Today, I spent 15,000 Glint in Splinterlands to purchase an Epic pack. While I have bought Legendary packs several times in the past, today I opted for an Epic pack, and I managed to pull a really great card! We earn Glint by playing battles and at the end of each season, which is fantastic because it allows us to purchase Legendary, Epic, or other available packs, helping us expand our card collection. I already have a solid collection, but I’m looking to level up my Fire team; to achieve this, I plan to buy a few cards from the market, which should improve my win rate when using the Fire team in battles. I will provide full details about the Epic card I pulled and explain how to level it up.

The card I received belongs to the Fire unit; it is an Epic-rarity card named 'Voss'. This card is quite good—for starters, it only costs 4 mana. It possesses a magic attack. At level 1, it isn't particularly impressive, though it does already feature a magic attack. However, at level 6, the card becomes incredibly attractive and powerful. I personally find it very appealing. At level 6, it boasts strong stats across the board—magic attack, speed, and health. You can use this card effectively even in low-mana battles. In high-mana battles, having it at a higher level will prove to be a significant advantage. I currently have 3 copies of this card; I need just one more to upgrade it to level 2.

Today, I spent 15,000 Glint here and added an excellent card to my collection. If you do this every 3–4 days, your card collection will improve significantly, and you will see an increase in your asset value. The more you invest, the more your collection and account value will grow. With more cards, you will be able to perform upgrades; upgrading makes your cards more powerful, which helps you win battles—so keep collecting and upgrading your cards! Today, I will share a Splinterlands battle with you. In this battle, I’ll highlight a card I received as a reward—a card that effectively reduces the opponent's attack power during combat. To see how this card functions, you’ll need to watch the battle. You’ll discover that a single legendary card can sometimes outperform even a level 10 card; with the right strategy, you can emerge victorious. The card I’m referring to is the "Halfling Alchemist." I received this card as a reward back when I first started playing Splinterlands. Today, it holds significant value, and it remains one of my personal favorites.

Battle Link

The "Halving" ability works as follows: when a monster possessing this ability lands a successful attack on an opponent, the target monster's power is reduced by 50%. You can use this to weaken the opposing team, as the primary function of this ability is to cut the attack power of the targeted monster in half. For instance, if the enemy has a monster with an attack value of 6, a successful strike from your card will reduce that value to 3. This effectively weakens the enemy's team. Furthermore, since this card has a mana cost of only 2, it is well-suited for battles with low mana limits. In one such battle, this card managed to reduce the attack power of two enemy monsters, which helped me secure a victory. By doing so, it also creates opportunities for the other monsters on your team to launch their own attacks against the enemy.

If you upgrade this card to level 4, you gain the 'Redemption' ability. With this ability, whenever your monster is defeated, it deals damage to the entire enemy team—specifically, it inflicts 1 damage to every card on the opponent's side. If you upgrade it to level 6, the card gains a ranged attack value of 2. If you have a Summoner capable of supporting this level, you can certainly take this card up to level 6. I will talk about both the card and the match itself, as these are the two main highlights. I utilized magic-attack units in this battle; I will explain why I chose them and how they helped me secure the victory. The rule in this battle is called "Broken Arrows." Let me explain what it does. The rule states: "You cannot summon units with ranged attacks." As long as this rule is active, you cannot summon new monsters with ranged attacks during the battle. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the rule and select your cards accordingly. For this battle, I have chosen a card named "Goblin Firemage." This card possesses an ability called "Dispel." The function of this ability is that when your monster successfully attacks an enemy, certain positive effects—or "buffs"—applied to the enemy can be removed. If an enemy monster has gained extra speed or any other beneficial buff, attacking it with your "Dispel" monster can remove that applicable buff. That is why this card is excellent for the battle and can be utilized very effectively. It is also a very appealing card; let me tell you more about it.

The Goblin Firemage is an Epic card belonging to the Fire unit. It has a mana cost of just 4, and using it alongside a Dragon Summoner yields excellent results. I currently own this card at Level 2, where it possesses 2 Magic Attack, 3 Health, and 2 Speed. Low-mana cards that deal Magic Attack are incredibly useful, as Magic Attack is considered very powerful in battle. Leveling up this card can make it a formidable force; at Level 5, it boasts 3 Magic Attack, and with the +1 Magic bonus from a Dragon Summoner, it becomes extremely powerful. Today, I reached Silver I in Splinterlands; I have successfully unlocked this tier. I was out of town for much of this season, which is why I couldn't play Splinterlands much or stay active on Hive. However, I am back now, so I plan to be regular here and post on Hive. I am currently at a rating of over 1600 in Splinterlands; while I don't think I'll reach the 1900+ mark, I will certainly try to get there soon. Time is running short, so I feel I might not reach Gold III, but I will still make an effort to hit my target as soon as possible.

Today, I unlocked some boxes and received a lot of cards and tokens; I’ve shared images of them in this post, and I’m really happy about it. I love the cards I get as rewards because they help me level up and enable me to make powerful upgrades. If you look at my collection, I have plenty of cards that I could easily upgrade by 3 or 4 levels, and I am gradually doing just that. Among the cards I’ve acquired, there is one I really like called "Surgeblade." It is an excellent card for my Water team—featuring melee attack power—and I plan to upgrade it to Level 4 soon.

This card isn't just a card; it is a digital asset for your collection that empowers you significantly. In the future, it can boost the overall value of your account—because as the card's value rises, so does the value of your Splinterlands account—making it essential for you to own this item. Possessing Merit Tokens is also crucial, as they strengthen your collection by giving you the opportunity to purchase Legendary Packs. If you own a Taunt card, the composition of the cards placed behind it is crucial; I will provide full details on this and explain the specific combo I used here. The team I assembled relies on cards that support one another, and I will outline the strategy needed to win the battle. I used the 'Shieldbearer' card in the first position, and I will explain how it helped secure the victory.

For the battle, I selected my first card: Shieldbearer. I chose this card because it possesses the 'Taunt' ability, drawing enemy attacks toward itself so that the other cards in my team remain safe. It comes with 4 Armor, 10 Health, and 2 Speed, making it an ideal choice for the lead position. I also added another card to the team: High Priest Darius. I picked this card primarily because it has a Magic Attack power of 3. It also features the 'Resurrect' ability; you really need to watch the battle to see this ability in action, as I wouldn't have been able to secure a proper victory if my lead card hadn't been brought back to life. Essentially, the 'Resurrect' ability revives a fallen card—restoring it with full Armor but only 1 Health—and brings it back into the battle. If you watch the match, you'll see exactly how this strategy played out today.

This is a rare card in the Life unit that can help secure a victory in battle. True to its name, "Shieldbearer," the card functions as a defensive asset. I currently own a Level 2 version of this card; upgrading it to Level 3 would be highly beneficial, as it would boost the melee attack power to 3 and potentially enhance my overall strategy. Today, I’m going to tell you about a Splinterlands battle where I used the Nissa card—which I obtained yesterday from a Legendary pack—and it proved to be incredibly beneficial. I used this card in four or five battles today, and it demonstrated immense power. For the first position, I chose the Kralos card; the reason is its impressive stats—5 Armor, 12 Health, and 3 Speed—which really gave me an advantage in the match. The Nissa card deals significant damage to the enemy. I have provided the battle link below so you can see exactly how I played and how I secured the victory.

Let me explain how I won the battle. I placed the 'Kralus' card in the first position because it protects the entire team; it possesses both a magic attack and a melee attack, making it an excellent choice for the lead spot. I acquired the 'Nissa' card just yesterday, but it is fantastic; I used it in today's battle and it helped me secure the win. It features a magic attack that deals significant damage to the enemy, and considering its overall attributes, it stands out as the best card in the Life Splinter. I positioned 'Stitch Leech' at the end of the lineup because it boasts 3 melee attack, 4 health, and 2 speed. With a mana cost of just 3, this card is highly appealing—especially when you see its impressive attack capabilities in action during the battle.

There is one particular card in this battle that stands out as my favorite among the Neutral units: the "Mindless Liquid." It boasts 3 magic attack points and a speed of 5—a stat I really value, as I’ve mentioned before that speed is crucial in Splinterlands; higher speed allows for a much more effective attack. This card also possesses the "Resurrect" ability, meaning it can come back to life after being defeated. Because it has the potential to turn a losing battle into a win, I really like using it. The card I’ve acquired is one I don’t recall seeing before, and it is going to be very special to me; it is incredibly attractive. It is a Legendary card from the Life Unit and possesses the "Flying" ability, which protects against Earthquake damage. The Life Splinter features many such impressive cards that can win battles in spectacular fashion. The card I am referring to is named "Nissa." Let me share some more details about it with you.

This card has a mana cost of 9. You can use it in battles that allow for higher mana costs. It possesses a magic attack value of 3. Currently, it is at Level 1, with 6 Health and 4 Speed. Speed is crucial for Legendary cards; higher speed increases attack effectiveness, helping us secure a victory. It features the "True Strike" ability, meaning its attacks never miss—which makes it a very special card. Deploying it in high-mana battles allows us to defeat the enemy and win the match. Artificial Intelligence—or AI—is a part of our lives. While AI was not widely known until recently, it has now become an integral part of our existence. Today, everyone needs AI, and we all use it. The question arises: is AI our enemy, or is it our responsibility? Humans are the ones who invent and create technology; we use it with the aim of making our lives easier. While some people use it correctly and others misuse it, that does not mean the technology itself is flawed. Yes, we should be mindful of potential misuse during development, but if someone deliberately misuses it, the fault lies with the individual, not the technology.

Today, people can use AI for learning. A businessperson can get ideas on how to expand their business. If we need an idea to create something new, we can use AI for that as well. These are the benefits of this technology. However, if someone uses it for the wrong purposes, the fault lies solely with that individual; it implies they failed to act responsibly.

Let me explain this to you with an example.

Humans invented the camera, enabling us to capture images—ranging from distant scenes to the tiniest of objects. This technology has been incredibly significant, offering the potential to bring about positive changes in our lives; however, if a person misuses this invention, the fault lies with them, not the technology. If someone’s privacy is violated due to a camera, it means the individual failed to act responsibly and abused the technology—yet we cannot blame the technology itself. Humans must exercise responsibility; if that responsibility is disregarded, the technology can be misused. AI is similar in this regard. It has simplified many tasks for us, but as it becomes increasingly powerful, concerns regarding its potential misuse are also growing.

Technology gives us power, but how we use that power is our responsibility.

AI is created by humans. When developing AI systems, we must ensure that the technology is not misused; preventing the abuse of power is crucial. I believe AI will become increasingly integrated into our lives in the future. Halting its progress entirely is likely not a practical solution. Instead, we need to understand AI and learn to distinguish between its proper and improper use.

Is AI our enemy? I would ask—are we responsible enough to use AI?

AI is a powerful tool. Like any powerful tool, the outcome depends on the user's intent. Ultimately, technology can shape our future; therefore, rather than fearing AI, we need to learn how to use it correctly and responsibly. I believe this understanding is vital because AI is a boon for us.

Conclusion

I would say that humans create technology, yet they can also become its destroyers. I am not speaking about everyone, but if individuals understood their responsibilities, they would never harm others. AI is a tool created by humans; it follows the instructions given to it. Consequently, the tool only responds based on the input it receives from us—it simply executes what we command. How technology is used depends entirely on human mindset. While people may have either positive or negative intentions, technology itself cannot be labeled as "wrong." Since human judgment can be flawed—unlike technology—everyone should strive to use technology correctly.

Today, I’m going to share details about a Splinterlands battle. For this match, I chose melee attack cards. While I usually rely on magic attacks in Water-themed battles, I opted for melee cards this time. This battle was special for me; specific strategies and the cards I selected enabled me to secure the win. It was a truly exciting and epic match. The card named "Carnaluse" put up a fierce fight against the enemy team and ultimately clinched the victory for me—it is, without a doubt, my most powerful card to date. Both teams put up a spectacular fight, and the cards from both sides performed impressively throughout the match.

One card on my team really stood out in the battle, putting up a fierce fight against the enemy; that card is 'The'. The combination of this card and 'Carnalus' had a significant impact on the opposing team. There is another incredibly powerful card on the team—'Carnage Titan'—which dealt heavy damage to the enemy. This card attacks twice in a single turn with a damage value of 2 per hit, resulting in a total of 4 damage; this provides a huge advantage in winning the battle. Another highly powerful card that launched frequent attacks and inflicted damage on the enemy is 'Surajblade'. It possesses a melee attack power of 3, causing substantial damage to the enemy team.

Today, I am going to tell you about a Fire unit card in Splinterlands. This is a very powerful card in my collection. It is a Legendary unit card that features a ranged attack. It has a mana cost of 8, along with 2 Armor, 6 Health, and 3 Speed. This Fire unit card possesses the 'Blast' ability. Placing it in the last position can be highly advantageous; in that spot, it can deliver an exceptional performance in battle. From what I have seen, this card can be upgraded to Level 2, which grants it +1 Health.

This card currently has a market value of $0.11. Since there isn't a significant difference upon upgrading, keeping it at Level 1 is a viable option. Its "Blast" ability makes it highly attractive; when it attacks a target, the damage also extends to the cards positioned behind and adjacent to the target. I have observed this ability in action, and the card delivers powerful attacks during battle. Because it deals damage to adjacent cards—effectively hitting multiple targets with a single move—it performs exceptionally well in combat, potentially bringing us closer to victory..
