Splinterlands: My Smallest Lineup Gave Me Another Victory!

Hey Guys, what's going on! Welcome back to another Splinterlands battle! Today I had a ranked match against an enemy called WEATHERLOVE, with a mana cap of only 33. In my previous battle I had 58 mana to spend, so this meant I had to be more careful with my card choices. There was a modifier in this battle called Lost Legendaries. This means that I couldn't use any legend cards during the battle. I wasn't too concerned about this as I planned to use my usual fire element. My current rating was 600 and I hoped to win this match to be able to get a bit closer to getting out of Division 8.

Match Details

My Cards:

Summoner: Barthalamus

1st: Jolius Blast

2nd: Ash Archer

3rd: Lunaki Howler

I decided to use Jolius Blast again in my first slot. This is a card I have been using a lot recently so I felt confident to put him in my first slot. He had 12 health and 3 melee attack. For my second card I decided to use Ash Archer. I wanted to use a card that could attack from the back and this card did exactly that. Finally I chose Lunaki Howler to give me some magic attack. I was a bit concerned as I only had 3 cards in my deck. Usually I like to have more cards on the battlefield. However, I had already decided on my cards so I gave it a go.

When the battle started I saw that my enemy had chosen to use the water element. They also had 3 cards in their deck. Their first card had 12 health and 5 armour. This was going to make me struggle to get through their armour. Their second card had melee attack and their final card had magic and ranged attack. I wasn't expecting that and was starting to wonder if my 3 cards would be enough.

My enemy had a higher rating than me (670 compared to my 600) so I felt that they may have had more knowledge of these cards. I was also a bit concerned as their first card would be difficult to get through as my Jolius Blast would have to get through that armour first. I was hoping that my Ash Archer and Lunaki Howler would help me finish the battle quickly.

The battle lasted for 6 rounds and I was trying to figure out who would lose cards first. As we both had only 3 cards, there wasn't much room for error. I was very surprised that it took us 6 rounds as we had such few cards. I was expecting it to be much quicker.

In the end I won the match! I was super happy that my small deck had managed to beat WEATHERLOVE. I received +40 rating points and 90 Glint. My rating went up from 600 to 640. I am still in Division 8 but this was my third win in a row so I was pleased that I didn't lose my winning streak. It was also interesting that I managed to beat someone who had a higher rating than me. I guess having more cards doesn't always mean you'll win!

Future Goals

As my rating is now 640 I want to keep playing ranked matches to try and move up a division. I will also try to play with less cards more often when the mana cap is low. I have seen from this match that 3 cards can sometimes be enough if they work well together. I need to learn a lot more about the different modifiers and which cards work best in certain situations. Next time I may try a new element as I have been using the fire element almost every time. Hopefully my next battle goes well and I can continue to increase my rating!

Winning Against the Same Enemy Twice in a Row in Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up welcome back to my another battle of splinterlands. Today I got a match with mana cap of 58 and to my surprise my enemy was TESHAV again since I had beaten him up in my previous match and I really didn't expect to get him again so soon. This match had a modifier called Shapeshift Happens which makes all cards to count as every bloodline. I did not know what advantage it would give me so I decided to go with my fire element. I had enough mana to get some high cost cards and I really wanted to see how this match would turn out.

My Cards:

3rd: Chaos Furybringer

While picking my cards I went with Jolius Blast for my first slot as his 12 health seemed sufficient for the first slot. Then I put in Frankarsgard behind him and proceeded to put in Chaos Furybringer. For the rest of the slots I put in Vengeful Monk and Great Bear Druid and finally Ash Archer. I did not spend much time thinking about my cards since I wanted to see how far my current cards can take me. Sometimes I spend too much time contemplating which cards to put and in the end I still lose so I decided to keep it simple this time.

When the battle had started I saw that TESHAV had gone with the earth element. His cards were really interesting to me since he had different attack types on his cards. His first card also had 12 health and I had a feeling that it would be difficult to get through his front line. Another thing that I noticed was that he had put in some cards that had magical attacks in their skill set. I was really wondering if my cards would be able to withstand the magical damage since it is really annoying to have your health constantly decreased by magic damage.

I was also wondering what would be the benefit of the Shapeshift Happens modifier since I have been neglecting bloodlines in my previous matches. Since there was nothing much else to do I watched the battle and I thought that TESHAV had a bigger chance to beat me this time since he had a completely different element than me.

The final result was yet another victory for me as I had defeated TESHAV and I gained +40 rating points and 88 Glint. My rating had improved from 560 to 600 which I was really happy about and at least I managed to get two victories in a row against the same opponent. Now at least I was making progress with my ranked matches and not losing the rating points that I had earned.

Future Plans

Since I have improved my rating to 600 now I am planning to move out from Division 8 and I also want to learn which cards are more effective against magical attacks since I rarely prepare myself for them. It might be a good idea to experiment with water and death elements in my future matches since I have been ignoring them for a long time. There are a lot of cards that I have not tried yet so it is about time for me to test them out and hopefully discover some interesting combinations along the way.

Can Jolius Blast Carry My Fire Team to Victory? | Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up welcome back to my another battle of splinterlands. Today I got a match with the mana cap of 55 so it was quite a task to pick the right cards for the battle. I decided to go with fire element once again in order to use Jolius Blast since the card requires 13 mana and I don't get to use it that often. My rival for today was TESHAV and I didn't know if my deck would be enough to beat him. I've been winning quite a few matches so I was afraid that this time I would actually lose the battle. So let's see what happened in this match.

My Lineup:

As I picked my summoner I have decided to go with Barthalamas and started picking my cards one by one. First, I picked Jolius Blast due to his 12 health and I thought that it would be enough to be in the first spot. The next card that I picked was Frankarsgard once again since I've been using this one quite often. Afterwards, I went for Chaos Furybringer for the third spot and then Vengeful Monk in the fourth. I also wanted to add Great Bear Druid since I've been including this card in my previous decks. Finally, I picked Ash Archer for the sixth spot. I had around 55 mana and I only spent 53 so I could've added two more cards to my deck but I have decided to leave it be.

When the battle has started I saw my rival's deck and I was a bit surprised to see that he didn't pick any of the cards that I usually use in my matches. The first card in his deck had 12 health which was the same amount of Jolius Blast's health. I thought that the battle would be a long one since both of our decks had a lot of health and also his deck consisted of some really powerful cards that I've never seen before. I was a bit afraid to even start this battle but I had to find out what was waiting for me in this match.

One of the things that I was afraid of was losing Jolius Blast early on in the battle due to the fact that I spent 13 mana on him. If he dies before dealing enough damage then the rest of my deck would have to do the job and I wasn't sure if they would be able to survive for long. Another thing that I was afraid of was Chaos Furybringer since I didn't use him that often and sometimes I pick random cards just to see if they would be strong enough to beat my rival's deck and this was one of those times. Since we were using standard rules there was nothing else to worry about and I could just watch the battle proceed.

After I've seen the final result of the battle I was shocked to see that I've actually won. I defeated TESHAV and got +40 rating points and 86 Glint for the win. My rating before this match was 520 and after the win it became 560 which I was quite satisfied with. At least my fire deck worked this time and I didn't waste 53 mana for nothing since I've managed to increase my rating. Right now I'm still in Division 8 so it's pretty much satisfying for me to gain rating points.

Looking into the future

I'm planning on playing with different elements since sometimes it's boring to play with the same ones over and over again. I've also realized that I keep picking the same cards over and over again and it's probably because those are the only ones that I feel comfortable with. I'm also planning on using Jolius Blast more often when there is a mana cap of over 50 since it's kind of a waste to spend 13 mana on a card when I can only use him once per match. All I want right now is to continue winning matches and increasing my rating but I'm hoping that I wouldn't lose all of those rating points in my next few matches. Let's see how far I can go this time.

Climbing Back to Division 8 in Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up Welcome back to my another battle of splinterlands. This time I got a match with mana cap of 45 that I had enough mana to use six cards. I decided to go with Thalgrimore as my deck consisted of Nim Guard Captain Sorrow Harvester Vengeful Monk Great Bear Druid Lenore Nevermore and Careless Badger. My opponent for this battle is SORANIS and I was thinking that I will be losing this match because I have been winning a lot.

For this battle I decided to go with a full six card lineup and the Nim Guard Captain took the first position followed by the Sorrow Harvester. Then I placed the Vengeful Monk and Great Bear Druid in the middle with Lenore Nevermore and Careless Badger taking the last two positions. I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to bring together six cards instead of leaving some of the mana unused. It was a chance for me to see how this combination would work in a real ranked match as well. I want to use a different lineup completely but I have thought at least let me try using death element more after that I can start exploring again.

When the battle started I got to see the enemy's lineup which was looking fierce than I had expected. Both teams had their own combinations and I had to rely on the cards I had selected. It is always fascinating to see how a lineup does once the battle begins as some of the cards I expect to be doing well can surprise me in different ways.

In the end, I was able to win against SORANIS and got +40 rating points and received 84 Glint. My rating reached 520 and I was promoted from Division 9 to Division 8 again. Moving up to another division is a nice step for me and I can now face the battles waiting for me there.

Looking into the future

Now that I am in Division 8, I want to see how the battles go at this level as I have already fallen out of it once. hopefully, this time I can continue to climb up. I have many cards I want to try and may change my lineup depending on the mana cap and rules of each match. I do not want to always be using the same combination every time because experimenting with different cards is just as much fun. Let's see what my next battle brings me and whether I can keep moving forward.

My Unusual Thalgrimore Lineup Takes the Win in Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up Welcome back to my another battle of splinterlands. I have played another Modern ranked match against FAINOR with a mana cap of 26. I have Thalgrimore as my summoner and I got Nim Guard Captain Vengeful Monk and Little Sister for my cards as I wanted to see how these three cards would do in battle.

My Lineup:

I have put in Nim Guard Captain in my first position and then Vengeful Monk. Little Sister has been put in the third position of my lineup. As I had a mana cap of 26 I decided to use these three cards and see how they would perform against the enemy. I wanted to see if this lineup would be enough for me to win another Modern ranked battle.

The battle began and the enemy put a full lineup to fight against my team. Looking at the battlefield I knew that I had to rely on my three cards to deal with the enemy lineup. As it was a ranked battle, I wanted to win and raise my rating rather than lose some points.

As rounds begun both teams continued to fight and I saw my cards battle against the enemy. Even though I only had three cards in my lineup, I was still able to fight until my team eventually won. It was yet another good win for me and I was pleased that my lineup was able to do the job.

I enjoy these ranked matches as every win helps me to progress. Sometimes I use more cards in a battle and sometimes I use a smaller lineup like this one. The key is to find a combination that would be able to win against the enemy and help me climb the ranks.

I have got a +20 rating point and 84 Glint from this match. My rating has reached 480 and I am still in Division 9. I am glad that I have managed to win another match and increase my rating in Modern ranked battles.

Increasing the rating and getting Glint is always a good thing as it allows me to progress in the game. I hope I will be able to make more wins and raise my rating in the upcoming matches.

Looking into the future

I am going to continue to play Thalgrimore and try different combinations of my cards. There are still a lot of cards I want to try in the future battles and I hope that I will be able to increase my rating with more wins. For now, I am satisfied with this victory and looking forward to my next match.

The 13-Round Showdown With Barthalamas - Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up Welcome back to my another battle on splinterlands. This time I played another Modern ranked match against LB-CRAB with a mana cap of 98. I used Barthalamas as my summoner and picked up Jolius Blast Frankarsgard Chaos Furibringer Vengeful Monk Great Bear Druid and New Beluroc Aegis for my lineup as I wanted to see how these six cards would perform in battle.

I placed Jolius Blast in my first position and followed it with Frankarsgard and Chaos Furibringer. Vengeful Monk took the fourth spot while Great Bear Druid and New Beluroc Aegis took my last two spots. With a massive 98 mana cap I had enough room to choose six cards for my lineup and I was curious to see how this battle would turn out against the enemy.

The battle started and both sides prepared to attack each other. The enemy also brought a full lineup and I knew that this match had a lot of cards on the battlefield. Unlike some battles where everything ends quickly this one had a total of 13 rounds which made it a much longer fight.

As the rounds continued both teams kept fighting and the battle became a test of which lineup could last longer. I was glad that I had chosen six cards because I wanted to see how my team would perform in a match with such a high mana cap. Every card had a role to play and I kept watching as the fight continued until my team finally managed to secure the victory.

I really enjoy winning these ranked matches because every victory helps me make progress. A battle with 13 rounds also feels more satisfying than a match that ends after only a couple of rounds. The only sad part is that I've lost matches and I got dropped to division 9 again.

I got a +20 rating point and 83 Glint from this match. My rating reached 460 and I am still in Division 9. I am happy that I managed to win another match and continue making progress in Modern ranked battles.

Getting another victory and earning more Glint is always a good thing because it gives me more reasons to keep playing. I have been trying different cards and lineups in my ranked matches and I hope I can continue winning more battles as I climb the ranks.

I am going to keep using Barthalamas and try out different combinations with my cards. There are still many cards I want to test in future battles and I hope I can increase my rating with more victories. For now I am happy with this win and looking forward to my next match.

Another Step Up the Ranks With Thalgrimore - Splinterlands

Hey Guys what's up Welcome back to my another battle on splinterlands. This time I played another Modern ranked match and used RLYEUL as my enemy with a mana cap of 58. I used thalgrimore as my summoner and picked up Nim Guard Captain Sorrow Harvester Vengeful Monk Great Bear Druid Lenore Nevermore and Black Widow for my lineup as I tried to see what happens with these six cards.

I placed Nim Guard Captain to my first position and followed it with Sorrow Harvester and Vengeful Monk. Great Bear Druid took the fourth spot while Lenore Nevermore and Black Widow took my last two spots. With a 58 mana cap I had sufficient room to use six cards and was eager to see how this match would turn out.

I started the battle and we both attacked each other. My enemy looked like he has a weak lineup and I saw as their cards started to be defeated one after another. After two rounds my team managed to finish off the battle with a victory and I not that much pleased with the match as I wanted a long lasting match which could make my victory feel more enjoyable. I don't know what the enemy was doing while choosing cards. His selection of cards were not good at all and it felt like I can win against him multiple times.

I really like to battle against hard enemy who can last long because it creates a fun environment.

I got a +20 rating point and 85 Glint from this match. My rating is at 520 and I have reached Division 8. I was at rank 9 before and am glad I could level up and make progress.

What also was a great thing about reaching Division 8 is that I unlocked the division rewards. I got 200 Glint and 1 Entry which were good rewards for my win. I have been trying to climb the ranks and now I can continue playing in my new division.

Looking into the future

I am going to keep using Thalgrimore and try out different combinations with my death cards. There are quite a few cards I want to try out and I hope I can raise my rating point with more matches in the future. For now I am happy to reach Division 8 and see where it goes.

Climbing the Ranks With Thalgrimore - Splinterlands

Hello guys what's up welcome back to my another battle on splinterlands. This time I played another Modern ranked match with my death team. The mana cap was 49 and my enemy was ZEPHYRION. I used Thalgrimore as my summoner again and this time I used Sorrow Harvester and Vengeful Monk along with Great Bear Druid Lenore Nevermore and Grand Consul Minion. I wanted to try this combination and see how it would perform in the battle.

As you can see I used five cards for this battle. I put Sorrow Harvester in the first position followed by Vengeful Monk and Great Bear Druid. Lenore Nevermore was my fourth card and I added Grand Consul Minion in the last position. I decided to use this lineup because I wanted to see how these cards would work together against my enemy.

The both teams began attacking each other aggressively. My enemy had selected different cards and I was curious to see that. I kept watching as the battle continued because I wanted to see if my death team could handle the enemy lineup.

As the rounds passed the fight continued and both teams kept attacking each other. I was hoping my cards would be able to hold on until the end. I used Thalgrimore again and this time I managed to get another victory with my death team. I did not have any high hopes from this match but I was satisfied with the results.

So, once again I have earned +40 rating points and have gained 85 glint from the battle. My rating is now at 500 and I am currently in Division 8 and before that I was in Division 9.

It is nice to know that I could achieve another win and gain rewards from the match. Being in Division 8 feels good since I have been trying to raise my rating and it is getting closer to my goal

Looking into the future

I will keep playing with my death team and try out more cards with Thalgrimore. I still have many cards to experiment with and I want to see which combinations work best for me. My rating has reached 500 now and I am happy that I could get another win and reach Division 8. So hopefully I can increase it more in the next few battles. Well let's see how my next match will be.

Thalgrimore Leads My Death Team to Another Victory - Splinterlands

Hello guys what's up welcome back to my another battle on splinterlands. This time I played another Modern ranked match with my death team. The mana cap was 48 and my enemy was WEATHERLOVE. I used Thalgrimore as my summoner again but this time I added Grand Consul Minion to my lineup instead of Lenore Nevermore. I wanted to try this combination and see how it would perform in the battle.

1st: Nim Guard Captain

2nd: Sorrow Harvester

3rd: Vengeful Monk

4th: Great Bear Druid

5th: Grand Consul Minion

6th: Black Widow

As you can see I used six cards for this battle. I put Nim Guard Captain in the first position followed by Sorrow Harvester and Vengeful Monk. Great Bear Druid was my fourth card and I added Grand Consul Minion in the fifth position. Black Widow was my last card. I had enough mana to use all six cards so I decided to give this lineup a try.

The battle started and both teams began attacking each other. My enemy had a different lineup and I was curious to see how my cards would perform against the selected cards on the other side. I kept watching as the battle continued because I wanted to see which cards would last longer.

As the rounds passed some cards were taken down and the fight continued. I was hoping my lineup would be able to hold on until the end. I had used Grand Consul Minion in this battle and it was interesting to see how the whole team would work together. Finally I managed to win the match and got another victory with my death team.

I gained +40 rating points and 84 glint from this battle. My rating is now 460 and I am still in Division 9. I am glad that I could get another win and collect some rewards from the match. But when the match ended I was shocked the points my enemy had when was 500+ and defeating him felt like I have improved a lot in it.

Looking into the future

I will keep playing with my death team and try out more cards with Thalgrimore. I still have many cards to experiment with and I want to see which combinations work best for me. My rating has reached 460 now and that is very unexpected because I was losing a lot these past days and fnally I am back on track. So hopefully I can increase it more in the next few battles. Well let's see how my next match will be.
