I barely remember Enola Holmes 2, so I watched this 3rd volume without remembering a lot about the villain from the 2nd, which is repeated in this one, by the way. Well, the 2nd movie was 4 years ago, so that's why maybe I didn't remember much. Time passes fast! [Available at the Movie DB]</a>} </div> <p></p><p>  As always,s the pair Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown are the center of the movie as the Holmes brothers. And Enola isn't part of the original mythology of the most important detective in books of time. Enola Holmes was created by a different author in 2006 to target young readers. But I guess it creates an interesting history of seeing both brothers working together in mysteries. While the original version of Sherlock Holmes plays more as a pair with Dr.Watson. Here, Dr. Watson loses a bit of his shine, and he is just a mere coadjuvant, and to be frank, I don't think that the actor here matches Dr.Watson. </p><p>  But those are problems since the beginning of the Enola Holmes series. So again, we show here the contrast of similarities and differences between Enola and Sherlock. Both are intelligent and good at solving mysteries, but Sherlock is colder while Enola is more emotive. That is the good thing about the movie: the chemistry of both characters. But I think that this movie was very linear and predictable; we know the villain in an early stage of the movie. Well, Moriarty in the original SherlockHolmess story is a true villain, so it makes sense, but here she is a woman. </p><p>  Another thing that was bad in the movie is that Sherlock, different from the second movie,e isn't an active partner throughout the movie since the plot has him being kidnapped by Moriarty, and Enola is responsible for rescuing him by herself. So we don't see an active partnership like the other movies. But I think I need to watch it, and it was a great opportunity to make some bonds with my wife. Some were the kind we already expect, but others gave me perspectives that led me to launch a new campaign to incentivize tests. </p><p>  Basically, since I created it, I have been transparent about the goal of the project, which is to reach people who don't want or are afraid to jump into investments in different blockchains. I have always been curious about testing new projects and blockchains. I lost some money doing that, but it is a nice experience to test. Not everyone has this willingness to test different technologies. So this project solve that for those who don't want to think a lot or just for some reason never will step outside Hive. In this volume w, we see a new alliance, and we see Doshi, direct subordinates to Lord Tensen. Different from the giants Shoshins who don't speak, these human hybrids speak and are a bit disgusting. The tree guy Hoko also presents all the Lords Tensen on the Island and their divine association. For now, we have met Zhu Jin (Ragnant Yuanjun Tathata), who fought Gabimaru and Tenza/Shion, plus Ju Fa (Heavenly Dadi Aksho) and Tao Fa (Sagacious Dasheng Ratna, who fought the Chobei brothers. Also, we learn that each of them has a special training tactic, which includes the Bōchū Jutsu that is executed by Ju Fa and Tao Fa, which mostly improves their Tao by having sex, and elements like fire, wood, etc. </p><center></center><div>_{All the Lord Tensen in one page.} </div> <p></p><center></center> <div>_{The god-like rulers of the Island.} </div> <p></p><p>  At this point, we can imagine a saga in Saint Seiya style; who doesn't remember each character fighting one of the 12 Gold Cloth characters? But let's go with Hell's Paradise. Gabimaru was saved by Mei, and they find two other characters who are trying to understand the Island. The criminal Tamiya Gantetsusai, a skilled swordsman who wants to be recognized and immortalized in the history books as the most powerful swordsman, and his executioner, the samurai Fuchi. Fuchi is small-looking for a samurai, but he is very skilled, and he has some medical and anatomy knowledge thathe uses to understand a bit about the biology of the weird organisms of the Island.</p><p>  The volume has some fighting with two Doshis sent by the Lord Tensen to assess the humans that were there. When they find Mei, they recognize her and want to bring her back to Lord Tensen's castle since she has the same Tao as the rest of the god-like characters. But Gabimarustartst protecting her, er and that motivates him to fight the Doshis, a tough fight since they aren't as strong as Lord Tensen, but they are still very tough. </p><center></center> <div>_{Gabimaru protecting Mei} </div> <p></p><p>  But at the end of the volume, they explain their motivations for wanting to do Bochu Jutsu with her, or, i n not-fancy words, the sex training. I was already a crypto guy learning to navigate multiple blockchains. And here I met another group of people, those for whom their first contact with crypto was Hive. Hive motivates the onboarding of new members through its Proof of Brain capacity. You are rewarded for what you write. Different projects tried to create ways to connect Hive to the outer crypto world, like Hive Engine and Magi, but something is still missing from these projects. The regular user here isn't prepared to deal with popular blockchains focused on investment.</p><p>  I have been here for 5 years, and during this time I have met many people. I pushed some of them quite a lot to diversify and try other blockchains. But I can't contact every single user to teach them. So that is the motivation behind this project. You can check how the investment is doing through our front end, and when you are ready to withdraw, you can get your funds back on the Hive blockchain in the form of HIVE.</p><p>  The project is managed by me, and currently it is limited to just one Liquidity Pool option: SOL/USDC, which pairs a volatile crypto asset with a stablecoin. The APR varies a bit throughout the week. As I write this post, it is 14.07%. What do I get from it? I charge an administration fee of 2%, which is paid only when you deposit HIVE. During deposits and withdrawals, there are also some fees associated with converting HIVE into the assets needed and depositing them into the Liquidity Pool. For now, for any deposit above $6, I am using an exchange route to convert the funds, so the expected fee is around $0.21 + 0.2%, which is paid to the exchange. Well, the first one is my reputation. Most people don't know me, so how can they trust me? I have limited the test phase to just $100 per user so I can keep track of it properly. The other risks are that Liquidity Pools are considered risky investments, especially when they involve crypto assets. SOL, despite being one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market activity, is volatile, like any other crypto asset. Also, what if Hive stops working? How would you withdraw your money? I am thinking about a Plan B for that case because the assets would still be on the Solana blockchain. One possibility would be to ask users for a Solana wallet address of their choice and use it as an alternative way to return their funds. It has a total of 4 seasons, with 12 episodes each. I will watch some interesting stuff that I have on my list, and after I am done, I will payfor 1 month of Crunchyroll, maybe, to try to finish it. The anime has maybe some spices that attracted me: horror and fantasy. However, there are some elements that surprised me somehow, ow but they didn't hit well. </p><center>  </center><div>_{<a href="https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/kCj9byv6RnSPxv60JhmT88VDmt3.jpg">Ghouls have these weird appendages that they use for fighting; this is Kaneki's friend Touka, another Ghoul. [Screenshot from the Movie Database]</a>} </div> <p></p><p>  Different from Hell's Paradise, which I became a fan of, Tokyo Ghoul is more focused on the gore and action compared to some philosophical questions. But still has some moral debates that are quite interesting, especially at the end of the 1st season. The main character is a damn unlucky student, Ken Kaneki. He lives in a fantasy Japan where ghouls exist. Ghouls are humanoid creatures that look like humans, but are hungry for human flesh. In addition, they have weird fighting skills called kagune, a hidden appendage that appears on their back and is used to fight; each ghoul has a different kagune, and some of them aren't even made of flesh.</p><p>  So this guy Kaneki got seduced by an intelligent woman that in the end was a ghoul and wanted to eat him. But he was "saved" by a mysterious accident in the process that killed the ghoul called Rize. He was also affected by the accident,t and somehow the doctors decided to transplant the organs of Rize to Kaneki, which made him become like a hybrid of human and Ghoul. He got the Ghoul powers and hunger, including Rize's Kagune, but his blood still looks human. </p><p>  Kaneki, despite the transformation, still wants to be seen as the good guy, and he tries his best to keep his morals and ethics, such as avoiding killing humans and even ghouls. But Rize's consciousness stayed in his body and convinced him in the end that being too good only made him and the others around him suffer, and he needed a bit of bad spice. Careful with the SPOILER: </p><details>So that's how the season ends, after Kaneki accepts Rize's advice and merges her killer's consciousness with him, and he becomes like a Ghoul Super Saiyan, which even changed his hair to white.</details><center>  </center><div>_{<a href="https://www.crunchyroll.com/watch/GK9U34MXN/ghoul?srsltid=AU7gw4VgC2RJRSbriHE8oFbcNJ45iAa4gD-9Qglp1E8BjEv_1L5mu6q1">The last episode talk between Kaneki and Rize's consciousness that resides on him. But this story of Kagunes and Super Saiyan Kaneki was too much for me, since it reminds me a bit of other fight anime like Saint Seiya and Dragon Ball, since you have weapons for each fighter and also this super-powered main character on a different level from the others. Things that happened at work, or even in our personal lives. It was a good escape. Here I have been working for 5 years, and all my co-workers are very private in their own ways. But there is this new co-worker, a bit younger than me, who joined recently. We started chatting about regular things like food, culture, even anime, and I started to get a bit more loose and reduce the filter, let's say. </p><p>  So my need of getting a person to listen to me anything without filter is challenging and in this case a sentence in the wrong time just was interpreted maybe as a not appropriate and the person just blocked. At first I didn't understand much, but after some AI help to analyze our chats, we found that one sentence could be interpreted as a bit "flirty". Well, I asked the person directly and confirmed that they didn't like what I said much. What could I do? I followed some advice from AI. Asked sorry for doing that and made the person uncomfortable. Also gave an apology and just stepped back. </p><p>  It's been a week since the conversation, and maybe we will start talking like before, or maybe never. In the end, I missed an opportunity to be heard finally, or maybe this person wasn't ready yet. One day perhaps I will find again someone that start listening to me again. It is a bit sad because even after the episode in the regular lunch, we are talking about random things in the group, and it's crazy that we share so many things in common. I am a bit late to write about this one since I already finished the 4th Volume! After the emotional volumes 1 and 2, where we get attached to the feelings of Sagiri and Gabimaru and maybe we start to cheer for their success more and more, this volume explains more about what is going on on the mysterious island with the crazy insects and giant monsters. </p><center>  </center><div>_{The brothers Aza face the Lord Tensen Ju Fa and see his capacity of regeneration.} </div> <p></p><p>  Here we finally meet the beings behind everything that happens on the island called Lord Tensen: 7 supreme beings that are almost godlike in their characteristics; they can switch genders when they want and control their Tao with perfection, using it for physical restoration and balance with nature. They can become either male or female since they can control the Yin and Yang of their bodies, so they can switch anytime. They are powerful,l and our group of criminals and samurai start to meet some of them and have some trouble. </p><center>  </center> <div>_{The group meets the tree-like person Hoko and the "kid" Mei. Hoko explains everything.} </div> <p></p><p>  They met also this tree like guy called Hoko, he was a human and he was born and raised in the island. He introduced all the history and geography of the place to Sagiri, Yuzuriha, Gabimaru, and Senta. Also,o he explained the Elixir of Life, or as it is known, Tan, which is the liquid produced by humans that decomposes and is absorbed by the island and used by the 7 Lord Tensen to keep their regeneration and immortality. On top of Hoko, they also meet this little girl who leaves with Hoko for a while, and he takes care of her, called Mei.</p><center>  </center> <div>_{The emotional death of the samurai Tenza saving Nurugai and Shion.} </div> <p></p><p>  We have an interesting emotional part. The samurai Tenza and the convicted Nurugai, a young kid, face the Lord Tensen Zhu Jin. The former sensei of Tenza, the blind Shion,n appears to help, but it looks worthless. Tenz sacrifices his life to save Nurugai and Shion. It is painful for Shion to see his former pupil die, and Nurugai also feels the pain of losing her friend. Also, Gabimaru faces Zhu Jin after that, when he founds the gate to Horai. Gabimaru isn't powerful enough since he is mostly powerful but doesn't dominate the Tao and Yin Yang; the little Girl Mei, and what we thought was just a weak regular kid, in reality is much more powerful than we thought. She basically creates a shield and escapes from Lord Tensen. </p><center>  </center><div>_{Mei Saving Gabimaru with a power field in his fight against a Lord Tensen.} </div> <p></p><p>  The volume introduces a bit of what volume 4 brings and how things are getting heated when they finally meet this god-like enemy. The author got right to start explaining a bit everything to understand a bit more about the context of this island and what our main characters are looking for. Health problems come all the time without warning. My mom has a history of immune diseases; I have a history of antiphospholipid syndrome and an arterial blood clot in my leg; and recently, my father battled biliary duct cancer. But the news keeps coming a lot, and that creates a bit of stress in our family. Dealing with a biological problem and also with emotional issues is always a challenge, but we need to deal with ourselves and the other people,e including those with the diagnosis. </p><center>  </center><div>_{The antibody exam showing postive for the marker.} </div> <p></p><p>  Recently, in August, st we went to a family checkup, and the doctor gave us plenty of blood exams for all of us. Everything was regular as expected, except my oldest daughter, who had some ferritin levels that were low. Since my mom has Celiac Disease, the doctor decided to give another round of blood exams, including screening for Celiac disease. Again, she got some anemia markers low and a tTG-IgA test (tissue transglutaminase immunoglobulin A) positive. For some reason, the lab didn't do the EMA-IgA test (Endomysial Antibody IgA) to confirm. The Pediatrician talked with our family doctor about it. In the end, we paid for the exam when we went to Brazil, and she got positive as well. </p><p>  When we came back from our trip, we went to the pediatrician, and she gave another round of blood tests since, to confirm the diagnosis, she needed an extra one; because of her age, endoscopy isn't recommended for the diagnosis. So here we are again with all the IgA markers positive again,n 2 months later. So basically, we have been preparing my daughter for a gluten-free diet, and now I just want the green light from the doctor. In the beginning she got upset since kids love fast food and other junk food, and she will need to pay attention of what she eats and at least our Tim Hortons and Mcdonald trips are going to end since they don't offer nothing gluten-free. At least it is a condition where the only medicine is to stop eating food with gluten, and you get to normal, and she was lucky that for now she didn't have any challenging gastrointestinal symptoms, which are associated with the condition.</p><p>  On the other hand, my father had to return to chemotherapy. His cancer got smaller and stabilized; he was only on immunotherapy. But 4 weeks ago, an imaging test showed that it started to grow a bit, including some lymph nodes affected. So more cisplatin and gemcitabine , and I think his body is getting tired of it, he got some low platlets low that made to postpone his treatment this week. Cisplatin affects the generation of new blood cells, and platelets and red blood cells can be very affected. He is sad and feeling powerless. She isn't prepared to stay without my dad, not just as a company but my father manages the house, paying bills. Also, my brother and I don't live there, and she lacks a bit of initiative to make decisions. So what about me? I have to deal with a young kid who just discovered a condition, which will also affect our budget since gluten-free food is more expensive. And in addition trying to manage the feelings that are in another continent.
