Estoy muy feliz de volver aquí y es un placer compartir de nuevo con ustedes. Yo soy una persona muy apasionada del contenido en este caso películas, series y de todo un poco que siempre deja huellas en el corazón y en el alma.

Muchos lo sabrán, pero soy fanática de los clásicos y del cine retro. No sé, es como que hay algo mágico y nostálgico en ver producciones de décadas pasadas, y al verlas te das cuenta de que simplemente no pasan de moda. Hoy quiero hablarles de una película que es de mis favoritas de todos los tiempos, la cual tiene por nombre Volver al Futuro. De verdad estoy súper feliz de haberla visto otra vez el día de hoy, porque me sacó más de una sonrisa.

As many of you probably know, I’m a huge fan of classics and retro cinema. I don’t know, there’s just something magical and nostalgic about watching films from decades past, and when you watch them, you realize they simply never go out of style. Today I want to talk to you about one of my all-time favorite movies, "Back to the Future". I’m really, really happy to have watched it again today it brought a smile to my face more than once.

This story introduces us to our protagonist, Marty McFly, a 17 year-old boy living in 1985 who is friends with Dr. Brown, a mad scientist of that era. One day, Marty decides to accompany the doctor on a time travel experiment, but due to an unforeseen mishap, he ends up in a rather compromising situation and travels back in time aboard the time machine built into a DeLorean. From there, a great adventure begins, because traveling to the past comes at a price and sets off a series of events that should never have happened. Among other things, Marty is forced to correct serious mistakes and ensure that his parents meet and fall in love, since his very existence and his ability to return to the future depends on it.

Esta película tiene un toque muy nostálgico, divertido, emotivo y súper bonito de ver. Hablando del mundo retro, es una época que yo no viví porque no había nacido, pero cuando escucho a mi mamá o a mis tíos hablar de ella, me comentaban muchas cosas que sonaban muy divertidas; me hablaban de películas y series que me llamaban muchísimo la atención, y creo que de ahí nace mi gusto por esa era. Una de las razones por las que me fascinó la película es cómo refleja esa época: la vestimenta, los peinados, la actitud... me encantó demasiado ver todo eso en pantalla.

¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Scrobble.life! Hoy quiero compartirles mis impresiones sobre la nueva serie de Carrie. Les cuento que voy por la mitad del último capítulo todavía no lo he terminado por completo, pero la verdad es que la serie me ha gustado bastante.

Personalmente, soy muy fan de Mike Flanagan. Es un director que conozco desde hace como unos cinco años y todas las series que saca para mí son una joyita. La primera que vi de él fue The Haunting of Hill House y a partir de ahí comencé a ver las otras y quedé enamoradísima de su trabajo. Por eso estaba muy emocionada e intrigada por ver cómo se iba a desarrollar esta historia de Carrie. Ya he visto bastantes adaptaciones en películas y no digo que sean malas obviamente no son exactamente iguales al libro, pero cada una tiene sus detalles y explora el mundo de Carrie a su manera. Tenía mucha curiosidad por ver el enfoque que le darían.

Hello everyone in the Scrobble.life community! Today I want to share my thoughts on the new Carrie series. I have to tell you that I'm halfway through the last episode—I haven't completely finished it yet—but honestly, I've really been enjoying the series.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of Mike Flanagan. He is a director I've been following for about five years now, and for me, every series he releases is a total gem. The first one I watched was The Haunting of Hill House, and from then on I started watching the others and fell completely in love with his work. That's why I was so excited and intrigued to see how this story of Carrie was going to develop. I've already seen several movie adaptations, and I'm not saying they're bad—obviously they aren't identical to the book—but each one has its own details and explores Carrie's world in its own way. I was very curious to see what approach they would take.

Hablando un poco de la sinopsis, en esta historia tenemos como protagonista a Carrie White, una chica que ha vivido toda su vida en su casa con su mamá y su papá, prácticamente aislada y excluida del mundo exterior. Carrie proviene de una familia extremadamente religiosa, de esas que llevan todo al límite. Las cosas se empiezan a poner bastante extrañas cuando ella comienza a presentar habilidades telequinéticas, pero de las cuales se empieza a dar cuenta apenas cuando entra a la secundaria. A partir de ahí, el contraste entre su vida encerrada con sus padres y el choque con el mundo de los demás adolescentes desencadena toda la trama de la serie.

To give you a quick synopsis, in this story our main character is Carrie White, a girl who has spent her entire life at home with her mother and father, practically isolated and excluded from the outside world. Carrie comes from an extremely religious family—the kind that takes everything to the absolute extreme. Things start to get really weird when she begins to show telekinetic abilities, which she only starts to realize she has once she enters high school. From that point on, the contrast between her sheltered life with her parents and the clash with the teenage world sets off the entire plot of the series.

La serie nos presenta una premisa diferente, bastante fresca, pero manteniendo la esencia original. No es 100% igual al libro, realmente no lo es, pero me llamó muchísimo la atención cómo jugaron con la historia y juntaron varios factores para traerla a la actualidad.

Lo que me gustó muchísimo fue que combinaron la trama clásica con el ciberbullying y el acoso escolar. Todos sabemos que a Carrie le hicieron mucho daño en la historia, pero conectar eso con la tecnología y las redes sociales le dio un toque muy real. No digo que las redes sociales sean malas por sí solas, pero cómo se utilizan de forma negativa puede dañarle la vida a una persona. Fue una decisión genial e interesante de ver.

The series presents a different, quite fresh premise, while still keeping the original essence. It is not 100% like the book, it really isn't, but I was very impressed by how they played with the story and combined various factors to bring it into modern times.

Hoy paso por aquí para compartirles mi opinión sobre un libro que me gustó muchísimo y que leí en Wattpad, una plataforma que ha sido de mis favoritas desde hace años para leer romance, fantasía, acción y de todo un poco.

El libro del que les quiero hablar hoy se titula Touchdown, de la autora María Arcia. Sinceramente me entretuvo un montón, fue una lectura emocionante y la disfruté de principio a fin. Yo soy mega fan del romance deportivo (sport romance) desde hace tiempo; de hecho, la mayoría de los libros que leo suelen ser de este género.

A este libro lo veía por todos lados: me salía en recomendaciones de Facebook, Instagram y hasta en TikTok. Al final me animé a darle una oportunidad y de verdad no me arrepiento para nada. Fue una historia súper bonita que me hizo pasar un rato increíble, y creo que ya se convirtió en uno de mis libros favoritos del género.

I’m stopping by today to share my thoughts on a book I really loved and read on Wattpad, a platform that’s been one of my favorites for years for reading romance, fantasy, action, and a little bit of everything.

The book I want to talk about today is called Touchdown, by author María Arcia. Honestly, it kept me entertained the whole time—it was a thrilling read, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. I’ve been a huge fan of sports romance for a long time; in fact, most of the books I read tend to be in this genre.

I kept seeing this book everywhere: it popped up in recommendations on Facebook, Instagram, and even TikTok. I finally decided to give it a try, and I really don’t regret it at all. It was a really lovely story that gave me an incredible time, and I think it’s already become one of my favorite books in the genre.

En esta historia nuestros protagonistas son dos jóvenes que se conocen desde que eran pequeños en la prepa, donde se enamoraron y vivieron algo muy bonito. Nuestra protagonista se llama Verónica y nuestro protagonista es Erick.

Aunque al principio todo era muy hermoso entre ellos, un evento trágico y muy difícil de superar cambió sus vidas por completo y terminó separándolos. De ese momento tan complicado nació un pequeñito muy lindo, quien se convierte en una parte fundamental y hermosa de toda esta historia.

Las cosas se vuelven súper complicadas y emocionales años después, cuando Verónica entra a trabajar directamente en el mismo equipo donde Erick juega como estrella de fútbol americano. Al volverse a reencontrar se desata un torbellino de emociones: los dos intentan frenarse y se niegan a volver a enamorarse por todo el dolor del pasado, pero la química y el sentimiento entre ambos es simplemente inevitable.

In this story, our main characters are two young people who have known each other since they were kids in high school, where they fell in love and shared a very beautiful experience. Our female lead is named Verónica, and our male lead is Erick.

Although everything was wonderful between them at first, a tragic event—one that was very difficult to overcome—completely changed their lives and ultimately drove them apart. From that difficult time, a very cute little boy was born, who becomes a fundamental and beautiful part of this entire story.

Things get incredibly complicated and emotional years later, when Verónica starts working on the very same team where Erick plays as a star American football player. When they reunite, a whirlwind of emotions is unleashed: both try to hold back and refuse to fall in love again because of all the pain from the past, but the chemistry and feelings between them are simply inevitable.

Al empezar a leer, quedé atrapada de inmediato al ir descubriendo la dinámica de los personajes y entender qué fue lo que realmente pasó entre ellos. Pude ponerme totalmente en los zapatos de Verónica y entender por qué decidió guardarle ciertos secretos a Erick: en gran parte por el rencor acumulado tras un evento tan doloroso, pero sobre todo por el inmenso miedo que sentía de contarle la verdad y que él la mirara de una forma diferente.

🎬 Un poco de contexto

Resulta que todo arranca con Tina Gray, una chica de Elm Street que empieza a tener una pesadilla espantosa: un hombre desfigurado, con una chompa a rayas, sombrero y unos guantes con cuchillas, la persigue sin parar. Lo peor es que, al despertar, tiene heridas reales que coinciden exactamente con lo que le pasó en el sueño.

Tina les cuenta lo sucedido a sus amigos Nancy, Glen y Rod, pero ninguno comprende realmente qué está pasando. Poco después, Tina muere de una manera brutal mientras duerme. Lo inquietante es que sus amigos están presentes y parece que algo invisible la está atacando.

A partir de ahí, Nancy comienza a experimentar las mismas pesadillas y descubre que el asesino puede atacar a sus víctimas mientras duermen.

Nancy empieza a investigar y descubre que Freddy no es simplemente una criatura de sus sueños. Años atrás, Freddy Krueger había sido un asesino de niños que vivía en Elm Street. Fue capturado, pero quedó libre debido a un error.

Los padres de los niños asesinados, enfurecidos porque Freddy no había recibido su merecido castigo, decidieron tomar venganza por su propia mano y lo quemaron vivo. Sin embargo, regresó de una extraña manera sobrenatural.

Ahora puede entrar en los sueños de los adolescentes y matarlos mientras duermen. Eso significa que si mueres en el sueño, también mueres en la realidad, y eso es lo más atemorizante para ellos.

Nancy intenta mantenerse despierta para evitar que Freddy la encuentre, pero obviamente eso tiene un límite, además de que Freddy utiliza los sueños para manipular la realidad, aparecer donde quiere y jugar psicológicamente con sus víctimas.

💀 Partes muy tétricas para mí

Creo que esta fue una de mis primeras películas de terror que vi. Como algunos ya sabrán, no me gustan del todo porque soy muy miedosa, jeje.

Pero siento que esta, como decía en el resumen, juega con la parte psicológica de los personajes, y es más frustrante porque tú no puedes hacer nada al respecto; además, estar sin dormir no es posible.

Me encanta que en varias series animadas hayan puesto de referencia a esta película; se me ocurren, por ejemplo, Los Simpson, Rick y Morty, entre otras.

Una de las escenas más dramáticas es cuando asesinan a Tina: ella está soñando y ve que Freddy empieza a atacarla. Pero en la realidad se veía como algo la arrastraba y la elevaba por los aires hasta matarla. Nadie sabe qué hacer para ayudarla, ¡qué miedo! Jeje.

[Movie] [Movie] Black Swan (2010) | La cara oscura de la perfección y la danza

¡Hola a toda la comunidad de Scrobble.life! Vuelvo por aquí para compartirles mi opinión sobre una película que vi hace un tiempo y que de verdad me pareció muy buena e interesante: El cisne negro (Black Swan). Es una película con mucho drama, suspenso psicológico y misterio. A mí me llaman muchísimo la atención este tipo de películas porque te mantienen atrapada de principio a fin.

Esta historia me tocó de una forma especial porque cuando era pequeña fui bailarina. Aunque no duré mucho tiempo en la danza, sí conocí de cerca lo exigente y disciplinado que es este mundo. Siempre he admirado la dedicación y el esfuerzo que requiere, pero siento que en el ballet clásico todo esto se lleva a un nivel mucho más extremo.

Black Swan me pareció una historia fascinante que te muestra una realidad que muchas personas suelen negar sobre la búsqueda de la perfección. Es una excelente opción para verla, pensarla un poco y debatir sobre lo que transmite.

Hello to the entire Scrobble.life community! I'm back here to share my thoughts on a movie I watched a while ago that I found really good and interesting: Black Swan. It is a movie filled with drama, psychological suspense, and mystery. I am very drawn to these kinds of movies because they keep you hooked from start to finish.

This story touched me in a special way because when I was little, I was a dancer. Although I didn't stay in dance for very long, I did experience firsthand how demanding and disciplined this world is. I have always admired the dedication and effort it requires, but I feel that in classical ballet, all of this is taken to a much more extreme level.

Black Swan felt like a fascinating story to me, exposing a reality that many people often deny regarding the pursuit of perfection. It is a great movie to watch, reflect on, and discuss what it conveys.

En la premisa tenemos a Nina Sayers, una bailarina de ballet que entrena muy muy duro para convertirse en la protagonista de El lago de los cisnes. Sin embargo, en su trayecto por esforzarse y dar todo de sí, Nina empieza a perder totalmente el sentido del juicio y de la realidad. Toda esta presión afecta su psique, y todo empeora cuando llega una nueva compañera y ella siente que amenaza con usurpar el papel principal que tanto desea. Desde este momento todo se vuelve muy oscuro, y te das cuenta de cuáles son sus miedos y cómo las personas a su alrededor también tienen cosas bastante oscuras.

The premise introduces us to Nina Sayers, a ballet dancer who trains very, very hard to become the lead in Swan Lake. However, in her effort to push herself and give her all, Nina begins to completely lose her sense of reality and judgment. All this pressure affects her psyche, and things get worse when a new dancer arrives and Nina feels she is threatening to take the lead role she wants so badly. From this moment on, everything becomes very dark, revealing her deepest fears and showing how the people around her also have quite dark sides.

Sinceramente, la película me pareció muy buena y muy interesante. Este tipo de tramas suelen ser bastante atractivas al público y efectivamente lo fue para mí. La producción estuvo muy bien realizada; el director Darren Aronofsky es de los mejores que he visto porque cada película suya me sorprende, siempre con ese toque dramático y psicológico que me llama muchísimo la atención.

Hablando de la historia, me parece fascinante. Está ambientada en una academia de ballet profesional y nos enseña el mundo real de lo que es la danza. Muestran una realidad que muchos niegan: la búsqueda de la perfección. Y esto va más allá del ballet. Conozco personas que han llegado a sufrir trastornos alimenticios, problemas mentales y dificultades para socializar por este tipo de presiones. En el ballet profesional hay mucha competencia, esa necesidad de siempre ser la mejor de la clase, la más dedicada y la que consiga los mejores papeles. Aunque se vea como un mundo muy lindo, elegante y de color rosa, tiene una oscuridad bastante fuerte, competitiva y muy tóxica.

Honestly, I found the movie to be very good and very interesting. These types of plots are usually quite appealing to the audience, and it certainly was for me. The production was very well done; director Darren Aronofsky is one of the best I've seen because every movie of his surprises me, always having that dramatic and psychological touch that really catches my attention.

Reseña y análisis de la saga Pecados Placenteros | Review and Analysis of the “Pleasant Sins” Series

Estoy súper emocionada de estar por acá de regreso. El día de hoy vengo a hablarles sobre una saga que me atrapó desde el primer instante: Pecados Placenteros, escrita por Eva Muñoz. Sé perfectamente que esta historia genera opiniones muy divididas; mientras a muchos nos encanta, para otros no es para nada de su agrado. ¡Y es totalmente válido, para gustos hay un sinfín de colores!

Sin embargo, en esta reseña no me quiero limitar a discutir solo el romance o los comportamientos tóxicos de algunos personajes —que sin duda los hay y entran en un debate necesario—. Lo que realmente me fascinó y me impulsó a escribirles hoy es cómo la autora te envuelve en una cascada de emociones, amenazas, estrategia militar y manejo de información que son importantes de analizar. Aunque la saga todavía no está terminada y voy por la mitad del tercer libro, la experiencia de leerla y conocer este universo ha sido increíble y hoy quiero contarles qué tal me pareció.

I'm super excited to be back here. Today I come to talk to you about a saga that caught me from the very first moment: Pleasant Sin, written by Eva Muñoz. I know perfectly well that this story generates very divided opinions; while many of us love it, for others it is not at all your liking. And it's totally valid, for tastes there are countless colors!

However, in this review I do not want to limit myself to discussing only the romance or toxic behaviors of some characters - which certainly there are and enter into a necessary debate. What really fascinated me and prompted me to write to you today is how the author wraps you in a waterfall of emotions, threats, military strategy and information management that are important to analyze. Although the saga is not yet finished and I go in the middle of the third book, the experience of reading it and knowing this universe has been amazing and today I want to tell you how it seemed.

En esta historia nos adentramos en el universo de la FEM (Fuerza Especial Militar) en Londres, una organización de altísimo rango que se encarga de capturar a los criminales más famosos y peligrosos de la élite mundial. Por un lado tenemos a Rachel James, una teniente muy conocida, atrevida, fuerte, audaz, súper inteligente y especialista en combate, que además viene de una familia amorosa y estable.

Por el otro lado aparece el personaje más polémico de la historia, al que yo le digo "el loco": el coronel Christopher Morgan. Christopher es un hombre sumamente apuesto, pero también frío, impulsivo, déspota y con actitudes bien feas y tóxicas en muchos momentos. A este hombre no le importa pasar por encima de nadie, y mucho menos coquetearle de forma indecente a Rachel, creando un bucle y un mundo lleno de demasiadas cosas.

Pero más allá de si Christopher es un hombre tóxico o de la relación entre ellos dos, lo que realmente sostiene la historia es cómo la autora nos habla de un mundo de criminales, narcotráfico, militares y demás temas que hoy en día son tabú. Eva Muñoz se tomó el tiempo de investigar y estudiar todo este contexto para darnos una trama muy bien elaborada sobre el crimen de élite que te mantiene atrapada en todo momento.

In this story, we delve into the world of the FEM (Military Special Forces) in London, a high-ranking organization tasked with capturing the most notorious and dangerous criminals among the global elite. On one hand, we have Rachel James, a well-known lieutenant who is daring, strong, bold, extremely intelligent, and a combat specialist—and who also comes from a loving and stable family.

On the other hand, we have the most controversial character in the story, whom I call “the madman”: Colonel Christopher Morgan. Christopher is an extremely handsome man, but he’s also cold, impulsive, despotic, and displays truly awful and toxic behavior at times. This man doesn’t care about stepping on anyone to get what he wants, much less flirting indecently with Rachel, creating a vicious cycle and a world filled with far too much drama.

But beyond whether Christopher is a toxic man or the nature of their relationship, what really drives the story is how the author takes us into a world of criminals, drug trafficking, the military, and other topics that are taboo today. Eva Muñoz took the time to research and study this entire context to give us a very well-crafted plot about elite crime that keeps you hooked from start to finish.

[Movie] [Movie] Not Okay (2022) | La falsa empatía y las consecuencias de buscar atención

Hola a toda la comunidad de Scrobble.life! Regreso por aquí para hablarles de una película que ya he visto dos veces. Recientemente la volví a ver porque necesitaba refrescar un poco la historia y analizarla otra vez, ya que trae temas muy importantes que pueden dar para un gran debate. Quise dedicarle este post para explicarles por qué me gustó tanto, pues creo que deja un mensaje y una enseñanza fundamental en la sociedad de hoy en día. De verdad espero que puedan disfrutar mucho de mi post.

I recently watched it again because I needed to refresh my memory of the story a bit and analyze it once more, since it touches on very important topics that can spark a great debate. I wanted to dedicate this post to explaining why I liked it so much, because I think it conveys a message and a fundamental lesson for today’s society. I really hope you enjoy my post.

Comenzamos con la sinopsis. La historia nos habla sobre nuestra protagonista, Danni Sanders, una mujer de veintitantos años que trabaja en una empresa editorial donde se manejan revistas, influencers y artistas. Ella es simplemente una editora, pero aspira a ser más, aspira a ser popular y por ende empieza a tomar decisiones bastante malas y equivocadas simplemente para encajar.

Desde este punto la trama se torna un poquito más oscura. Para poder encajar en ese mundo y atraer la atención de Colin, un influencer muy famoso dentro de la empresa, Danni decide inventarse que fue a Francia a un intercambio de escritores y editores. Sin embargo, resulta que ese mismo día que supuestamente estuvo en Francia ocurre un atentado terrorista real, por lo que toda la situación se complica muchísimo a partir de allí.

Let’s start with the synopsis. The story is about our protagonist, Danni Sanders, a woman in her twenties who works at a publishing company that handles magazines, influencers, and artists. She’s just an editor, but she aspires to be more—she wants to be popular—and so she starts making some pretty bad and misguided decisions just to fit in.

From this point on, the plot takes a slightly darker turn. To fit into that world and attract the attention of Colin, a very famous influencer within the company, Danni decides to make up a story that she went to France for a writers’ and editors’ exchange program. However, it turns out that on the very day she was supposedly in France, a real terrorist attack takes place, so the whole situation gets incredibly complicated from there on.

Siento que es fundamental hablar de esta película por el mensaje tan fuerte que transmite, aunque debo confesar que la protagonista me pareció una persona terrible. Intenté tener empatía por Danni en algún momento, pero me fue completamente imposible. No solo se equivocó de forma grave desde el principio, sino que cuando tuvo la oportunidad de redimirse y decir la verdad, prefirió hacer la bola de nieve cada vez más grande. Llevaba muchísimo tiempo sin detestar tanto a un personaje, y mucho menos a una protagonista.

Cuando ella se entera por las noticias de que ocurrió el atentado en los mismos lugares donde supuestamente estuvo paseando, no sabe cómo lidiar con la situación. Pero en lugar de admitir la verdad, decide seguir con la farsa porque sabe que esto la convierte en la «víctima» de un evento trágico, algo que para nada la hace una mártir. Empieza a aprovecharse descaradamente de la tragedia, gana miles de seguidores, se vuelve súper famosa y la gente la empieza a llamar «la sobreviviente».

Hola a todos en la comunidad de Scrobble.life! Qué felicidad estar de vuelta por aquí. Ayer por fin me senté a ver La hipótesis del amor, la película que acaba de estrenarse en Prime Video. Tenía muchísimas ganas de verla porque soy súper fan de los libros y la lectura, así que le tenía la lupa puesta a esta adaptación desde hace tiempo. Hello, everyone in the Scrobble.life community! I’m so happy to be back here. Yesterday I finally sat down to watch The Hypothesis of Love, the movie that just premiered on Prime Video. I was really looking forward to seeing it because I’m a huge fan of books and reading, so I’ve been keeping a close eye on this adaptation for a while now. Today I want to share my review and honest analysis of what I thought of it. I’ve posted my full analysis in this post—I hope you enjoy it!

La historia nos presenta a Olive Smith, una joven brillante que entra a la Universidad de Stanford para cursar su doctorado en ciencias biológicas y poder desarrollar un proyecto de investigación muy importante para ella. Allí construye un bonito grupo con sus mejores amigos, pero las cosas se complican un poco cuando intenta convencer a su mejor amiga de que ya superó un viejo flechazo para que ella pueda salir con él. Para salir del apuro y probar que "ya paso página", Olive besa impulsivamente al primer hombre que se cruza en su camino en el laboratorio. El problema es que ese hombre resulta ser el Dr. Adam Carlsen, un profesor de neurociencias famoso en todo el campus por ser extremadamente estricto y el auténtico terror de los estudiantes.

The story introduces us to Olive Smith, a brilliant young woman who enrolls at Stanford University to pursue a Ph.D. in biological sciences and work on a research project that’s very important to her. There, she forms a close-knit group with her best friends, but things get a little complicated when she tries to convince her best friend that she’s moved on from an old crush so that her friend can go out with him. To get out of a tight spot and prove that she’s “moved on,” Olive impulsively kisses the first man who crosses her path in the lab. The problem is that this man turns out to be Dr. Adam Carlsen, a neuroscience professor famous across campus for being extremely strict and the students’ worst nightmare.

Empezando por los protagonistas, debo decir que el trabajo de Lili Reinhart y Tom Bateman me pareció sencillamente espectacular. Amo a Lili Reinhart, es una de mis actrices favoritas de siempre, así que verla darle vida a un personaje que ya apreciaba tanto desde los libros fue una experiencia hermosísima. Lili tiene una expresividad increíble; su mirada transmite una nostalgia y una vulnerabilidad tan reales que era imposible no conectar con todo lo que atravesaba Olive en la pantalla. Logró transmitir cada una de sus emociones de una forma súper genuina.

Starting with the lead actors, I have to say that I thought Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman’s performances were simply spectacular. I love Lili Reinhart—she’s always been one of my favorite actresses—so seeing her bring to life a character I already loved so much from the books was a truly wonderful experience. Lili is incredibly expressive; her gaze conveys such genuine nostalgia and vulnerability that it was impossible not to connect with everything Olive was going through on screen. She managed to convey each of her emotions in a truly authentic way.

Hoy quiero comentarles mi experiencia viendo una película que desde hace mucho tiempo había querido ver, El Resplandor. Me gustaría compartirles lo que significó para mí, mis expectativas, de qué trata un poco la trama y qué sentido tiene todo este drama.

Hello, Scrobble.Life community. I'm new here and I'm here to explore my thoughts on movies. Today I want to tell you about my experience watching a movie I've wanted to see for a long time The Shining. I'd like to share what it meant to me, my expectations, a little about the plot, and what all this drama is really about.

La película trata sobre un matrimonio, Jack y Wendy, quienes tienen un hijo llamado Danny. Jack es un escritor en busca de inspiración a quien le dan la oportunidad de ser el cuidador de un hotel muy famoso llamado el Hotel Overlook. Wendy, Danny y Jack viajan hacia allá para conocer el lugar donde van a vivir durante esos meses, ver la oportunidad que se les presenta y, por supuesto, Jack espera encontrar muchísima inspiración.

Con el paso del tiempo, Jack se da cuenta de que ocurren muchas cosas extrañas ve imágenes donde no las hay, observa personas y experimenta una inspiración que resurge de las cenizas de un momento para otro. Sin embargo, Wendy y Danny notan que la situación se está desviando por el camino equivocado. Danny tiene visiones y pensamientos muy particulares, ya que posee una habilidad que le permite ver más allá. Debido a esto, todo lo que sucede en el hotel se vuelve muy extraño y tenebroso.

The movie is about a married couple, Jack and Wendy, who have a son named Danny. Jack is a writer in search of inspiration who is offered the opportunity to become the caretaker of a very famous hotel called the Overlook Hotel. Wendy, Danny, and Jack travel there to get to know the place where they’ll be living for the next few months, to check out the opportunity that’s come their way, and, of course, Jack hopes to find plenty of inspiration.

As time goes on, Jack realizes that many strange things are happening he sees images where there are none, observes people, and experiences inspiration that resurfaces out of nowhere. However, Wendy and Danny sense that the situation is heading in the wrong direction. Danny has very peculiar visions and thoughts, as he possesses an ability that allows him to see beyond the ordinary. Because of this, everything that happens at the hotel becomes very strange and eerie.

Es una película que tenía muchísimas ganas de ver desde hace tiempo. Aún no he tenido la oportunidad de leer el libro de Stephen King aunque me encantaría hacerlo más adelante para comparar ambas versiones, pero decidí lanzarme directamente con la adaptación cinematográfica. Aparte de contar con un gran actor como Jack Nicholson, me llamaba mucho la atención ver el trasfondo de la historia, las actuaciones, la dirección de Stanley Kubrick y ese apartado visual y de fotografía que siempre se comenta.

Entrando en el tema de las actuaciones, me pareció un trabajo muy bueno por parte de todo el elenco

This is a movie I’ve been really looking forward to seeing for a long time. I haven’t had the chance to read Stephen King’s book yet though I’d love to do so later to compare the two versions but I decided to dive right into the film adaptation. Aside from featuring a great actor like Jack Nicholson, I was really drawn to the story’s background, the performances, Stanley Kubrick’s direction, and the visuals and cinematography that are always talked about.

La interpretación de Jack Nicholson me pareció realmente tenebrosa y me dio muchísimo miedo. Daba la impresión de no estar viendo a un actor, sino a la persona misma transmitiéndote ese horror en pantalla. Sentí perfectamente cómo su mente se iba degradando progresivamente y cómo caía en una espiral de locura indescriptible hasta convertirse en una presencia espeluznante dentro del hotel.
