Splinterlands - Advancing to Division 8 in Champion

Hello everyone, have a nice day and good battles. In this new season, in the modern ranked I decided to play in the Champion league. After many difficult battles, I managed to reach division 8, so I got some free loot chests :D

I got exactly, 8 minor, 8 major and 2 ultimate chests. I got one epic, 4 rare cards and 11 common cards. I also got 5 alchemy potions and a total of 1400 merits. In addition, I got 5 energy.

The undead, Wailsworn Specter is good because of her bloodline tribute ability, which allows her, when defeated, to grant +1 magic attack power to all her undead allied units. That's why is more useful , when the Shapeshift modifier ability is active, which allows all units to be treated as all bloodlines.

And the epic, avian, Voss, also has the bloodline tribute ability. Great in the shapeshift modifier.

As you can appreaciate, I have all of my epic cards from the conclave arcana reward set at the max level. So I really hope to get some gold and legendaries that I really need in my next loot chests. I wish you the best of luck and, as always, have fun playing Splinterlands.

Greetings everyone!

Hope so everyone of you guys have seen the update of splinterlands it's really too good and every time you will face lot of new experiences new monsters and ability. When you experience more you can rectify your own deck more good and strong. Today I played another battle of ranked in which I face a new opponent it was easy for my monsters to win the game. But I don't know how that opponent made the deck or maybe he was a newbie for a game. Let me share you about the battle in detail:-

The name of the ruleset was STANDARD :- No changes to the gameplay or mechanism. So in this battle we can use any monster or summoner with any ability we want. I choose my strongest monster for the battle.

Battle was of 54 mana cost it was enough to make a good deck. But still I adjust some monsters here and there to fit in and make a whole deck I changed the monster in exchange of dread and also some minor changes in position of monsters. Now let me share you about the battle more deeply.

So as round starts all the monster started attacking on each other opponent first monster was really strong my monster started making him weak. After that my last monster attack on opponent last monster as per his ability. In this round only one monster was knock and everyone was making weak for the next round. So let's go ahead.

Again as round starts everyone just started attacking on each other, no monster was eliminate even in this round. But opponent monster attack on my first monster and swamp really hard and made them weak. So let's move to the next round of the battle. Opponent first monster was also weak.

This was the game changing round because as round starts lord attack on opponent first monster and eliminate him from the game. Now the battle was getting one sided now I can say who will win the game. After that matron attack on opponent second monster and eliminate him from the game. So in this round opponent lose 2 monsters in a row and left with two monsters. Meanwhile my monsters were also weak but they were strong enough to defeat the opponent. Now let's move ahead with the battle.

So as round starts lord attack on opponent first monster and eliminate him from the game. After that opponent monster attack on swamp and eliminate him. But now opponent was left with last monster and I still have five monsters in the game. After eliminate swamp, roc attack on opponent last monster and eliminate him from the game. And here I won the battle from my strong opponent easily. The battle was easy for my monsters to win the game after half of the battle the game was one sided.

Now I was little bit confused to be honest was this a real player? because in the 54 mana cost a good player makes a full deck. And if you see there was no one in his deck to attack on everyone was just defending the attack. And keeping the weak monster at the last position does not make any sense. So maybe it could be a bot or newbie but i don't care all I just want is to win the game. Every battle give you lot of experience to be honest once you play the game it will become more interesting all you need to learn about some things and understand game truly.

Today I got to thinking, PLOTS. It's been awhile since I took a look at the sale value of Splinterlands land. Not just any land but unclaimed PLOTS on TribalDex (Powered by Hive-Engine).

As the screenshot above shows the today's value of one unclaimed plot is 355 Hive Tokens on the Buy Orders side. On the ASK side of the order book we can see it would cost 450 Hive Tokens for a PLOT. Put another way: It would cost $25.40 USD to purchase directly from the ASK side. On the BUY ORDERS side the highest bid is $19.90 USD. All USD numbers are rounded to the nearest cent. If we take a look at the last sold numbers we will see a PLOT last sold for $16.80 USD or put another way 300 Hive Tokens. At current time there is no more plots listed for sale at the last sold for rate of 300 Hive Tokens. Today's date is 2026-10-03. But what if we take a look at unclaimed PLOT prices on the official Splinterlands site? Lets do that now. To get to the right section simply log in to the Splinterlands official site and hover over the MARKET icon at the top of the page. Once you do so select land out of the drop-down menu. Boom you are now in the right section.

Take a look at that. Go ahead, have a look. I'll be waiting right here for you while you do. Do you see what I see? As the screenshots above shows; On the Splinterlands site PLOTS are listed for sale at the price point of $28.329 USD. Total price in DEC would be 52,750 (rounded to the nearest DEC). One can also purchase PLOTS on the official Splinterlands site using CREDITS. To fund your account with CREDITS the easy to use PayPal feature can be utilized. 1000 CREDITS is equal to $1 USD. Which means it cost a total of 28,329 CREDITS to purchase a PLOT from the Splinterlands players market. There is currently only two PLOTS at this rate. The price per PLOT quickly jumps to $30+ USD with just two sales (new listings withstanding). As I look at those numbers I am very tempted to purchase the PLOTS located on TribalDex for 400 Hive Tokens each. For now I'll continue with creating this post. Who knows by the end of it I just might purchase one or possibly both PLOTS. At current time I hold six unclaimed PLOTS in my @rentmoney account. Then again I might put up a purchase order. I might not do either - I procrastinate allot. I do know that if one were to purchase PLOTS its easier on the wallet to do so from TribalDex at the moment.

A Plot is the basic unit of land. Landowners can harvest, refine, and store resources required to mint items. In all of Praetoria, only 150,000 player-owned Plots exist. If we dig a little further we can see that a Land Track is currently listed for $7,995 USD. While a Land Region is listed at $88,888.88 USD. Common Totem can be seen listed for $9.95, Rare Totem for $95, Epic Totem for $249 and a Legendary Totem for $900 USD. Those are some big and interesting numbers. How often any of these sell is unknown to me. There might be a last sold for feature but if there is I seem to be overlooking it. Land has become a big part of the Splinterlands game. It is as popular possibly even more popular than the battling itself. Land is scarce and has ever only been introduced to us the one time throughout the existence of Splinterlands. With each new claim that is one less UNCLAIMED PLOT available for someone else to go through the full claim experience. Where the value of LAND goes from here is anyone's guess but being a believer in the success of Splinterlands I would have to imagine the ultimate settling point for a PLOT of land will only increase through time. End of Season Reward

Hello Splinterlands and Hive Fam!

I hope life is treating you well wherever you are in the world, and that your weekend is going great.

My Splinterlands Game account is FinPulse9.

The season is already over, and this season I'm using a different strategy I followed two seasons ago. I know that the season will be ending in about 12 days from now, and still, I have not renewed my rented cards so that I can start playing, but there is a reason for that. Before I talk about that, let me share with you what reward I received in the last season. I'm happy to say that the reward in the last season was really good because I got more than 100k Glint tokens as part of the season-end reward!

I must say, this reward is very good! If I share the exact count, then I have got 104k Glint tokens, which I think is the highest I have received in the last few seasons. The season ended in the Diamond 2 league because I achieved a rating of 3,040 with a winning rate of 48.52%. I wanted to enter the next league, which is Diamond 1, but that could not happen. It's fine because, even though I ended the Season 1 league before, my reward was good. That's what makes me happy with the strategy I followed in that particular season.

I have claimed the reward, and this season I will be spending some of the claimed amount in the market to buy the cards. The strategy I have for the current season is that once the season ends in about 10 days, I'll go for the card rental. The reason why I want to go late on the renewal side is that once it approaches the renewal window for the card, it will give me a window of about 22 or 23 days. This is so that I can play the current season as well as the next season with the same cards, since the renewal will be there for an extended number of days.

This will help me save time because I don't want to spend a few hours every season. It is boring work, to be honest, and I don't want to do the same season again and again. If I have the option, it's good if I can lose a couple of days, but I know that I can make it up. This gap is not good, but I am confident that with my regular activities on the battleground, I will be able to cover it up, and there will be no loss because I have done the same in the last season. I'm pretty confident, and that is the reason why I have not even started the rental renewal, which I will do in 2 days, most probably. Let's see how it goes, and I will keep the community updated on how I am doing.

This is the new strategy that I follow in the game, and I'm happy with it because it helps me save time, but ultimately, my reward and the gaming journey are the same. There is no change. Specifically, if I talk about the progress, then it is even better by comparison. Once again, I would like to mention here that it's a game, and sometimes my plan is not going to happen because there are many other players, and every season just can't be the same. Thank you!

Here is my Season 191 report covering battle performance, earnings, rewards, tournaments and market activity.

Time for Another EOS Season Report

It has been a while since I wrote my last EOS season report, so I guess it is time to do one again! 🤣

I am still going strong in Frontier, playing daily with four accounts. But I must admit, it is slowly starting to feel like a grind and I am losing some interest in the format, especially now that Modern Brackets are back.

The biggest downside for me with Modern right now is energy versus Glint.

My bots are earning around 10x the amount of Glint that I am currently earning in Modern. On top of that, I have to start all the way back in Wood division, which means there is a LOT of climbing to do and that also means burning through a lot of energy.

Normally I would just buy some extra energy to speed up the climb, but currently I have to pay the Champion price for energy. That is simply way too expensive when you are trying to climb through the lower Modern divisions.

So for now I am just playing a few matches every day. We will see if I can slowly climb over the next few seasons and get back into a reasonable division without burning a mountain of DEC on energy.

Survival Experiment Is Over

The Survival experiment is also gone now, so another incentive to play has disappeared for me to earn more glint.

The extra Glint was nice, but I also really enjoyed participating in the experiment and hopefully helping the Splinterlands team by providing feedback. Survival definitely was not easy, but it was fun!

For now my focus has shifted a bit.

A lot of my programming time has been going into the Land site, together with some smaller changes and improvements on the statistics site.

Still trying to keep everything up to date while finding enough time to actually play the game too. 🤣

Anyway, enough talking. Let's have a look at how this season went!

Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you are all doing well. Today, I will discuss the Blackmoor Trickster, one of the cards from the Splinterlands Rebellion Edition. The Blackmoor Trickster is a small yet strategically significant Common Earth unit. With a mana cost of just 3, it easily fits into lineups for low-mana battles. Its 'Snare' ability is particularly effective against enemies with the 'Flying' ability. Let’s dive into a detailed discussion about this card.

The most appealing aspect of the Blackmoor Trickster is its combination of a low mana cost with impressive speed and health; at the maximum level, it offers 8 health and 4 speed for a cost of just 3 mana. Furthermore, the Blackmoor Trickster enters battle with the 'Close Range' ability right from Level 1, and later gains the 'Snare' ability at Level 5. Splinterlands Day 8: The Battles That Teach You Something

Day 8 of my Splinterlands journey.

The more I play, the more I realize that every battle gives me something to think about. Sometimes it is a new strategy, sometimes it is a mistake, and sometimes it is simply a reminder that I still have a lot to learn.

Today, I was paying more attention to the decisions I make before the battle starts.

It is easy to look at a battle and focus only on the cards. You see a strong attacker and think, “I need that card.” You see a powerful tank and immediately want to put it in front.

But building a good team is more than just picking strong cards.

The first thing I consider now is what I actually want my team to accomplish.

Do I want to attack quickly?

Do I want to survive for a long time?

Do I want to protect my backline?

Do I want to use abilities that can create an advantage later in the battle?

Those questions can completely change the lineup I choose.

I also noticed that I sometimes spend too much time trying to create the “perfect” team.

And honestly, there probably isn’t a perfect team.

There is only a team that makes sense for the situation.

The ruleset can change everything. The mana limit can force me to make difficult decisions. Even the cards available can completely change the way I approach a battle.

That is what makes the game interesting.

You cannot always rely on one strategy.

You have to adapt.

One thing I have enjoyed during this journey is discovering that some of my best ideas come from situations where I initially have no idea what to do.

When the obvious option doesn’t look right, I start looking at other possibilities.

Maybe I can use a card I normally ignore.

Maybe I can change my positioning.

Maybe I can sacrifice some attacking power for more defense.

Maybe I don’t need the strongest cards. I just need cards that work well together.

That last point has become increasingly important to me.

Teamwork between cards can sometimes matter more than individual strength.

A card might not look impressive on its own, but when combined with the right cards, it can become extremely useful.

That is something I want to continue exploring as I play more.

Of course, not every experiment works.

There are times when I make a decision and immediately realize that it was probably not my best idea. 😂

But those battles are useful too.

If something doesn’t work, I now have a better idea of what not to do next time.

And sometimes a failed strategy only needs a small adjustment.

Maybe the cards were fine but the positioning was wrong.

Maybe the lineup was good but the mana was not used efficiently.

Maybe I needed a little more defense.

These small details are slowly becoming easier for me to notice.

Day 8 has made me appreciate the learning process even more.

I don’t expect every battle to be a win.

I just want to keep improving my understanding of the game.

The goal is to look at a battle, understand the situation, make a decision and learn something from whatever happens next.

There will be good battles.

There will be terrible battles.

There will probably be a few moments where I wonder why I chose a particular card in the first place. 😂

But that is all part of the journey.

Eight days in, I am still experimenting, still learning and still enjoying the process.

And there are definitely more battles to come.

Hello to all my friends! I hope you are all doing well. I started my day by playing some Modern rank matches. I played quite a few games today; while I lost a few, I won the majority of them. I managed to rank up in the Modern rank format today. Additionally, I purchased a new card for my collection from the market. I bought this card primarily because I found it amazing, and it can be used in both Modern and Frontier rank matches. I need a few more cards for my collection, though I'm not quite sure which ones to get next. Having ranked up to a new tier today, I am sharing my achievements and the new card I bought with all of you; I hope you enjoy this post and please do share your thoughts in the comments section.

I played several Modern rank matches today; while some were quite tough, I still managed to win most of them. I moved up from Division 7 to Division 6 in the Modern rank format. Upon reaching Division 6, I received three loot boxes and 2,000 Glints. This is truly fantastic, as collecting Glints has become much easier this season. Opening these three loot boxes cost me three Legendary Potion charges and three Alchemy Potion charges.

After unlocking Division 6 in Modern rank and receiving the three loot boxes, I opened them and obtained these rewards. Among the rewards were two cards—one of which, the "Husk Of The Hunter," has excellent abilities—and I also received 29 Merits. All in all, the outcome was great: ranking up and earning these rewards in the process.

I bought another card from the market today. I decided to purchase this specific card because I had seen an opposing team using it effectively in Frontier rank matches. Although I don't know much about the cards, I have asked others before every match for recommendations on good, low-cost options, yet no one had really suggested anything specific until now. However, I bought the "Saltwater Mage" card from the market today—a choice inspired by seeing someone else use it. The card boasts impressive stats: a mana cost of 8, magic attack of 2, health of 5, and speed of 2; overall, its capabilities are truly outstanding.

I purchased the "Saltwater Mage" card from the market today using credits. It cost me 100 credits, which is equivalent to $0.10. With this purchase, I’ve added another card to my collection. My collection is gradually growing as I add more cards.
