Sometimes Sorry Comes From Pain (Bn-Eng)

Hello friends how are you all I hope you are all doing well I am also doing well. Today I will talk about asking for forgiveness. I have seen many people who keep saying sorry again and again for no reason. I had many questions about this before because this thing seemed unusual to me. If someone has not done anything wrong then why is there a need to ask for forgiveness? I had a female friend who used to say sorry whenever something happened. One day I asked her what happened why are you saying sorry so much then she replied that it was her fault so she was saying sorry. Then I said that she did not do anything wrong so why was she saying sorry but no matter how much I talked to her I saw that she kept blaming herself and I understood that she had a mental trauma because of which she thinks that way.

I think people should not give someone so much pain that they have to suffer with it for their whole life. One day I was asking her a personal question and then she also told me that her stepmother used to only find faults with her and blame her because of which she became mentally weak and she still thinks that it is her fault so she needs to say sorry. When she was little and did not want to say sorry her stepmother used to hold her and beat her and her father did nothing. So my friend grew up in a lot of pain. After hearing about her pain tears came to my eyes because how can a person do these things to a child? So what if she was a stepmother? Does someone else's child not seem like a human being to her? And when she came after getting married she already knew that her husband had a child from his previous marriage and still got married so was it necessary to torture the child like this?

I think such people should get strict punishment. Anyway I understand my friend's trauma so now I explain to her that it is not her fault what she is doing she is doing what her mind wants to do that does not mean that she has done something bad and she has the right to do anything as long as she is not hurting anyone. I have also told her that there is no need to say sorry and it is not always going to be her fault. I often give her advice and try to make her understand. It is not like she understood immediately after I explained it to her obviously these things take a lot of time. I would say if you have a friend like this around you then definitely help them with your help they will be able to live a normal life because saying sorry for no reason like this is not a normal thing. We should not believe in overthinking because it is a problem but, gradually with time it can become our habit and definately it is a bad habit. More Than Just a Blockchain - What Hive Gave Me

Hello everyone,
How are you all? I hope everyone is fine and doing great in their life.

For a lot of people, Hive blockchain might be a place to earn money, build connections, play games, and take part in many other activities. People might come here for a particular reason, but eventually, Hive can become much more than what they originally came here for.

When I started using Hive blockchain, my core purpose was to earn money. I was already married, had a son, and was looking for ways to earn from different sources. Hive was one of those sources.

But as time passed, I realized that Hive was much more than just a place to create content and earn money. My perspective changed completely.

It has been three months since I last wrote anything here, and honestly, I am writing this today because I missed it. I am not here for the money anymore. I already have a job, and I will talk more about that later in this blog. Right now, I am here simply because I was missing writing on Hive, and I really want to try my best to become active here again.

One of the biggest things Hive gave me was connections.

People like @bhattg , @catharsis , @zahidsun , and many others have become very close friends of mine. Especially catharsis and zahidsun, with whom I now spend a lot of time every day. Our connection has gone beyond Hive as well. We talk on WhatsApp, keep each other updated about what is happening in our lives, and have become a part of each other's day-to-day lives.

So I would not say that Hive has only impacted my online life in a good way. It has also had a very positive impact on my offline life.

And there is an even bigger reason why I say that.

The job I am doing right now has a major connection with Hive blockchain.

Today, I work as an AI content strategist, Web3 content creator, and growth hacker for a startup from New York. All of this became possible because of the experience I gained through the content I created on Hive.

When I talked about how I had written thousands of blogs, how much I knew about blockchain, and the experience I had in the Web3 space, all of that came from years of learning and creating content.

Someday Is Not a Day of the Week, and I Stopped Treating It Like One

I had a list. Not written down formally but existing clearly in my mind. Things i was going to do someday. Places i was going to see. Conversations i was going to have. The book i was going to read, the skill i was going to learn, the person i was going to properly reconnect with before too much time made it strange.

The list was long. The somedays kept accumulating and none of them were converting into actual days with actual dates attached.

I noticed the list got revisited regularly, always with the same conclusion, which was that the time was not quite right yet but it would be. That the conditions would align. That once the current busy period resolved i would have the space to actually do the things on it.

The busy period did not resolve. There was always another one behind it. That is just how time works when you are not being deliberate about it. The urgent fills every available space if you let it, and someday never has enough urgency to compete.

There was a person on that list. Someone i had been meaning to visit for almost two years. Who had come up in my thoughts regularly enough that the thought itself felt like action, like thinking about calling was almost as good as calling.

They moved abroad before i made the visit. Not dramatically, not forever, just in a way that converted what would have been a two hour drive into a logistics project. The window closed without announcing it was closing.

That taught me more about someday than anything else has.

Someday is not protective. It does not hold the thing in place while you get around to it. Time moves regardless of your intention to do something with it eventually. People move. Circumstances change. Windows close quietly while you are busy waiting for the right conditions to act.

Pick one thing on your someday list. Give it a date. An actual date, not a vague intention.

Do that one thing. Then another.

Someday is not coming on its own. It only comes when you decide today is the day it starts.

My 30-Minute Market Trip That Turned To 3 Hours

Okay you know in a situation where you already have a thought or believe that you’re going somewhere and you want to use up to an hour or 30 minutes and you later find yourself using almost 3 hours that is how the life in Lagos can actually be an, especially if you are going on a trip to the market you can never be sure of what you meet there. Lagos is really a busy place and I should be able to know better that the market trip is not going to be a quick journey but the last one I went was actually different because I wanted to get some food stuff which my friend will be using to make the meal.

So I had to trek to be able to get to the market because I do not want to waste money for transportation before getting to where I want to and the day I was talking about is a weekend where most people won’t go to work and actually it is going to be very tight around early hour of the day. The market is already full with a lot of people trying to get things and different noise from different traders and also those who are trying to buy something it was a very loud voice from different people, also different music were playing from different stores.

So normally anytime I go to the market. I always put my phone or things that I know are very precious to me. So on this day I was moving along the crowd and different people are just hitting each other body and if you’re not conscious or vigilant a lot of things will be stolen from you and you will not be able to know who exactly took it because it is a crowded area and you cannot challenge anybody.

I got the spot where I want to get some pepper and other spices and I checked through what I needed and everything was present and even though the price is a little bit high, but I understand the economy that it is somehow, so after getting everything I needed at that particular place I calculated everything and it was a bit high though I did not have choice and it’s time for payment. I checked my wallet but I could not find my phone since it is transfer i will make.

Due to my impatient, I started panicking not knowing the phone was still with me and under my armpit, but I could not remember when I put it there not only for me to let her find out that the phone was in my armpit for a while after I got to the place I wanted to get those things I will be needing to cook and that moment I actually made up my mind that the phone has gone not know also if the phone has been in another place I’m at actually not also see it since I did not put my mind dear that it is not in my wallet again, only for me to find it in the armpit.

If you’re not strong enough to stay with crowd should stay away from going to market especially a crowdy one because you will surely lose something

Plants I Love and Gaming Rising Star

There are various trees, flowers, and Gamone plants in the zoo.
I am a fan of Gamone plants, so if I see Gamone flowers, I definitely look for them.

I also saw Dracaena Fragrans (LuckyWood) plants that I had grown at home for a while, scattered all over the Zoo.

Along one of the walkways, LuckyWood plants were planted in rows on both sides.
I was so impressed that I took a photo of them.

In one place, I saw a vine that looked like a Money Plant.
The large leaves were beautiful with yellow and green stripes.
After looking closely, I thought it was a Elephant Gamone (Epipremnum aureum).

I saw some Aglaonema plants somewhere.
I don't know the exact name.
But as a lover of Aglaonema, I think this plant is beautiful.

The plants mentioned above are said to bring good luck in business and purify the air according to the Feng Shui Gambira concept.

Hive To The World; The Impact Of Hive On My Digital Life

It will interest you to know that Hive is the first blogging platform I have interacted with, and it will fascinate you the more to know that I am not leaving no matter what life turns out to be.

I have interacted with the likes of Facebook, X, WhatsApp, 2go and Instagram, but I can only talk about the fun and company I derived from them.

Apart from chatting and the information I get, I can't talk about any positive impact. In fact, those platforms have been the one benefiting more from me; the time I give, the money I use to subscribe in order to be active and so on.

If not that some of the policies on those platforms have been updated lately, things like spamming, content theft, and poor content creation are almost normal.

But it's quite the opposite on Hive Blockchain, I will be honest, Hive is one of the strict Blockchain I have seen in my life.

The goal is not just building a community of people who create content but quality and originality is a major criteria.

This is why AI usage is highly frowned upon. I have seen people receive punishment for violating certain rules and I can say that wherever they find themselves, they would always be careful.

Being groomed from such a community, my mindset adjusted to fit in. If it's not authentic, don't bring it my way.

And the same applies to me, I can not give out what is not original, I rather stay away and wait until I have something to offer.

Another crucial thing Hive taught me is qualitative engagement. One of the things that keeps every community alive is supporting each other.

It might not necessarily come in the form of incentives alone but giving encouraging feedback; things like that helps content gain visibility. But in a situation where engagement is lacking, the community dies eventually.

Hive has positively impacted me that I carry the engagement spirit to Facebook and X, sometimes I don't even write any content but just go about engaging with others.

I might not get anything in return, and sometimes the person might not even respond to my comment, but it's my own way of showing love and contributing to the system.

Through engagement on Hive, I have made numerous friends, some that I now called “family” and you know what? We've not even met yet.

Hive is not just a blogging Blockchain, it's a school, home and family.

How Has Hive Changed My Online Life? - Indiaunited Contest

I'm just starting, my account is just two months and I've learned a lot here. Though it's not every day that I'm that consistent but Hive is gradually turning me to a content creator. I'm being asked a lot of questions and I really am grateful for so many challenges of communities that I can join where I get to talk about myself.

This propels me to write something. So whenever I'm having a blocked mind on what to write or I don't even know what to write, the communities contest that comes weekly comes in handy at that point in time. So I get to just flow with them.

Then I write my own version of the prompt and it becomes a story and it keeps my blog working on. So that's a very good one. Another thing I've come to notice is that I'm now more interested in crypto, in finance, in the price in the market.

There is a lot of things that have also changed and I have to get data to post whereas before if I don't have any internet data I can decide to just leave it cool for the day. But now I have to get data because if I have something I want to post and the contest is ending in the next one or two days, there are some platforms like that that runs contests for just two days. So I have to be up and running.

Then another thing is creating images. Before I don't really know how to create impressive images but now I do thanks to Hive. There are also some things that I'm doing outside of Hive but that is not the question so I wouldn't even be going into that.

The ideology of explaining my thoughts and organizing them together is what Hive has really made me to and the most beautiful part is that I am so sure that if I continue this way for the next two to three months or by the end of this year, I'm going to become a badass content creator, very good at what I do. I am so much looking up to that. Then another thing is I'm going through the platform and seeing so many front-end like PeakD, Inleo, ecency and so many.

The point is this, I don't really know how to even post on so many of them. I remember that I jumped on one scrobble life one time and I tried to even log in. I can't even find a place I'm going to go in so I just have to turn back and keep using the one that I'm conversant with.

Hive has made me to be an explorer. I want to know how this one works, how that one works, how did this people do this here, what can actually go viral and bring more comments and followers and I'm so happy that some of my content are bringing more followers and comments which keeps the content engaging and that's impressive.

Hive is much more focused on conversation, actual conversation.

It's not all about you having something to say, the real deal is that you have to put it together and make sure that it's well arranged. There are also some features on this hive or on so many front-end I don't even understand and I've not even put my thoughts together to understand it. I'm still a newcomer so there are a lot of things that I need to know and do and I'm so happy that I was able to share with just one person who joined the platform two days ago.

YOU'RE NOT BEING BLUNT; YOU'RE INSENSITIVE

I honestly get tired of people who say hurtful things and then hide behind “I’m just being blunt.”
You tell someone, “You’ve added so much weight. What happened to you?”
You embarrass someone over their mistake in front of everybody.
You make a nasty comment about someone’s marriage, appearance, job, or finances.Then when their face changes, you say:“Ah ah, don’t be angry. I’m just being honest.”huh?
Sometimes you're not being honest.
You're just being insensitive.

BLUNTNESS IS NOT AN EXCUSE TO BE CRUEL WITH YOUR WORDS;

In Nigeria, we sometimes even celebrate this behaviour. Someone can insult you from head to toe and people will laugh and say, “That's just how she is. She doesn't know how to keep things to herself.”
But imagine being the person on the receiving end.

You don't know what someone is already battling privately. That person you just mocked might have spent the entire night crying. The person you're calling lazy might be struggling with something you know nothing about. The person you're embarrassing over a mistake may already feel like a failure.
And no, I'm not saying we should lie to people just to protect their feelings.

Tell the truth. Correct people. Give honest opinions.
But there is a way to say the truth without deliberately making someone feel small.
Because being blunt is not the same as being rude.
Sometimes kindness is not about what you say.It's about knowing how to say it, when to say it, and whether it even needs to be said.

So before you proudly say, “I'm just a blunt person,” ask yourself one thing:
Are you really blunt, or have you simply never learned how to speak without hurting people?
