Today, I won't be diving into any heavy or complex topics. I woke up bright and early around 5:30 AM, and after freshening up, I stepped out for a walk at 6:00 AM.

Whenever I get some free time, I love going for a walk. As I was strolling along the quiet village road today, this breathtaking scenery completely caught my eye.

Seeing the soft sunlight peeking through the cloudy sky instantly lifted my spirits! So, I couldn't help but capture a few shots to share this moment with all of you.

The peaceful early morning nature truly brings a deep sense of calm to the heart. I hope these morning photos bring a smile to your face too!

Are Modern Platforms Really Controlling Our Brains?

Today, I want to share a few thoughts on a simple, yet very important topic. Before we begin, let me clear one thing up—this discussion is not meant to disrespect any platform, blame anyone, or hurt anyone's feelings. This is purely my personal perspective and a friendly reminder to raise awareness.

Today, I want to talk about short reels and shorts videos on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok—and how they are quietly controlling our brains every single day without us even realizing it!

To understand how this happens, just look at what we do every day. When we scroll through our phones, one moment we see a deeply emotional video, and in the very next second, a hilarious clip pops up! These short, few-second videos easily grab our attention and keep us watching. But have we ever stopped to ask ourselves,

how are these short reels silently shaping the way we think?

This is actually their main strategy. The core goal of these platforms is to keep us glued to the screen for as long as possible. Constantly switching between different emotions creates a false sense of pleasure in our minds. Over time, our attention span gets shorter, our focus on everyday tasks gets ruined, and we become deeply addicted to these screens.

While this affects all of us, what concerns me the most is that

the worst impact of these short videos is falling on our children.

When kids are constantly hooked on these fast-paced short videos, their patience and tolerance drop significantly. They lose their natural ability to think deeply or focus on their studies, becoming completely dependent on instant entertainment.

Technology was created to serve us, not to control us. So, it's time for us to take back control, use technology mindfully, and not let these short reels run our brains or our lives!

SCAM ALERT! Reminder: Never Trust Unknown Links!

User @karenb54 had been spamming links to a "Hive airdrop" in comments. This is a scam. Do not click. Do not enter your keys. No one needs your private keys to send you anything, just your user name. There are no limited-time airdrops, and scammers love to use high-pressure tactics to give a sense of urgency while appealing to greed or fear in order to get you to do something stupid. Always be alert!

If you did enter your keys, I hope it wasn't your Owner Key, because now you need to update all of your other keys. The real website to do that is wallet.hive.blog. You will need your Owner Key to change the rest, and then you will need to write down and save your new keys securely so you can log into your account again with safe credentials.

UPDATE: I burned all my downvote power and half of my upvote power earlier today in downvoting the comments I could find, and risked being a spammer myself by replying with a warning to every comment the spammer wrote. Unfortunately, at least one person fell for it before I found out what was going on and started my campaign. Your private keys are everything in account security. Guard them like you would guard your house key.

Another tip: keep your tokens staked or in savings to protect them from immediate theft should your keys be compromised. Liquid HIVE/HBD will be taken immediately. Savings take 3 days to unlock, and staked HIVE releases at most 1/13th of your holdings after 7 days. This gives you time to secure your account, even if you can't remember right away where you stored that pesky Owner Key note. If you don't need it to be liquid, don't keep it liquid.

For the past few days, I’ve been noticing a gentle shift in the weather here in Sylhet—a beautiful, lush district nestled in northeastern Bangladesh.

The scorching, sweltering heat is slowly slipping away, making way for a sweet, crisp chill in the air.

Living right here in my beloved Sylhet, I can feel this lovely seasonal rhythm changing up close.

That restless, exhausting summer heat is finally gone.

Yet, watching nature play with these subtle changes is truly enchanting!

When I wake up in the morning, a refreshing cool breeze touches the skin, instantly soothing the heart and mind.

But as the afternoon rolls around, a bit of warmth sneaks right back in.

It feels like Sylhet’s weather hasn't quite decided on its mood yet—as if the heat and the cold are playing a quiet game of hide-and-seek.

I’ve been on Hive for a few months now and I always try my best to stay active. But to be honest, I’m still figuring out where I truly belong. I haven't quite found my specific niche yet, nor have I pinpointed which communities would benefit most from my content.

RC Problem for Newcomers on Ecency and Our One-Month Challenge

Actually, there’s something I’ve been thinking about for the past few days, so I thought I’d share my honest thoughts with you all today. Many new friends are joining this platform every day, and by seeing their creative work, I’m learning a lot from them as well. However, while exploring around, I noticed a common issue—many new members start with great enthusiasm, but right at the beginning, due to a lack of RC (Resource Credits), they are unable to post or comment properly.

Thinking deeply about this issue, I realized that if we all take a decisive step together, a wonderful solution is definitely possible. Let’s discuss this in detail across three key points:

1. Initial Obstacles for Newcomers & The RC Problem

On new accounts, because the initial Hive Power (HP) is low, the free transaction credits (RC) provided by the system are very limited. After making just a few comments or a single post, a new member runs out of RC. As a result, despite having a strong desire to share quality content and engage with others, they are temporarily held back due to this shortage, and their activity slows down significantly.

2. The One-Month Discovery Challenge (Action Plan)

To practically solve this problem, we can take on a special one-month challenge. The challenge is: those of us who are active daily can spend just 10 to 15 minutes exploring the platform to identify new friends who are striving to publish quality content but are stuck due to low RC.

Once we find them, those of us with spare RC or HP can temporarily delegate some RC (RC Delegation) to them.

Along with that, we can guide them on practical steps—such as how to use their Ecency Points to power up or boost, and how to overcome these initial hurdles.

3. One-Month Results & Newcomers Becoming Self-Reliant

With this consistent support over a month, these new members will be able to post, comment, and engage seamlessly without any barriers. Through their regular activity, the curation rewards or post payouts they earn as Hive Tokens can be powered up into HP by themselves. Consequently, after just one month, these new friends won't have to depend on anyone else—they will build the capacity to manage their own RC.

An Afternoon Walk and an 8-Cent Ice Cream

This afternoon, I went out for a short walk to get some fresh air. While walking down the road, I saw a brother coming along with ice cream. Seeing him, I couldn't resist the urge and bought an ice cream from him.

You might actually laugh when you hear the price!

In Bangladeshi Taka, the price is really tiny. And if we calculate it in dollars, it won't even be 10 cents—maybe around 8 cents or so!

Nostalgic childhood memories in a simple 8-cent ice cream

Eating this super cheap ice cream brought back so many childhood memories. Back in the day, we used to buy these ice pops at such low prices. Today, it felt like I found that same familiar taste all over again. Truly, sometimes the simplest and least expensive things bring the greatest joy to our hearts, don't they?

A Short Story of My Walk on Tuesday Afternoon

Today is Wednesday. A beautiful rule of our community is to share a short experience of a walk from any day of the week, along with a few photos.

I don't really want to tell a very long story or get into deep details about anything. Yesterday, on Tuesday afternoon, I stepped out from our house to go for a short walk towards the riverbank. The river is about a kilometer away from my home. Every now and then, whenever I feel like getting some fresh air or lifting my spirits, I head over to the riverbank and spend some time there.

The path leading there was our very own quiet, tree-shaded village dirt road. Walking through the lush greenery on both sides and taking in the peaceful rural surroundings felt truly wonderful. So, while walking along, I couldn't resist snapping a picture of this beautiful path.

Upon reaching the riverbank, I came across quite a unique sight. A large dredger machine was slowly floating down the middle of the river. In our usually calm river, seeing such a massive vessel isn't something you encounter every single day. Watching it move through the water with the gentle hum of its engine and the soft ripples in the river felt genuinely fascinating, so I quickly took a few photos of it too.

All the photos in this post were taken with my own phone. Honestly, the camera lens isn't that great anymore. I use a Redmi Note 8, which I bought back in 2022. I've been using it ever since. Since it's quite an old device now, the camera performance isn't as good as it used to be.
