Hey, today is a politics day and I say this cuz in the following set of pictures we can see how I was intimidating a Liberty City senator that was trying to stablish new anti-tobacco and liquor policies that clearly cound affect the buisness of our boss for the moment, Jonnie, y'know the owner of a big Bar in the Red Light District. So, the fat slob asked us that go behind the senator limousine in order to catch and intimidate him and make him forget those attempts to introduce such new policies in the city.

Kona's Coffee is a popular Hawaiian themed cafe in Japan. The restaurant we went in looked like an old house. There were souvenirs that can be bought inside for tourists who may want to bring home some memorable items. The food is American, mostly burgers. I ordered Mahi mahi fish burger and fries. For drinks, iced coffee. It was a pleasant late dinner.

Con motivo de esta celebración las danzas donde baila mi pequeña fue invitada para el día viernes donde coronaria la madrina de la institución y cantarían cumpleaños a la institución.

Mi pequeña estaba súper emocionada porque bailarina en su escuela y sus amiguitos la verían bailar, así pues este día estás lindas princesas abrieron la actividad con un hermoso vals de antaño. El traje era precioso acompañado de un hermoso paraguas rosa, la actuación fue preciosa, ella se sintió feliz y yo súper orgullosa de ella, y de todo el grupo.

Greetings, my dear and cherished friends. I hope you all have a happy and blessed day. I wanted to tell you that this week we celebrated the 80th anniversary of the school in my town—a lovely school that my relatives, my parents, I, and now my children have all attended.
As part of this celebration, my little girl’s dance group was invited to perform on Friday, when the school’s patroness would be crowned and everyone would sing “Happy Birthday” to the school.

My little girl was so excited because she’s a dancer at her school and her little friends would get to see her perform. So, on this day, these lovely little princesses opened the event with a beautiful old-fashioned waltz.
Her costume was gorgeous, paired with a beautiful pink umbrella; the performance was lovely. She was happy, and I was so proud of her—and of the whole group.

What you won't find — because it doesn't exist — is surveillance. No cookies. No trackers. No stored IP addresses. No names. Visitors are counted, never identified. Fronts that were never claimed record nothing at all.

Network value: the number that knows who grows liketu

Every social platform eventually faces the same question: who is actually making this place better?

The loud answers are easy to find. Follower counts. Vote totals. Payouts. On Hive the question gets harder, because stake bends every one of those signals — one whale vote can outweigh a hundred humans, a tight circle of alts can manufacture the appearance of a thriving community, and the person quietly welcoming every newcomer shows up nowhere in the numbers.

We run @liketu as a curation account. Every vote we cast is a small statement about what we think the network should reward. For a long time that statement was made the way everyone makes it — part data, part instinct, part whoever happened to be visible that day. We wanted something better: one honest number per account that answers "how much does this person grow the network?" — and a system that lets us act on it.

We call it LNV — liketu network value. It has been computing daily in production since late June: every run scores the full cohort of liketu creators (386 accounts in the latest run) across a 90-day window, over a real interaction graph of 89,872 weighted edges built from on-chain votes, replies, and realized HBD. This post is about how it works, how it steers our voting, and why we think it points at something bigger than curation.

The founding observation is simple: on a social network, value is not a property of a person — it's a property of their connections. Attention, appreciation, and money all flow along edges: a vote, a reply, an HBD payout, a new user showing up because someone brought them.

This is not an illustration. It's the actual top of the liketu graph from the July 1 scoring run — every line is a real relationship made of replies, votes, and HBD flowing between two creators over 90 days. Thicker lines carry more realized value.

Once you see the network this way, the right measure of a person stops being "how big are their numbers" and becomes "how much genuine flow passes through them, from how many independent directions?"

That framing comes with a classic tool: eigenvector centrality — the same family of math as Google's PageRank. The intuition fits in one sentence: you matter when people who matter engage with you. A reply from someone the network genuinely values counts for more than ten drive-by votes from empty accounts, and the definition is beautifully recursive — their value was earned the same way. We compute it with a sparse power iteration over the edge graph, where each edge is weighted by what actually moved across it: realized HBD, distinct replies, distinct posts voted.

the anatomy of the score

Centrality alone isn't enough — it tells you about position, not behavior. So LNV is a weighted blend of six components, each normalized 0–100 across the cohort, each measuring one distinct way a person grows the network:

Engagement received (35%) — the heart of the score. Votes and replies your posts attract, where who engages matters: each interaction is multiplied by the engager's importance (0.5×–3.0×), replies count more than votes, and everything decays with time.

Onboarding (22%) — people you bring who become genuinely active. Not referral clicks: a referred account only earns you credit by actually posting within two weeks, surviving beyond a month, and attracting real engagement of their own. A hundred farmed signups that never post are worth almost exactly zero.

Centrality (13%) — your position in the graph above.

Consistency (12%) — showing up. Active weeks across the window, because a network is built by people who are still here on week ten.

Views (10%) — real impressions from the liketu apps, not a proxy. We instrumented actual viewability — a post has to be genuinely on screen (≥50% visible for ≥1 second) from an authenticated viewer to count, and viewers are value-weighted too. This signal is young and honest about it: its weight ramps in automatically as coverage grows. In the current window it's already built on 34,544 real impressions across 173 creators.

Engagement given (8%) — being a good citizen. Voting and replying to others counts, but deliberately can't carry you to the top alone.

The final score isn't quite a weighted sum — it's a weighted sum multiplied by integrity gates, and that distinction is where most of the design lives.

Shape: search photos the way you remember them

The most powerful image search on Hive — and it gets sharper every single day.

Most search is basically reading over your shoulder. When you look for a photo, it isn't looking at photos at all — it's scanning the words underneath them. The title. The tags. The caption the photographer happened to type. If nobody wrote "golden hour," you'll never find that golden-hour shot, no matter how perfectly the light falls.

Shape doesn't work like that. Shape looks at the picture.

Every photo published on liketu gets read by Shape — not the words around it, the actual image. The light. The color. The composition. The mood. Who or what is in the frame, and how it's framed. Shape turns all of that into something it can search, so when you go looking, you're searching the photography itself — not the description someone may or may not have bothered to write.

That one difference is why Shape is the most powerful image search we've ever put in your hands. Here's what it actually feels like to use.

What it feels like

Type what you're picturing. Describe the shot in your head — "misty mountains at sunrise," "a quiet street café in the rain," "bold red against concrete" — and Shape finds photos that look like that. Not photos that contain those words. Photos that match the feeling. The photographer never had to use your language; Shape understood the image on its own.

Search with a photo. Have an image you love? Drop it in. Shape finds its closest visual cousins across the whole community — same energy, same palette, same composition — in about a second.

Follow a creator's eye. Love how someone shoots? Shape can surface work that feels like theirs, even from creators you've never heard of. It's the fastest way we know to fall down a beautiful rabbit hole.

Then refine. See something close? Say "more like this, but warmer," "but no people," "at night" — and Shape adjusts. It feels less like querying a database and more like talking to someone with very good taste.

So why is it this accurate?

When Shape reads a photo, it doesn't slap a few keywords on it. It converts the image into a kind of mathematical fingerprint — a long list of coordinates that capture what the photo is actually about. Two photos that feel alike end up with fingerprints that sit close together. Two that feel nothing alike sit far apart. It's a map of meaning, and every photo on liketu has a place on it.

Here's the clever part: your words live on the same map. When you type "golden hour on a misty ridge," Shape drops that sentence onto the very same map the photos live on — then simply looks at what's nearby. So a phrase and a picture can be compared directly, even though one is made of language and one is made of light. That's why Shape isn't thrown off by a missing caption, a wrong tag, or a different language. It isn't matching letters. It's matching meaning.

That's the whole leap from old search to Shape: keyword search asks "did someone write this word?" Shape asks "does this photo mean what you mean?"

And it only gets better as we grow

Here's the part we love most. A search like this gets more accurate as the community gets bigger — the exact opposite of feeling crowded.

Think back to the map. Every new photo published is a new point on it. The more photos there are, the denser the map gets — and the denser the map, the closer the nearest match is to whatever you're picturing. With a few thousand photos, the closest thing to your idea might be "pretty close." With millions, there's almost certainly a photo sitting right on top of the exact vibe in your head. Every creator who joins, every shot that goes up, doesn't just add content — it sharpens every search that comes after it.

So Shape isn't a feature that ships and stalls. It compounds. The liketu you search next year will be measurably better at finding your photo than the one you search today — with zero effort from you. The community does the work just by being itself.

That's the idea. Stop searching captions. Start searching photographs.
