Espero que estén superbién, por este lado del mundo nos encontramos fenomenal, verán hoy quiero compartirles una cena especial, pues la realizamos para celebrar una fecha digna de celebración, y como aquí somos amantes de la pasta y de la carne, que mejor que preparar algo así de delicioso en casa, una pasta en salsa casera con un new york steak, es fácil de hacer, con ingredientes fáciles de encontrar y el resultado es espectacular, así que aquí les dejo el paso a paso de como prepararla!.

Since we’re big fans of both pasta and steak, what better way to celebrate than by making something this delicious at home? We prepared pasta in a homemade sauce served with a New York strip steak. It’s easy to make, uses ingredients that are simple to find, and the result is absolutely spectacular. So, here is the step-by-step guide on how to prepare it!

Lo primero que hice fue adelantar la salsa para la pasta, en mi caso, me gusta hacer mis propias salsas de pastas, aunque también use un poco de pure de tomate que tenía en la nevera, eso lo verán más adelante, aquí les muestro como sofreí a fuego medio con aceite de coco extra virgen los vegetales para la salsa, tomates, cebolla, ajo, un poquito de salsa inglesa y pimienta negra molida.

The first thing I did was get a head start on the pasta sauce. I personally like to make my own pasta sauces—though I did also use a bit of tomato purée I had in the fridge, which you’ll see later on. Here, I’m showing how I sautéed the vegetables for the sauce—tomatoes, onion, and garlic—over medium heat using extra-virgin coconut oil, along with a dash of Worcestershire sauce and some ground black pepper.

Mientras se sofreían los vegetales comencé a acomodar el resto de mis ingredientes, pues me gusta mantener el orden y la limpieza en cada comida, una vez los vegetales estaban cocinados los lleve al procesador con un poco del puré de tomate, sal y agua, así ya tengo mi salsa lista y solo me queda hacer la carne mientras se cocina la pasta.

Algo que me hace hacer este amor eterno por los atardeceres es admirarlos plenamente, es decir, por completo, en su absoluto, y eso es, también girar y mirar hacia atrás, para notar como pinta absolutamente todo a su al rededor, pues un atardecer no solo se aprecia viéndolo fijamente, se admira observando las nubes, el horizonte en general, las montañas, es un todo, un todo que se vuelve mágico cuando el sol está cayendo.

Ame con locura este atardecer, pues a pesar de que no le tenía tanta fe, me dejo sin palabras, ni hablar de como el resto de la vista estaba en tonos rosados, fue como ver dos atardeceres en uno solo, premio doble le llamo yo jajaja, me enamore de estas fotos y espero que les gusten tanto como a mí! Freyja a través del pino | ¡Mini sesión de fotos! [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola amigos! Hoy quiero compartirles unas fotos brutales que le hice a mi gatita nórdica Freyja, pues desde hace tiempo, había querido realizar este concepto de fotografiarla a través del pino, ya que, pues es su árbol favorito desde que llegamos, aunque no debería por qué supuestamente, tengo entendido, que los gatos no son amantes del olor a pino, pero ella me demostró que no es así, diariamente, sale de la casa directo a su pino, para olerlo y luego acostarse debajo de él.

Aprovechando que estábamos jugando, se acostó justo detrás del pino, lo cual me dio la oportunidad de buscar un espacio libre donde se viera su hermosa cara y hacer realidad estas fotos que tanto quería, había mucha brisa así que no fue fácil, aun así, logre hacer las fotos y no saben lo feliz que soy! jajaja, luego seguimos jugando por supuesto, era una tarde de juegos con Ragnar y Loki también, pronto les comparto las fotografías que les tome a ellos, mientras los dejo con estas de mi gordita hermosa, estoy muy pero muy enamorada de ella y sus ojos color sol.

Hello friends! Today I want to share some stunning photos I took of my little Nordic cat, Freyja. I’ve been wanting to try this concept—photographing her through the pine tree—for a while now. It’s been her favorite tree ever since we arrived, which is a bit surprising, as I’ve heard that cats generally aren’t fans of the scent of pine. But Freyja has proven that’s not the case for her; every single day, she heads straight from the house to her pine tree to sniff it and then curl up underneath.

While we were playing, she happened to lie down right behind the tree, which gave me the perfect chance to find an opening where her beautiful face would be visible—finally bringing this photo idea to life! It was quite breezy, so it wasn’t easy, but I managed to get the shots, and I’m just so happy! Hahaha! Of course, we kept on playing afterward—it was an afternoon of fun with Ragnar and Loki, too. I’ll share the photos I took of them soon, but for now, I’ll leave you with these of my beautiful girl. I am just so, so in love with her—and those sun-colored eyes of hers!

Espero que estén super bien, por mi parte me encuentro excelente gracias a Dios, feliz de compartir con ustedes este raro, pero lindo atardecer, pues estaba muy nublado y la verdad pensé que no veríamos nada bonito esa tarde, pero paso algo maravilloso, tipo Stranger Things el cielo se pintó de rosado jajaja, primero tuvo un tono amarillo/naranja y luego de repente, todo estaba rosado, me quede impresionada unos segundos y luego tome algunas fotos, pues teníamos una vista espectacular.

Como ya sabrán amo capturar atardeceres, pero últimamente he estado prestando más atención a lo que ocurre luego de que el sol se oculte, lo cual me ha hecho apreciar aún más lo hermoso que es el cielo y sus colores, definitivamente esta es mi dosis de vida!, me despido deseándoles éxito y mucha prosperidad, que tengan un hermoso día, hasta pronto!.

Espero que estén superbién, por mi parte me encuentro genial, feliz de compartirles esta rica receta, pues, ordenando un poco mi cocina, me percate que tenía vino blanco guardado así que pensé, por qué no hace hoy algo rico con vino?? Recuerdo que me gustaba mucho hacer champiñones con vino blanco, por eso lo tenía guardado, así que esta vez, lo utilice con el pollo, acompañándolo de un rico puré de papas y brócoli, como tenía mucho tiempo sin usar vino pensé que a lo mejor no quedaría tan rico, pero la verdad es que si quedo delicioso, así que aquí les va como lo prepare!.

While tidying up my kitchen, I discovered some white wine I had tucked away, and I thought, "Why not make something tasty with wine today?" I used to love making mushrooms with white wine—which is why I had it on hand—but this time, I decided to use it with chicken, served alongside some lovely mashed potatoes and broccoli. Since it had been such a long time since I last cooked with wine, I was a little worried it might not turn out that well, but it actually turned out absolutely delicious! So, here’s how I made it!

Ingredientes:

Cebolla

Ajo

Vino blanco

Pimienta negra molida

Orégano

Pollo

Papas

Perejil

Mantequilla

Aceite de coco extra virgen

Ingredients:

White wine

Ground black pepper

Oregano

Chicken

Potatoes

Parsley

Butter

Extra virgin coconut oil

En una sartén agregue un chorrito de aceite de coco extra virgen, luego coloque el pollo al cual condimente con orégano y pimienta negra molida, la idea es dorar el pollo para luego retirarlo, una vez listo a esa misma sartén se le añade un poquito más de aceite de coco, la cebolla y el ajo previamente picados, sofreí un minuto y luego agregue el pollo junto con el vino blanco, la idea es que se evapore un poco, así que coloque el fuego bajo y deje cocinar mientras hacia el puré de papas y brócoli.

✨PASO 1:

Comencé creando un nuevo lienzo de 3000 × 3000 px; hice bocetos sucios de lo que quería, aunque en mi mente tenía claro que principalmente era un niño pensativo, preocupado o distraído resolviendo problemas en su mente y viendo por la ventana. Por otra parte, había un gato y un ratón lidiando con sus propios problemas, pues el gato quería atrapar al ratón que se robó un pedazo de queso, jaja. Digamos que todos tenemos nuestros problemas y preocupaciones, pero el mundo sigue.

✨STEP 1:

I started by creating a new 3000 × 3000 px canvas. I made rough sketches of what I wanted though I had a clear mental image of a boy who was pensive, worried, or distracted, solving problems in his head while gazing out the window. Meanwhile, a cat and a mouse were dealing with their own issues: the cat was trying to catch the mouse, who had stolen a piece of cheese, haha. Let's just say we all have our problems and worries, but the world keeps turning.

Al tener el boceto listo, pasé a dar color. Quería un fondo rojo potente que combiné con colores crema para la ventana, amarillo y morado para la cortina, las lámparas marrones, además de tonos verdes, rosas y un marrón grisáceo. En cuanto al niño, quería que tuviera cabello castaño, piel blanca y vestimenta naranja; el ratón, gris con rosa y el queso, amarillo; y el gato, naranja con crema. Esto lo hice con un pincel liso sin textura.

¡Una tarde nublada de juegos en el jardín trasero! [ESP/ENG]

¡Hola amigos!! Espero que estén muy bien al igual que sus mascotas, deseo para ellas mucha salud y amor, hoy les quiero mostrar un par de fotos que pude tomar, pues la verdad, quería hacerles una mejor sesión de fotos, pero no contaba con que justo esa tarde mi vecino tenía trabajadores en la parte de arriba de su casa, ese no es el problema, ocurre que suelen hacer mucho ruido y eso si es un problema para mis gatos jajaja, como es de saberse, ruidos muy fuertes suele hacer que estén alertas, y si hablamos de que Loki tiene problemas de estrés y ansiedad severos, verán en las fotos que estaba algo nervioso, aun así, decidió jugar un rato con nosotros.

A pesar de, fuimos a la parte de atrás del edificio, y si, la maleza ha crecido muchísimo lo sé, hace tiempo debemos cortarla, pero.... Dios ellos aman muchísimo jugar allí, adoran el poder esconderse y saltar encima del otro y luego seguir saltando o corriendo, así que me ha un poco de lástima quitarles esta diversión, quien si estaba totalmente relajado es Ragnar, el más pequeño, no sé si es por su edad, pero realmente es más dócil, flexible y amigable que Loki y Freyja, el sí que estaba muy feliz explorando y jugando al máximo, solo estuvimos un rato ahí paseando y jugando, pues los trabajadores del vecino estaban haciendo un poco más de ruido, por lo que volvimos a casa para luego, más tarde, subir a la terraza a ver el atardecer.

Por supuesto, no me quede con las ganas de hacerle otra sesión de fotos, así que al siguiente día les hice una mientras jugábamos en los jardines de enfrente, quedaron preciosas, pronto se las comparto, me despido deseándoles mucho éxito, prosperidad y por qué no una larga vida a sus mascotas!.

Hello friends! I hope you and your pets are doing very well; I wish them lots of health and love. Today I want to show you a couple of photos I managed to take. To be honest, I had wanted to do a better photoshoot, but I hadn't counted on my neighbor having workers on the upper level of his house that afternoon. That in itself isn't the problem; the issue is that they tend to make a lot of noise, which is a problem for my cats, haha. As you might expect, loud noises tend to put them on high alert—and considering Loki struggles with severe stress and anxiety, you can see in the photos that he was a bit nervous. Even so, he decided to play with us for a while.

Despite the noise, we went to the back of the building. Yes, I know the weeds have grown like crazy—we really should have cut them back a while ago—but... honestly, they love playing there so much. They adore hiding, pouncing on each other, and then continuing to jump and run around, so I feel a bit bad about taking that fun away from them. Ragnar, the youngest, was the one who was totally relaxed; I don't know if it's his age, but he really is more docile, flexible, and friendly than Loki and Freyja. He was truly happy exploring and playing to the fullest. We only spent a short time walking and playing there because the neighbor's workers were getting a bit noisier, so we headed back home, planning to go up to the terrace later to watch the sunset.

Of course, I didn't want to miss the chance to do another photoshoot, so the next day I took some pictures while we played in the front gardens.
