Fungifriday Donkey-hoof mushrooms.

When you're out hiking in the mountains you always find wood mushrooms that aren't soft. When you touch them you know it's not just a simple mushroom, it's like touching wood. Its bark is so thick and strong that you could confuse it with the wood it's attached to. If it weren't for the white color on its underside, you wouldn't realize this is a mushroom, but it's very beautiful with its woody touches.

And here we have a very useful mushroom if we want to have fuel to start a fire with great ease this mushroom is highly combustible.

Man believes he is stronger than nature.

Man has always been stealing space from nature, but he always ends up losing because when nature comes into action, there is nothing we as a species can do except respect its designs and step aside, since it will continue to do whatever it pleases.

Earthquakes, eruptions, landslides — she will always come and reclaim her space in this world, taking back her place after everything we have done to her. We will always end up losing. Just look at this image where a tree has been uprooted and nothing and no one could prevent it no matter what, so you know that we can do absolutely nothing.

From Tree to Plate . Edible Mushroom (Pseudofistulina Radicata)

Sometimes, once in a lifetime, nature blesses us and provides food in abundance. That happened to us one day with an edible mushroom called tenquique, which grows on the guachipilín tree, (Diphysa americana). And while walking through the forest we saw the tree and on its trunk dozens of mushrooms like we had never seen before, never such a quantity, so we were ecstatic.

We proceeded to do the checklist: verify that the mushroom was what we think it is, see that it is attached to the trunk of the tree, see that it has a rubbery and elastic consistency, then that smell and characteristic colors that are unique, then even when you are cooking them you must see that it smells exactly with its characteristic smell as well, ahhh and you must be completely sure about the guachipilín tree, if it is that one take it and eat it with confidence, if not don't even think about touching it, you can kill yourself trying.

The tree has small leaves but its main characteristic is its rough, grooved trunks.

So with all that verified, you can proceed to make the most sublime of stews that a human being can make in this life to give yourself a spectacularly delicious banquet. There is enough quantity for everyone, so you can see how to make the stew, tomato, onion, oil, and let's fry them and taste this banquet for our good luck.

The other thing is that mushrooms are never pulled out by the root. You will find a photo where it looks like we did pull them out because we didn't have a tool, but we left the root in place, waiting for another good harvest.

Nature always emerges triumphant.

A few days ago we ate a little from a delicious spinach plant and then we left — or rather threw — the stems on the ground and forgot about them for a few days. What a great surprise it was when, days later, the plant had emerged from the depths of the earth, giving us the opportunity to enjoy much more spinach again, thanks to our beloved Mother Nature.

Here you can appreciate it, and you know, whenever you want food you know very well where to look and where you will find all kinds of food.

Fungi Friday: What do our trees host?

When we look at the contours of our nature we observe large trees that have good company, as we can see here we are talking about embracing fungi that grow around the contours of trees, completely surrounding them. Let's remember the noble function of fungi, many of them provide nutrients to trees, others do the opposite, and others are in charge of decomposing organic matter, allowing the natural cycle to continue its course, avoiding waste and generating new species that will come and will be fed by the species that are already decomposing.

And here you have a photographic collage about each of our beautiful species that adorn our beautiful countryside and fields, so let's learn to enjoy these magical beings that come to offer us their wonderful images.

We have beautiful colors of all varieties, from white to intense orange tones that stand out on the trees.

This proves it, you can see how the nightlife in our country El Salvador is appreciated in our views, that here you have clean streets, squares full of nightlife in full swing, flourishing businesses and many signs that before we didn't even think about, knowing that anything bad could happen to you.

Here at home we found this beauty, some beautiful newborn rodents that had just come to enjoy this wonderful and beautiful world. They were so small and fragile that it was even sad to touch them, that's why we used a basket to transport them to a safe place.

When you live in a country house, you know it is very beautiful and pleasant to find these beauties and you say to yourself, this is how species are preserved and this is how nature takes care of its creatures, a true beauty of creation.

After admiring them and enjoying them and seeing their tender smiles and innocent movements, since rodents and many mammals are born blind, therefore they have slightly clumsy movements.

I hope you like these photos of newborn animals because we truly appreciate them a lot.

By the way, we went out to get some water and unfortunately the felines appeared like ghosts and in the blink of an eye those tender creatures became the most delicious snack for the hungry kitties, so all that was left was to remember them in these photos because they were gone quite quickly, that is how mother nature takes very good care of all her children, including felines.

Eternal wood for building.

When you want to make adjustments to your family facilities, you want them to last an eternity and not have to be changing wood all the time, but wood is not durable if water comes into contact with it and sometimes some posts are left exposed to the elements. This makes you have to change your posts every three to 5 years, spending effort and resources that you could well save.

But how to do it? Well, here I tell you how. Your indispensable element is fire. Yes, you heard right, light the wood on fire and there is the secret to the eternal youth of your wood. You will know that you can bury the trunk and expose it to the elements and it will not get damaged, since the fire will crystallize the resins of the wood and will make it so water, woodworms, or termites don't get in to damage your woods, and so you don't have to be working all the time or making unnecessary efforts. Here I show you the process. You can burn the wood only in the part that you are going to bury or expose to the ground so as not to burn the whole tree or trunk, and thus you protect what is exposed.

So here you have how to improve your life, or rather how to make your life easier and avoid complications.

When we see a world that is increasingly monotonous and increasingly grim, with devastated places and arid, burned forests caused by the so-called intervention of human civilization, we wonder what will be left for us in the future. And it is there that hopes arise — small, very small hopes that make our lives magical and full of light and color. Here we see it.

Every time we have the opportunity, we can appreciate it.
As you can see in the first photo and in the ones that follow, these images reflect each of our values and allow us to see that there is always hope, there will always be one more day, we will always have the opportunity to start again. So here we have our own way of seeing things differently.

So when you feel like hope is leaving, just turn around, look at nature, and you’ll realize that tomorrow holds so many hopes and opportunities.
