parents' financial capability to get access to getting educated and ultimately gives them a chance at life. Yes, I understand that many don't buy this ideal because they feel education ought to be free through all levels of education, and I concur with that, but then, beggars are no choosers. If the government are unwilling to make education free, then we shouldn't deprive ourselves of the loan opportunity present to get educated. I know the term loan is scary, especially when we think about the interest and how to pay back when you've graduated.

The truth is that I've heard a lot about student loans, especially when I was an undergraduate. I read about them being established in different countries, even top world nations like the United States, and then I used to blame our government for now introducing the same in the nation to give every child an opportunity to get educated to the highest level without facing the drawbacks of financial support from their family. However, despite how amazing it seems to the eyes, I can't forget that I also read about its downside and read a lot about how many in the United States end up using their whole life paying back the loan, long after they've graduated, and to be honest, this is quite discouraging.

Fortunately, the same was introduced in Nigeria two years ago, and lots of students have benefitted from it. I remember seeing lots of graduates print on their t-shirts after signing out, appreciating their parents and net fund for the privilege to graduate without worrying about the financial aspects of getting educated. To be this amazing, because I can vividly remember lots of my friends and coursemates who had to withdraw from school back in the day because they nor their parents had the financial capability to sponsor their education, so if the government is eradicating that financial barrier through loans, then I think it's a plus.

However, the biggest concern is the term loan and the repayment, because it won't be ideal for the government to say they provide solutions, and in the end the solution is becoming a trap that holds one in a circle of loan repayment for years. Well, the good thing about that od Nigeria netfund is that the policy said it's an interest-free loan and that you only need to start paying back once you start working, and thirdly, it's only 10% of your salary that'll be deducted monthly until you've paid everything off, and in my opinion, I think that's a reasonable means that shouldn't burden one after graduating from school.

But in the advent that such students loan compound interest, then I won't buy the ideal, and in the advent that the government promised to clear off all my debt, but I just agreed to an increase in tax for everyone including myself, then I'll say, 'Know, it's my responsibility, and I must be accountable for the loan I took. 'It won't be reasonable for me to want everyone to suffer just because I don't want to be accountable for the loan I took to sponsor my education. After all, no one forced me to take the loan in the first place, so also I shouldn't make everyone pay for my inability to pay back my loan by making them pay more tax as the consequences of my own inability.

No hay mejor aula que el aire libre para despertar la curiosidad y el entusiasmo de los más pequeños. Hoy los niños de tercer grado tuvieron una jornada muy especial: salieron de la rutina del salón tradicional para subir la montaña y recibir su clase de El mundo en que vivimos.

En esta asignatura aprenden sobre la naturaleza, el medio ambiente y todo lo que nos rodea. ¿Y qué mejor lugar para comprender estos temas que la propia montaña, rodeados de vegetación, aire puro y con el mar de fondo?

El recorrido comenzó con una caminata por un sendero inclinado . Con las mochilas a sus espaldas y llenos de energía, los niños avanzaron entre la vegetación local. Cada paso representó una oportunidad para observar de cerca lo que habitualmente leen en los libros de texto: la diversidad de plantas, los diferentes tipos de relieve y el ecosistema costero.

Al llegar a la zona elegida, se acomodaron en el suelo, bajo la sombra de la vegetación, para iniciar la actividad. Armados con sus cuadernos, lápices de colores y dibujos, compartieron ideas y dibujaron los elementos naturales que observaban a su alrededor.

Este tipo de actividades vivenciales aporta múltiples beneficios para los estudiantes:

Conexión con el entorno: Les permite valorar la flora, la fauna y los recursos naturales directamente desde su entorno más cercano.

Trabajo en equipo y convivencia: La caminata y las actividades en grupo fortalecen el compañerismo y la empatía fuera del espacio del aula.
