Hola, amigos de la comunidad de Hive y de la maravillosa tarima virtual de Hive Open Mic en su Semana 342. En esta hermosa jornada llena de talento y arte, tengo el enorme placer de compartir con todos ustedes un tradicional y vibrante corrío de nuestra amada música del folklore llanero, interpretado con todo el sentimiento, la pasión y el respeto que nuestras raíces musicales merecen.

Para esta ocasión tan especial, he decidido ejecutar la pieza en el brillante y expresivo tono de Re mayor, una tonalidad que permite realzar la fuerza de la melodía y conectar de manera muy directa con la esencia festiva y nostálgica del llano. Además, cuento con el honor y el lujo incalculable de estar acompañada por el maestro Ramón Páez en el arpa, cuya ejecución magistral, destreza técnica y profundo dominio del instrumento le otorgan a cada compás un sabor criollo y auténtico.

participar en esta nueva edición del Hive Open Mic es siempre una oportunidad maravillosa para seguir celebrando nuestra identidad cultural y compartirla con personas de todo el mundo que valoran el arte. Hello freids Hive community and the wonderful virtual stage of Hive Open Mic for its Week 342. In this beautiful journey full of talent and art, I have the enormous pleasure of sharing with all of you a traditional and vibrant corrío of our beloved llanero folklore music, performed with all the feeling, passion, and respect that our musical roots deserve.

For this very special occasion, I have decided to play the piece in the bright and expressive key of D major, a tonality that enhances the strength of the melody and connects directly with the festive and nostalgic essence of the plains. Furthermore, I have the incredible honor and luxury of being accompanied by maestro Ramón Páez on the harp, whose masterful performance, technical skill, and deep mastery of the instrument give every beat an authentic and traditional flavor.

Participating in this new edition of Hive Open Mic is always a wonderful opportunity to continue celebrating our cultural identity and share it with people around the world who value art. I sincerely hope you enjoy every second of this musical presentation as much as I enjoyed preparing it with dedication for you.

In this video, I talk briefly about how I was away for a while from the Hive themes, contests, and participations in music festivals like the Hive Open Mic. I mention that I was absent for a period of time due to various personal activities, and I take the opportunity to invite you to watch my previous video, where I go a bit deeper into all of this.

Besides catching up with you, on this occasion I develop a guitar improvisation over a fusion genre backing track. I hope you enjoy this performance and my return to the musical dynamics of the community.

Comento que estuve ausente durante un período debido a diversas actividades personales, y aprovecho para invitarlos a ver mi video anterior, donde profundizo un poco más sobre todo esto.

Hola amigos || Hello friends

Hace unas semanas estaba acostado en la cama viendo instagram y me topé con una publicidad que me llevó a conocer a este cantante y compositor venezolano el mismo junto a su esposa son unos influencer en las redes por su contenido y el poscad que realiza al lado de su esposa. Me sorprendió la manera en como trabajo el artista y por supuesto que en cierto punto envidié la facilidad que tenia de trabajar, los recursos, la colaboración de otros e incluso fueron tantos colaboradores que lograron grabar los videos de las 8 canciones de su disco en un solo día. Una tarea que decían parecía imposible, llegó una mano extra y le borró esa mala idea.

A few weeks ago, I was lying in bed scrolling through Instagram when I came across an ad that introduced me to this Venezuelan singer-songwriter. He and his wife are social media influencers known for their content and the posts he creates alongside her. I was surprised by the way the artist works, and of course, at one point I envied how easily he was able to work his resources, the collaboration he receives from others and in fact, he had so many collaborators that they managed to record the videos for all 8 songs on his album in a single day. It was a task that seemed impossible, but an extra helping hand came along and dispelled that negative thought.

La canción me parece libertad plena, esas aventuras con tu alma gemela que no tienen límites ni mucho menos fronteras, dispuestos arriesgarlo todo por estar juntos y al mismo tiempo, tener un amor lleno de aventuras y riesgos. Eliú, así se lama este fabuloso artista tiene un trabajo musical muy bueno con un repertorio lleno de historias diarias que puede ocurrirnos. Esas escenas que solemos tener día a día. El video de esta canción es también bastante bueno y agregan ese humor característico de su contenido en redes sociales. La verdad es que me quedé pegado con este amigo y he estado muy pegado a su trabajo en estos días y bueno, me quise disfrutar esta canción grabándola y compartiendo con ustedes mis hallazgos

To me, this song embodies complete freedom those adventures with your soulmate that know no limits, let alone borders, where you’re willing to risk everything just to be together, while at the same time experiencing a love filled with adventure and risk. Eliú that’s the name of this fabulous artist has a great musical body of work with a repertoire full of everyday stories that could happen to any of us. Those scenes we tend to experience day in and day out. The music video for this song is also pretty good and adds that signature humor from his social media content. The truth is, I’ve been hooked on this guy and have been really into his work lately, and well, I wanted to enjoy this song by recording it and sharing my discoveries with you all.

La música es lo que le da sentido a mi vida, mi pasión por ella, es vital como el agua para vivir. Sonidos que me cambian el estado de ánimo en segundos... "Regresa a mi" es una gran canción para el tema propuesto de la semana 341 de HIVE OPNE MIC, se que hay una versión en ingles pero decidí cantarlo en español ya que es mi idioma. El amor es doloroso y esta canción lo expresa claramente, después que esa persona se va es duro avanzar y seguir, lo se por cuenta propia.

"Regresa a mí" is a great song for the theme proposed for week 341 of HIVE OPEN MIC. I know there is an English version, but I decided to sing it in Spanish since it is my native language. Love can be painful, and this song expresses that clearly; after someone leaves, it is hard to move forward and keep going—I know this from my own experience.

Hive Open Mic ( #openmic ) es una comunidad global que trabaja por la paz mundial a través del amor por la música en vivo. Cada semana es una nueva invitación a expresar y conectarnos.

We send a special greeting to all the musicians and friends of Hive Open Mic! We're approaching 300 weeks since this Global Harmony music space began, and we've seen so many artists grow alongside our community. We're so happy to see language barriers broken down, and today our weekly event is a global experience that has even united us in the same feeling and the same song more than once.

Many things have changed during this time; people who set a precedent here have left, and new people have arrived, but the main idea of our community remains the same. So it's time to remember the Rules and Suggested Guidelines of Hive Open Mic; those important details to take into account when participating to qualify for the benefits and rewards sponsored by our collaborators.

¡Enviamos un saludo especial a todos los músicos y amigos del Hive Open Mic!. Estamos arribando a 300 semanas desde que comenzó este espacio musical de Armonía Global y hemos visto crecer a tantos artistas junto a nuestra comunidad. Con mucha felicidad notamos como se rompieron las barreras de idioma y hoy nuestro evento semanal es una experiencia global que incluso nos ha unido en el mismo sentimiento y la misma canción más de una vez.

1. You must appear at the beginning of your video stating that it is an entry for Hive Open Mic, the week number, and your username.

2. The spoken introduction and the music you share must be recorded together; attaching old videos is not allowed.

3. Your video must be posted in the Hive Open Mic Community and only one entry per week is allowed between Monday and Sunday, after the official announcement. Starting Monday, it is forbidden to post videos from the previous week.

4. English is the main language of the community, but you can also add text in your original language.

5. You must cite the sources of images, song lyrics, and instrumental tracks to give credit to the original authors.

6. If you make a second post in the same week or if you do not comply with the first three rules, your post will be considered invalid and you will be muted.
