This is a late post about my #ELIXIR token investment, but I still wanted to get this out as I have been tracking my investment and staking journey from the beginning. Every Saturday the #HIVE dividends are paid out and this time I recevied close to 52+ HIVE..not that bad at ALL... When I first started tracking my investment the very first week I got 25 HIVE and now seeing it grow every week is like wow thats the way to go. I just hope the HIVE dividends continue to flow IN. I know it would come down as more users are buying in #ELIXIR tokens to increase their stake. Higher the stake higher is the dividend...

My Investment in #ELIXIR Token Update - 4th #HIVE Dividend Received

This week I did not get a chance to buy more #ELIXIR tokens and hence my stake was the same as last week. All what I did was restaked the ELIXIR that I got via the HIVE POWER delegation. My target is to have around 5K ELIXR staked and right now its sitting around 3244+ so there is much more work to do before I call it mission accomplished. Right now twe are into the second round of ELIXIR SALE where it is selling for 2 HIVE and I wished I could have bought more ELIXIR at round one.

When you have a PLAN you need to find all the means to execute it. I know its not that easy to follow the PLAN ie the plan is made and its ALL done. There is alot of hard work goes behind the scenes to execute the PLAn. Anyways moving forward, my wife MRs. Preetu Gupta had this wish of having a fixed deposit monthly income and to start with we thought that lets do it for INR 2 lakhs and see how it goes. Yesterday, I made a post about this, and here is the link to the same for reference. Fixed Deposit - Considering as part of MY Investment Plan - Fixed Monthly Income - Lets Explore.... It explains our plan and the reason why we are looking at moving towards an old school investment strategy, even when we have other options available to us, like the stock market, mutual funds, crypto and others. Lets us now get into the execution part.. I decided to do with the ICICI Bank and that too via their mobile App and beelive me the entire process was very SIMPLE and easy to follow...Let us look into it now...

Fixed Deposit - My ₹2 Lakh FD Plan Execution...

There is this old saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket" and I think this applies perfectly to our investment strategy as well. While I continue to explore opportunities in the stock market and crypto, I also believe in having a more traditional investment option that can provide a steady and predictable monthly income. And so is the case here which will get me more than 1K INR monthly. ICICI mobile App didnt allow to take screenshots and hence what I did is took the picture of the every screen from my other mobile phone to cpature the process and post it here on the HIVE Blockchain. As seen from the above image the first option was to selcect FP from the App and click - "Create new FB" button and as soon as you clicked it, here is the next screen that comes up...

Enter the deposit amount and then select the deposit tenure the highest paying interest was with tenure being grater than 3 Years and selecting the payout as cumullative. But I knew what I wanted and hence my options where 1 Year with monthy payout which I selected and moved on to the next screen which showed me my actual monthly payout and here is the screenshot showcasing the same..

Yes its INR 1036 montly payout and the same is reflected in my thubnail image and also on the above image which is a picture of the ICICI bank mobile App screen taken from my other phone. Snapshot are not allowed for the banking applications and hence had to take this route. Moving forward, I now had to confirm the details on the screen and lock in the same to complete the process of opening the Fixed Deposit.

Once confirmed, the FD was all set, and now it was time to wait for the monthly interest income to start coming in. Check this final screen out on the congratulations message from bank on the FD been creating... Now what NeXt?

Well this is my small step towards a more traditional investment strategy that has been finally completed and as I said earlier it is not just about how much you invest or how much you earn, but also about the little things that bring happiness to your family. Having a good investment plan in itself is a very big task, and then following it and being consistent with your plan is another. Many times, I have made many investment plans but have failed to follow and stick to them and keep investing regularly. For example, I started with mutual funds SIP [Systematic Investment Plan] invesetd for like 5 years but then did not renew the SIP and finally landed up withdrawing all the money seeing good retunrs. I guess its human nature as soon as they start to see profits they take quick actions and as a result the enitre investment plan goes for a toss. Anyways coming to the main topic for this post is around investing in fixed deposits for a fixed monthly income. So why ALL of a sudden plan to haivng a fixed deposit? Well I have a story for that and it is as follows...

Fixed Deposit - Considering as part of MY Investment Plan...

At first it may sound like an old school kind of investment, but still, when it brings joy to your better half my wife Mrs. Preetu Gupta, then you need to look at it differently. After all, investments are not always about earning higher returns or building wealth. Sometimes, it is also about happiness, peace of mind and the satisfaction of doing something for the person you love. My wife expressed me that lets build an fixed deposit corpus and to start with she suggested that lets first invest around Rs.2 Lakhs INR which is approximately like $2.5K dollars. I would says its a decent amount to start with and see how it goes. Right now I have not invested but started to look at the various options. Have a look at the above image which is a fixed deposit caclulator on ICICI bank website and it indicated that investing Rs. 2 lakhs INR would get me around Rs.1K+ on a monthly basis ... not that bad at all. If I do rough math then its like 6.5% interest rate per annum. It can increase if I take the payout at the maturity but then that is not my objective here. The objective is the build income on a monthly basis. The next I did is build up a table to see how the monthly income would look like for an investment of ₹2 lakh, ₹5 lakh, and ₹10 lakh ICICI Bank Fixed Deposits, using the interest rates provided on ICICI bank website and here is the table...

The last post about my journey of continuing to invest in Digital Gold was about a month ago. Buying digital gold is my futher investment strategy and as I have stated in past I did like to have 1 GRAM digital GOLD to start with and hence these small investments at regular intervals. Every drop counts, and I believe these small investments will help me build my Digital Gold holdings over time. Here is the snapshot taken from the Amazon App where worth INR 5K digital gold was purchased and as a matter of fact I got around 0.3298gm of GOLD deposited into my digital valut... So now what NeXt? This is my third trade in digital gold and I plan to continue to do the same over the coming months. The idea is to keep making small investments at regular intervals and gradually build my Digital Gold holdings. Frankly speaking I am in no rush and every time there is a sharp deciline in GOLD prices that would be an opportunity to buy in more digital gold ie my next trade will be executed. There is an option of doing an SIP [Systematic Investment Plan] but right now I am not intrested in it but rather foscused on buying at any regular interval - there being no hard and fast rules here. Its been a while that I started to buy #EDSI token which is yet another second layer token on the HIVE Blockchain. EDSI is also known as Eddie Earner Income tokens that pay the token holders a weekly HIVE dividend each Monday. Sounds intresting? And want to lear more about the project then check the recent update from the team about the current project status and how things have been moving around - EDSI Total EcoSystem Update - ALL TOKEN HOLDERS READ!. For me I like the project mainly because of the #HIVE dividends being paid out. Pllus its backed by 1 HIVE and right now the situation is such that there are around 130K+ #EDSI circulating, each backed by 1 HIVE. And the eddie-earner account holds 184K+ HP, giving the project an excess of 54K+ unallocated hive power. And that is again a great thing, as it provides an additional buffer beyond what is currently required to back the circulating #EDSI tokens. My Investment in #EDSI Token - HIVE Dividend Every Week - My Current Stake...

As per the above image where I took the snapshot of my wallet from hive-engine, I have almost 1200 #EDSI tokens in my wallet and at the moment its worth $73+ dollars. Not too bad and here is the glimpse of the dividend that I have receviend in past 6 weeks... So now what NeXt?

I also have around 25K+ Hive Power delegated to @eds-vote account and this get me around roughly 21+ #EDSI tokens on a weekly basis. I plan to continue to delegate HP to the project until I have like 5K+ EDSI accumulated. THis is the first GOAL here for myself on the accumulation of the EDSI token. Apart from that every now and then I am leveraging my passive income stream generated on the HIVE Blockchain to buy more EDSI tokens...here is summary for last some purchases of the token...

At the moment, I also have a buy bid of 103+ EDSI tokens placed for 1 HIVE each. So anyone who #hodl EDSI and willing to sell can get me those precious EDSI tokens. EDSI Total EcoSystem Update - ALL TOKEN HOLDERS READ!

1/ EDSI Tokens

Things have been going as planned as always since the last update. Nothing shocking are crazy has happened. We are getting closer to the flip, with current APY dropping by only 0.01% a week, meaning we are about as close as we can be. Ok, lets start with EDSI mintage.

We're still consistently minting between 570-620 EDSI tokens per week. Breakdown of that would be roughly 300 to EDS miners, 250-280 to eds-vote delegators, and 30 to EDSD holders.
The total circulating EDSI is currently 129,936.73, so still a long way to go to get to our hardcap of 500k 😅. About 15 years away until the last EDS miners mint, more about that below.

Since the last update, we have been powering up around 700-800 HP per week. The amount we power up each week slowly grows over time as our HP balance compounds and rewards from side projects like eds-vote and edsd have increased.

The total current HP balance is 184,139.80 so not too shabby. We should close over 200,000 HP in roughly 4-5 months from now.

The HIVE income pool chart shows a lot of EDSI history. Between 1-2, we are selling EDSM tokens, and the income pool/EDSI APY is mooning. Between 2 and 3, EDSI is not selling tokens, and we were running on autopilot, just compounding our HP balance. This is when we created eds-vote and eds-d. At 3, we froze the income pool at 335 HIVE and put out a vote post about reducing the EDSI APY as curation and leasing rewards were dropping. At 4, we dropped the EDSI income pool from being worth 12% of the EDSI HP balance down to 9%. From 5 until today, we're back on autopilot. This week's income pool is 317.61 HIVE. It's been increasing by around 1 HIVE per week and still after 5 years, it increases each week (part from planned/voted in change from 12% down to 9%), never had a declining week, as the HP balance is ever-increasing.

Damn, thats a pretty bad-looking chart, the EDSI APY has been dropping each week for over 4 years now, lol. I love it because it's still the highest-paying HIVE income token on HIVE. 4 years of weekly declines and still #1 baby 🤪
Anyone involved with EDSI for a long time will know this is all part of the plan, and we are getting closer to our goal of flipping the EDSI APY from dropping each week to increasing each week. Infact, we cant get any closer with the APY dropping by only 0.01% a week for the past month are so. The EDSI APY this week is 12.75%. I still cant call the bottom, but I can't see us dropping to under 12%.
I expect the APY to continue to drop by 0.01% a week for the next month or so and then drop to 0.00%. It will stay locked at 0.00% and the EDSI APY will freeze for 4-6 months and then it'll flip to plus 0.01% a week, stay there for 2-3 months, then increase to plus 0.02% a week, stay there for a month, increase to 0.03%, stay there 2 weeks, increase to 0.04%, you get the idea, it'll get faster. As the APY decline slowed up, the increase will speed up.
Will be interesting to see how demand is for EDSI when the APY is increasing each week. Maybe the same as it already is, lol. Dont sleep on EDSI, they already pay out a higher yield than curating HP, with no powerdown and liquid HIVE income payment each Monday.

Hey All,

At the moment, there are a lot of SALES going on. You name any online shopping portal, like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and many similar others, and they are offering huge discounts across different categories of products. There was a request from my daughter Dishi Gupta where she wanted to buy another mobile phone and I had promised here that if she secures greater than 90% in her 10 CBSE [Central Board of Secondary Education] boards then she would definately getting a new mobile phone. And I guess the time has finally come with the Big Billion Days SALE going on Flipkart. Specifically, I chose Flipkart because, in my experience, it offers better and more competitive prices than Amazon for many products. Though my first prefrence is Amazon but then I could not find iPhone 17 on SALE at a better price then Flipkart... Will delve into the price at which I got in a moment...

Bought iPhone 17 During Flipkart BBD Sale 2026

The above image is a snapshot of my order from Flipkart, showing an amount of almost INR 80K, which is approximately equivalent to $825. But this is not my actual buy price there is a seprate discount which is not accounted and that is the CASH BACK where I leveraged my Flipkart SBI Credit Card, which will get me another INR 5K as cashback. Hence, the actual cost I paid for the iPhone 17 (256 GB) comes to around Rs. 76K, which I feel is a very competitive price. Here is the colour that she went for which is Lavender...

Here are the configuration for iphone 17 and now the questions is why iPhone 17 and not the iPhone latest version like iPhone 18 Pro series and the iPhone Duo foldable model. Well, the simple answer is that those models are out of my budget. We went with a budget of INR 50K but then landed up paying extra 25K INR just because my daughter was very much inclined towards having an iPhone and after doing ALL the research we had to restrict to iPhone 17 & here is the high level sepcifications of the mobile phone...

What was more interesting here was that we did consider buying a Samsung phone as well. However, after visiting some stores, having a look and feel of the devices, and experiencing them in person, we finally landed on buying an iPhone instead of a Samsung. On the other side we had finally shorlisted amoung iPhone 17 and iPhone 17e but then paying a bit higher here for the chip which A19 with 5-core GPU we finally settled for iPhone 17...

Hey All,

As you ALL know, I have a decent investment in the #CAKE token, and hence, I keep track of what is happening around the PancakeSwap project overall. I also follow their X account to stay updated with ALL the latest developments. Recently there was a news around this DUAL INVESTMENT on PancakeSwap where they announced on October 8th, 2026 about it and initially supporting tokens like #BTC and #BNB on BNB Chain. How Pancakeswap has marketed this dual investment is by stating these great lines which are:: Waiting for the dip or taking profit? Get paid while you wait.

ALL one need to do is set their price to buy low or sell high, lock in a date, and earn either way. How ALL of this works out lets explore it in more detail...

PancakeSwap Introduces - Dual Investment - What is iT? Lets Explore...

The above image is a demonstration of dual investment in its simplest form to understand. The first step is to Choose Target Asset (APR) & right now we just have two options BTCB or BNB

The second step is to - "Choose the Direction" BUY or SELL. In more simple terms select Buy Low if you want to buy BTCB at a lower price, or Sell High if you want to sell BTCB or BNB at a higher price. The next step is to - Set your target price and date: Choose the price at which you are comfortable buying or selling, along with the settlement date. Once done then you need to deposit the required tokens and confirm your investment i.e. click Subscribe button. Now comes the intersting part which is - Earn rewards while you wait: the funds remain locked until the settlement date, and one cannot withdraw them early. Finally the Settlement part i.e. on the settlement date, lets say if the target price is met, your funds are converted at your selected price. Otherwise, you receive your original funds back along with the rewards. Either way, you earn rewards for participating. Now the disclaimer part and to be honest, I have not tried out this dual investment scheme on the Pancakeswap and yet exploring a bit more before I make my final decision to invest here. And before I end this post, please note this important point which is around the settlement outcome which depends on the target price and direction. For Buy Low, the market price must be at or below your target; for Sell High, it must be at or above your target.
