I'm building real apps with AI now. No team. No big budget. Here's what I've learned so far. 🚀

Start with one clear problem.
Not "an app." One annoying task you repeat every week: a spreadsheet you keep fixing, a form you fill by hand, a report you rebuild every Monday. The smaller the problem, the faster AI gets it right, and the easier it is to tell if it works.
Describe it like you'd explain it to a colleague.
What it does, who uses it, what information it needs to remember, and what should happen when something goes wrong. Plain words beat technical ones. If you can explain it in a minute, AI can build a first version of it.
Test early, fix in small steps.
The first version is never right. That's fine. Click through it like a real user, write down what feels off, and ask for one change at a time. Small changes are easy to check. Big rewrites hide new bugs.
Keep your judgment in the loop.
AI writes the code. You decide what's useful, what's safe, and what ships. Check the data it stores, who can see it, and what happens with wrong inputs. It removes the wait, not the thinking.
Ship, then improve.
A working app in a few hours beats a perfect plan in three months. Put it in front of one real person, watch where they get stuck, and improve from there. Real feedback teaches more than any spec.

The lesson: AI doesn't replace the builder. It shortens the distance between your idea and something you can click.

El CAMINO ABSTRACTO DEL ARTE./ THE ABSTRACT PATH OF ART. (ES/EN)

Querido Hiver!

El Salón Nacional de arte abstracto que se celebra anualmente en la Habana Cuba es una oportunidad magnífica para mostrar todo el potencial que tiene este tipo de expresión. Numerosos artistas de todo el país van participar en esta convocatoria.

Ayer, muy tarde en la noche envié las imágenes de mis obras para que sean valoradas por el Jurado de admisión. Pidieron tres imágenes por artista para seleccionar una de ellas, y esa obra sera la que finalmente represente a cada artista en la muestra expositiva que será presentada al público. Aquí debajo les dejo foto y características de cada una:

Título: El último retrato.

Técnica: Mixta: acrílico, pintura de aceite industrial, pintura acrílica industrial, y resina acrílica sobre lienzo.

Los que me conocen y siguen mis publicaciones saben que estudié escultura en la Universidad de las Artes, pero la pintura es como una pasión Yo pienso que me permite plasmar momentos, estados de emoción, también memorias y muchas otras cosas, con un ritmo de creación diferente al de la escultura que necesita del procesamiento de materiales mucho más duros. Esta es la diferencia entre la pintura y la escultura y esa ágil impronta es lo que me apasiona de la pintura.

Creo que el arte abstracto cubano está en uno de sus mejores momentos. Hay una riqueza formal alucinante entre los diversos estilos de los creadores de todas las provincias. Y por primera vez en la historia del arte nacional, nos hemos unido para validar esta tendencia con una sola y potente voz. Estoy seguro que el próximo salón será un éxito. Ya les contaré....

A la comunidad de Hivers les menciono que está publicación ha sido realizada usando Hove, una nueva aplicación nacida del Talento de desarrolladores cubanos con vasta experiencia en Hive. Me llena de orgullo ver la consagración del equipo cubano y participar entre los primeros en este día de su lanzamiento.

The National Abstract Art Salon, held annually in Havana, Cuba, is a magnificent opportunity to showcase the full potential of this form of expression. Numerous artists from across the country will participate in this event.

Late last night, I submitted images of my artworks for evaluation by the selection jury. They requested three images per artist in order to select one; that chosen piece will ultimately represent each artist in the exhibition presented to the public. Below, I have included a photo and the details for each work:

Those who know me and follow my work are aware that I studied sculpture at the University of the Arts, yet painting is a true passion of mine. I feel it allows me to capture moments, emotional states, memories, and so much more—all with a creative rhythm distinct from that of sculpture, which requires working with much harder materials. That is the difference between the two, and it is that sense of agile, spontaneous expression that makes me so passionate about painting.

¡Hola, comunidad! Estoy de vuelta con una iniciativa que me entusiasma mucho y que considero crucial para el crecimiento de nuestro ecosistema.
